I go here a lot and I have to admit I was torn between 3 and 4 stars. Should be 3.5 for a few reasons but I'll give them 4 rather than 3. The good: the pizza is good...not the very best (Viani in Sleepy Hollow is better) but very do-able. Most of the dishes are very good. Again, there are better but no matter what you order, it should be pretty good and you'll be satisfied. It's very clean in there. I am a bit of a germaphobe and always noticing things that others don't notice and I find that whether I'm having food delivered, take out or eating there, I never have reservations about cleanliness or food handling. For the most part, the staff is friendly but sometimes the man who runs all the pizzas (is there like all the time and works like crazy) will not be in any hurry to make a new Sicilian pie if it's after 5 at night on a weekday. But other than that the staff is very friendly and helpful. If they screw up a delivery order, they make it right. Online ordering system is great. The bad: The portions are a bit off. Not much when you order ravioli adult entree but huge when you order kid's spaghetti and meatball. They have way too many varieties of pizza and while I'd like to try some new ones once in a while you can tell that a lot of them just sit there all day. Not very appetizing. Sometimes I have to go in and NOT look at the pizza lined up because it will make me lose my appetite. Like I mentioned above, the Sicilian sells out a lot. It makes me crazy when I go there and there is always one or two slices of Sicilian and if someone buys them before you get there, a new pie won't be there any time soon but every other variety on the planet is sitting in the window not selling. They definitely do not make enough Sicilian and too much of everything else. I hate their triangle bread things. I want regular Italian bread. Those triangles are the worst. No flavor and I know they bake them on site but they're awful. When the management isn't there (I think Sundays) the quality suffers. I once had a ceasar salad on a Sunday delivered that was all wilted and slimy. It was horrible. When I brought it back, there was no one over the age of 20 in the place. A month or so later I made the same mistake (I had some interim salads not on a Sunday which were fine so I didn't put it together). They sometimes load up the delivery guys and the food arrives cold. I've seen them do it when I'm in there so I know it happens. Overall decent pizza place with some rough edges. read more

My biggest complaint about Capri is that horrible stuff they call bread. I know that they love it and they bake it fresh but I want actual Italian bread, not triangles. I order from D'Italia or Sal's or Ossining whenever I'm ordering more than pizza just for the Italian bread. Otherwise they would have gotten 4 stars. If they didn't have so many pizzas on display and half of them look like they have been there for hours and hours, they would get 5 stars. I am old enough to remember when a pizza place didn't need 75 million types of pizza and most places put too many pizzas up and they are not popular enough and they just sit there. Even if I wanted one, I wouldn't order it late in the day. read more

I would give them 4 stars if their online system was still working. If you call for delivery you get hold on hold on hold on. I like their food but they need to put the online ordering back otherwise I'm not going back. Those reviewers that noted that it depends on who is there are SPOT ON. When it's all young kids, don't expect good service. It's like they are USELESS when the older crew are gone. I've also had issues with deliveries on Sunday when, I think, no grownups are around. I've actually gone in and looked around and seeing only teenagers, I walk out. They have no clue how to give good service. The management must have a screw loose to allow them to run the show some days. read more

Nothing special. I've been disappointed all three times I've eaten here. The entrees are just not good. The thing that really irked me is how thin they pound out the chicken cutlets. They're is barely any chicken! The consistency was closer to jerky rather than tender fried chicken. I've also ordered the pizza for take out a couple of times and it is below average. Very doughy and lacking in flavor. I don't even think they use real pizza dough. The consistency is just off. Anyone who thinks this pizza is thin and crispy is crazy because its far from it. read more

Some of the best thin crust pizza I have ever had. Most of the Italian dishes are pretty good. They have very nice salads that you can add various proteins to. Only negatives would be that the place is extremely hot to eat in during the summer. They do not have AC for their dine in customers which isn't great. I don't enjoy sweating while eating... Also waiter service can be very spotty depending on who you get as a server. Some of the female waitresses are not very good with timing when it comes to brining out food. The wings were very meaty and crispy to perfection but as mild as milk. That was the only issue I had which is why I can't give it more than 3 stars. The service was great the pizza was also great but I like my wings hot the point of extreme pain and agony. Everything else about this place was great tho. Very happy with the people that work there and the cleanliness of it. They deserve a better location than that strip mall tho. Overall I would go back and definitely try something else read more
