Service was fine, place the order and wait. We decided on our choices - one Wagyu burger, Fried Calamari, Medium Thin Crust Margherita Pizza, soft drinks - no beer or wine. While waiting for our meal out came a dozen or so garlic knots, on the house. They were warm, soft and covered with garlic and olive oil, very good. Calamari arrived next, nothing to write home about. It was dry, frozen, rubbery and chewy. Next came the burger. My son loved it. and finally the pizza. I hate to see so many bad reviews - but many seem to be bad reviews based on the wait time or the orders not arriving correctly for delivery. Victor the owner is super nice and friendly and you can tell he works his ass off to have a successful pizza place. Whenever I get pizza or soup there it's really delicious and I'm picky about good pizza. It always tastes fresh and I love that they're open till 2 AM every night of the week- great late night snack! I heard about this place from another mom. I had no idea this place existed because it is at the end of a shopping strip, next to McDonalds! A) They have a small ambiguous sign B) They are open on Mondays when most pizza places in this town and other towns are closed. C) they have an impressive menu for a small place D) The pizza was so good I couldn't even get seconds(plain and pepperoni) I will need to return to try more of their menu. Every single time it seems like they have no concept of time. They'll tell you that your order will be ready in 20 minutes and then 45 minutes later they're just starting on it. Also what kind if pizza place is closed at lunchtime 7 days a week? Open at 1 AM but closed at 1 PM is just ridiculous. Soooo. After raving about Victors grandma pizza to friends, I was told they no longer make it. I decided to check it out myself and was told they don't make it anymore "because it doesn't sell" and suggested I get the Margherita slice but it's not quite the same. I also realized I hadn't seen Victor or his son for many months and makes me wonder if they sold the business to the new people who are there. They said I could call ahead to order the grandma pizza and they would make it for me or if I come in, they will have it made in 20 minutes. A little inconvenient but at least they're accommodating.
