So so glad we came here! Friendliest service ever and the food was amazing. We got Nutella crepes with strawberry and Nutella doppio - which was Nutella with a double shot of espresso. Both were amazing. The owner came out and showed me how to eat the Nutella doppio the correct way and was very funny and entertaining. We would recommend this place to anybody for family friendly service and great food!!

The best frittata! Best service and delicious breakfast! We really loved our breakfast and our conversation with the owner. We highly recommend Capriccio Cafe! My husband said it was the best coffee in Destin!

What a GEM of a cafe! The bachelorette party group I was with came by while we were staying in Destin, and I wish we could have gone every day. The owner is Italian and so incredibly friendly. You can tell in the food and coffee that he knows what he's doing. The espresso is incredible. They have lots of fun drinks if that's your thing, but I suggest something simple like an iced americano so you can really taste that magical Italian espresso. The crepes were all amazing. I got the Parma as recommended by the owner, and the balsamic made it *chefs kiss.* The strawberry and mascarpone was also incredible! This is a must visit during your stay!

5/5 every single time! Food is amazing and the owner is the BEST! Its a place of nostalgia for us now. Kids are older and yet we find their napkins on the wall!

Wish I'd found this gem of a cafe the first day I was here...or maybe not just because it may have led to my missing out on trying some other spots! This is what a cafe is meant to be. Cozy, laid back, friendly service, delicious coffee, sandwiches, and crepes. Start with the coffee shop aspect. You'll get a great cup of coffee or tea, they have several varieties available, hot or iced, and, as you'd expect, they'll whip one up pretty much however you want it. Tried the iced snowflake coffee myself (the sever was kind enough to let me sample first when I asked what I should try...as I'm not a big coffee drinker, I still can't give it a just assessment of what it compares to, but I enjoyed it, just a nice, mild flavor to it). Food is excellent. Breakfast sandwich is a delightful combo of meat and cheese (appear to be freshly sliced, as I could see a slicer in the kitchen) on a flaky, buttery croissant...great start to the day. Tried this first as one of the many bits of customer-crafted napkin "art" hanging on the walls said to try it. I concur. But then you also need to get the crepes! Sweet and savory options depending on your mood. Crepes are perfectly prepared and house whatever contents you select nicely (I went for the Roman, basically akin to a chicken Caesar salad in crepe form...delicious). And I'd be remiss not to add, this is exactly the kind of local business you want to support. The owner is fantastic, as is the staff as a whole. Everyone will get a warm greeting, he'll check in on you, chat for a bit, and he'll remember you when you return. This will be a regular spot for me when I'm down here from now on.

So happy to see this place doing well.

Fully loaded croissant breakfast sandwich with speck. Side of hot sauce. The BEST breakfast in Destin. The coffee and amazing staff are the icing on the cake!!

This is one of those surprises. The owner is actually in there and he is working and serving with his team. He is also kindly speaking to you and confirming that you do really like what you ordered. The food was seriously delicious and served fairly quick too. The place is nice inside too.

We visited Destin while on spring break and had to test out Capriccio Cafe (due to the highly rated reviews on Yelp); it was smaller cafe that offered a variety of breakfast items and drinks -- upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly hello and a short little chat asking where we came from; the environment felt friendly and welcoming! I enjoyed the Roman (savory) Crepe and an iced vanilla oat milk latte! It was delicious!

We felt very under dressed for this restaurant but, you wouldn't know it based on how we were treated. We were kindly greeted at the door and offered a table right away. We opted to sit at the bar because we were in a hurry wanted to place a to-go order for a pizza. Our bartender was very kind and accommodating, He answered all of our questions and made recommendations. All of the pizza offerings looked fantastic. We settled on the Calzone Genovese, even though this was a calzone there was no problem making it into a pizza. The wood fire pizza oven was in the center of the restaurant, so we were able to watch them make our pizza. It had ricotta cheese, mushrooms, pesto, and caramelized onions. It was very good and a nice change from a pizza with classic red sauce. The pizza crust had a good amount of char on the bottom with just the right amount of thickness. I would recommend Mimmo's to anyone and will definitely return if I am ever back in Destin.

Even though it was packed, service was great, though there were long in between. We ordered; House bread and oil (free) - 5 stars, this was so delicious. Garlic knots - 2 stars, basic garlic knots. We liked the house bread better Gnocchi with lobster- 5 stars, absolutely delicious. I was nervous about the lobster. But it was cooked perfectly in the dish. Gnocchi melted in your mouth. Loved this Pasta lobster dish - 5 stars, also absolutely delicious. Perfect cook on the lobster, house made pasta, just wonderful. Tiramisu - 3 stars, it was delicious, only complaint was the lady fingers were not soaked in coffee. And they placed chocolate syrup on it, not sure why. Bread pudding - 2 stars, it's not traditional bread pudding. It came out in slice of cake form. The ratio to Carmel bourbon syrup was way off. It was more apple spice cake than bread pudding in my opinion. We would definitely go back for the pasta and house bread, while skipping apps and desserts. We would recommend this place for pasta!

We tried the pappardelle with sausage & the chicken piccata as our mains & I loved them both. The pappardelle was soo creamy & saucy! He greeted us, waited on us and took care of everyone else at the same time. No one was waiting on nothing. He gave us some great recommendations and we started with the garlic rolls. Man, these are some of the best garlic rolls I've ever had. They were hot, buttery and so light all at the same time. We then ordered the Gorgonzola pizza. It came with grilled chicken and onions with no sauce. We added pesto sauce and wow. The pizza was so delicious and had so much flavor. Krisztian then brought us out the best cheesecake I've ever had period! Everything about this dessert was screaming fresh and homemade. The crust was so buttery and the cheesecake had the right amount of sweetness. Also, they have happy hour 7 days a week!!!!! Their happy hour menu is outrageous and has something for everyone. The restaurant is very large with indoor and outdoor dining areas, and it is casual, but classy. Overall, we had a great experience. The host was fine; however, lacked empathy and customer service skills. He was a full 30 seconds ahead of us, and if we wouldn't have been tracking him with our eyes, we wouldn't have known where to sit. By the time we got to the table, he was nowhere to be found; however, the menus were in a pile on the table. Our server, on the other hand, was very pleasant. He was kind, caring and kept us informed and checked in on us frequently. The table shared the crab cakes and the blue crab claws, both of which were very good. Of course, the complimentary hush puppies are definitely a hit as well. For my entree I had the Grouper Louisianne. It was a tasty piece of fish, that came with a great side salad and a super delicious twice baked potato. Other than the host, the other reason for the minus one star, was the unusually long time it took between the salad course and the main course. It was a full 20 minute wait, after we were done with our salads, for the main course to arrive. Otherwise, I would likely try the restaurant again at a future time, if something brought me back to the area.
