I went there with friends. Had variety of crepes. Nutella, Nutella with strawberries where great. Fiends tried the Roman which is basically grilled chicken salad in a crepe comes with spicy sauce and Parma without prosciutto which has mozzarella and olive oil. Also tried the croissant with egg and cheese where the croissant very soft and flaky. The coffee was great. One negative:The iced tea is ginger peach flavor where ginger very strong in it and we had to remind about it came late after food as server forgot it. Second negative: Very strange set up as far as ordering as we where asked to sit outside with menus to decide whether to order then go to stand outside to order and get the coffee then allowed to go inside where all tables where empty anyway. Overall great experience and food but in my opinion is not worthy of 5 star average of 300 reviews. read more

This little cafe is exceptional. Stopped in twice this week while on vacation. The lady taking our orders was so friendly and kind! The owner was also very welcoming. The mochas were awesome. This place is delightful! This is my go-to place to go when I'm having a bad day. The staff is always super friendly and polite, the atmosphere is relaxing, and of course the food is delicious! Seriously, I can't say enough how sweet everyone is every time we've been. Without fail they greet us with a smile, make sure to check in and make sure everything is to our liking, and will happily bring us extra au jus or whatever we need. They'll even bus our table when it's not busy, which I really appreciate. I get the impression that the staff is all treated like family and loves their work, because whether the owner is there or not everyone is unfailingly kind and helpful to us. TLDR: Cute cafe, great coffee, yummy food (but needs more greens for balance). Friendly and involved owner! Capriccio was the last stop of our trip before heading back home. They open early and they have their full menu available all day, which is great since you can pick what you want based on your cravings for that day. The inside is a small and cute cafe, with several tables and a small lounge area. We had some trouble figuring out what to order, to which the hostess and the owner made several suggestions for us. They were more than happy to help us out based on what we were craving, and the owner's authentic Italian accent was very endearing. I opted for the parma stuffed crepe, while my friends both got a sandwich. I also ordered a cold brew coffee which came out in a to-go plastic cup (which was great and very convenient). We sat down and the food was brought out very quickly to us, with kind words from the owner. I liked that he was very invested and very personable with his customers. The food was very tasty, with the crepe being perfectly cooked. The ratio of the stuffing in the crepe was perfect, but my only grievance is that there wasn't enough greens so the flavor got to be somewhat monotonous at the last few bites. A sprig of arugula would've been just the thing to balance out the flavors. The sandwiches my friends had gotten were also very tasty, but they could also have used some more greens in them too. Overall, this is a great place for a quick brunch/lunch to stop in or to lounge for a while. The food is light but filling, making it a nice meal before heading to the beach, or in our case heading home. This will definitely be a regular stop for when I happen to be in town. read more

If you're reading this, this place is classified under "shut up and take my money". This is a local establishment that I can't believe I haven't been to yet since living in Destin. After taking a work trip to Tacoma I have been craving REAL coffee. Sorry Starbucks, but suck it...my gold card will now be used to scrape ice off my windshield, jk it's Florida. When I first walked in I was greeted by who I assume is the owner, Italian (legit right), and cleaning tables. Like a man who cares about his small business. We chatted about coffee and prosciutto and I was hooked. The barista is super knowledgeable and brews some great coffee. I also ate their Prosciutto de Parma sandwich which was huge, seriously, and ridiculously delicious. The server also brought me some balsamic to dip the fresh made focaccia (yes I could tell) in. We made a few stops here over the week we were vacationing in Destin, mostly for coffee but we did try some food in one of our visits. Cozied into a strip of stores off a main road, Capriccio was an easy walk from our spot on the water and a nice option for some convenient coffee. On top of your typical cup of joe, we also ordered iced vanilla lattes and their caramel macchiato. As far as crepes we tried the Romaine, which came with grilled chicken, romaine, tomato, Vidalia onion, parmesan, and caesar dressing. The crepe was huge. If you aren't absolutely famished, then plan on splitting a crepe with someone and that will be plenty. Looking for something a tad healthier, I ordered the Destin Salad that was served with grilled scallops & shrimp atop baby spinach, fresh citrus, and pecans. For the price, I would pass on the salad. Not very much of the protein/seafood was given, and compared to the crepe portion size, this salad was disappointing. I appreciated that the seafood wasn't oiled up and came fresh as is. And though the salad was small for my taste, it was served with a hefty serving of focaccia-like bread. Wish I could say I had a dessert crepe, but guess that's my excuse for a trip back. read more
