Tonight I tried the FRIED FISH SANDWICH, which surprisingly (not a huge fish lover) became the #1 best thing I've had here yet- it was just fantastic. I cleaned my plate!...which I don't do, especially at places like Motorboat where the portions are huge. Opt for the homemade slaw in place of chips- the pairing is perfect. - hambo - okie dokie(?)…read more- watermelon salad The hambo was okay in my opinion because there wasn't too much proscuito or filling. But that could just be the bite I had because my friend really liked it. I love the okie dokie(?) sandwich because I love artichoke hearts. It's definitely on the smaller side so I would get two sandwiches next time. The watermelon salad was fun and refreshing. I wouldn't get it again, but I did enjoy the flavor. (Just not sure if I can justify 4$ for a small side salad.)

They're def on the smaller side but quite economical so grabbing multiple is easy. However the interaction with the staff and the handling of my order threw me completely off and unfortunately dampened the actual experience of the food. For someone who had ordered online and already paid, it took WAY too long for me to get food that was already prepared and sitting on the counter. I walked in and it was almost like no one wanted my money. One of the staff passed by me to go outside and ran into me but didn't address it at all. Not even a "whoops". The young man behind the bar was casually talking to another customer who was clearly on their way out. No problem, until it became a problem. I stood there for several minutes not knowing whether to interrupt their convo, and once I realized I wouldn't be addressed otherwise I decided to just butt in. I work in the service industry and truly could never imagine leaving a new customer hanging like that. Mind you, I wasn't even in a rush and was enjoying my rainy day... which should let you know how ridiculous this interaction was. To make matters worse, they literally just threw the sandwiches in a paper bag. I don't mind minimalist packaging. But this was just disrespectful lol. All the sandwiches were just mashed together and deformed and unsightly once unwrapped. Unfortunately I don't remember any of them because they just weren't memorable. The interaction in the restaurant didn't make it any better. I've seen comments that some of the young (mostly white) "hipster" staff can be oddly passive aggressive to certain clientele... usually I don't agree with those views but man that day really made me think they had a point. First and last time. No bueno.

Additionally, I purchased the Kale Caesar salad as I've been on a long hunt for an all-Kale Caesar salad. Thankfully, social media led me to try this place. The customer service was excellent. She was attentive, patient, and made me feel very welcomed (felt like a hug). This vendor is located inside of Politan Row at Colony Square, so the ambiance was lively but not too loud for a Sunday. Can't wait to return! I'll take more food pics next time...ya girl was hungry LOL!

You place your order at the register and when your food is ready they call your name out. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad sandwich, the bread pudding and my friend ordered the tuna melt . The food came out fresh and did not take a long time to be prepared. I enjoyed every bite of my sandwich. It was flavorful and the portion size was great. Essentially you can eat 1/2 of the sandwich and save the other half for a second meal. Now the bread pudding was a disappointment. It was dry and lacked flavor, I would not recommend. My friend enjoyed her tuna melt, the only feedback she had was that the press did not allow for the inside of the sandwich to be warm. She thought the entire sandwich would be warm. I will be back for the chicken Caesar salad sandwich for sure !!

So this is a Mediterranean grill inside of Ponce City Market. When you get to Ponce City Market you have plenty of parking options but all of them are going to be paid. The last time I went was on a weekday and I was there for between four and six hours and I paid probably no more than $12. Just keep that in mind. I was walking around just trying to see things that I haven't done before as far as restaurants and I ended up here and it was not a bad choice. The people at the front were pretty cool and were very friendly so that was a positive plus. The food that I had was good and I would consider trying something else from there. Koobidch sandwich (with fries) - so the sandwich itself came on a piece of bread that was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The beef inside the sandwich had a sauce over it that was pretty good and savory. Now I just want to say that it did have a sauce that came with it but I don't know if it was for my sandwich. But whatever sauce that was was pretty darn good. It fit on the fries and helped the sandwich along as well. I would get the sandwich again but there are a couple of other ones there that I would try first. The French fries are really good. They came with a sack of fries and they were very well seasoned and super crispy. Overall it does have my intention to try it again at some point in time, even though there are a lot of restaurants to make it through, but it was a good experience.
