    Sausage breakfast sandwich
    Skylar P.

Best breakfast sandwich in Atlanta. Super high-quality ingredients and kind staff who are extremely welcoming. Note that they only have outdoor tables, and the inside area is rather small. Gator belt is also really good.

The burger was insanely good - line was out the door to wait for the burgers because they're made fresh. Well worth the wait. Coffee was also delicious and nice to refresh ourselves while we waited for the burgers.

I've gone back and forth on how I want to leave this review. Should I gate keep or should I rave about how amazing kinship is. I'll pick the latter. Kinship has the best sandwiches in the city. It may have something to do with it also being a butcher shop so the quality of the meat is unmatched. The meat is so tender and juicy, the bread is great so fresh and sauces on the sandwiches are also great. I ordered the Porchetta and Gator Belt. Both were amazing! The Porchetta is a pork sandwich and the Gator belt is a burger. The inside is pretty small, but there is a decent amount of tables to sit outside. It's also located right in the middle of Virginia Highlands Also the coffee is really good. I'm kinships newest biggest fan!! Enjoy!

Great sandwich's! Best vegetarian breakfast sandwich in Atlanta! The coffee is great! Love that you can purchase produce!

Double double breakfast sandwich, ice coffee and matcha latte

Love love love this place. Hot food is great, meat and groceries are great. Staff is very nice and helpful. It's cute on the inside and the seating area outside is clean and orderly. Couldn't complain!

Came on a weekend to try their sandwiches and academy coffee shop. We ordered two matcha lattes, the gator belt and the breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was paired with the perfect fluffiest bread and eggs! The sausage was so good and flavorful as well. The gator belt was so juicy and the patty really did melt in your mouth! The sauce and flavor were nothing short of delicious. The matcha lattes usually come unsweetened so we got vanilla to go with it but I recommend honey next time as the vanilla was too sweet for such a small cup. I thought the food was amazing and next time will come to try their other sandwiches. I would say the ordering concept was a little confusing since it really gets packed in there and there was no line or person at the register. We thought we ordered closer to the door but it the register closer to the butcher shop. I also thought the service could be friendlier, it was our first time visiting and there were too many people that we did not notice the napkins, straws and other items are in the corner, and when we asked for napkins the response was, it's out there. Overall, a nice spot for a quick bite while in VAHI.

It was pretty busy in the late morning on Sunday, but they kept things organized and moving. Not much indoor seating but plenty outdoors. I got the breakfast sandwich as a single and added bacon. The egg was fluffy, the Thomasville Tomme cheese melty and delicious, and the griddled onions, arugula, and Dukes mayo made it delicious. The brioche bun gave it more of a burger feel. Very good!

Saw this spot on "DIRT" by Huckberry and stopped by. The hype was real and really enjoyed this business. The coffee and sandwiches were top notch. Also picked up some sourdough and Italian sausage.

Iced coffee with oat milk, flat white with beautiful coffee art, and bagged breakfast sandwiches

Are you hungover and looking for a revival? Look NO further!! This place is a good ole' two in one: a butcher and and eatery! They offer several breakfast and lunch sandwiches and also have coffee. This place names their breakfast sandwiches based on the amount of meat you want added to it: single, double, and double double. Choices of protein include: sausage, bacon, or veggie! On my trip to this picture perfect eatery, I enjoyed a "single" with sausage. Upon finishing the most yummiest sandwich, I wish I had gotten the double! In addition to food, you can also enjoy coffee! I enjoyed an iced coffee with oat milk (yay for milk alternatives) and the other person in my party enjoyed a flat white which was topped with the most perf' coffee art! This is a type of establishment where you order at the counter and then they call out your name. If you want to stick around to enjoy your bite, you'll be able to grab a table outside! Give it a try!

We each got a breakfast sandwich, super happy with them! Place was busy but moved quick enough, cool shop to browse. Yum!

    Egg Cheese Bacon on Brioche

One of my friends found this spot on Tiktok, so we decided to come here for a quick breakfast before exploring VaHi! It's pretty easy to find next to Farmburger, and parkingwise, there's always residential parking in VaHi. Inside, it's pretty small with some indoor and outdoor seating and the menu is limited, but it's super cute, especially with the butcher/produce shop! We ordered at the counter and our food came out really fast. I had a Egg, Cheese, Bacon on a Brioche bun. It was super simple but so dang delicious!! The brioche bun was so fluffy and the bacon was cooked absolutely perfectly with the right amount of crispiness. Overall, really great food and a cute place to check out!

This place is great! We came here on a Saturday morning around 10:30AM looking for an easy breakfast fix and this was it! We were able to order immediately and the menu is super simple! The inside is also small so be prepared to get the food and go. I got an oat milk latte and a single breakfast sandwich. Although it was on the pricy side, it was all really good. The latte art was so cute and the breakfast sandwich was phenomenal. The bacon was delicious and crispy and the arugula and the brioche bun. Wow. This is amazing! If you're looking for simple and quick breakfast in Virginia highlands, this is the way to go! Simple menu and delicious coffee and everything has a great flavor. Not to mention the service was great! Definitely good vibes all around.

What a unique little shop! They were super knowledgeable about the coffee and they had a great selection of meats and cheeses. The meat is cut in a beautiful way too!

They also have a vary nice wine selection, fresh seasonal veggies, & fresh breads. I tried the Mexican cornbread the other day and craved it ever since. Don't forget the Caesar salad/ dressing. So, if you love to eat great food and thinking about nice butcher cut, fresh seafood, or heating up the fruits of their labor- you can't go wrong. One other thing I noticed- groceries are really expensive and sometimes getting home to discover you only have ingredients makes it hard to budget. I found that these great meals helped me trim a dollars off stocking the fridge.

It's a small cozy business and immediately we were welcome by Patty. Very friendly and sweet. Already the place had the tables pre seared with our last names and tables decorated. The business is truly Italian with different wines (with card descriptions and where it's from), olives, pastas, cheeses, ham, etc). Before the activity was going to start Luiggy (sorry for the spelling) came out and talked to each one of us. Very Italian. It felt like your Italian neighbor super friendly and definitely had to be owner. During each different wine, him and Connor (the wine expert) explained each wine in details and answered all our questions. The wines were from Puglia, Tuscany, Venetian and Apulia. Very fine and savory wines. They paired each with a particular appetizer salad, cheese and meats plate, manicotti and meatballs. All four are great sizes and also the wine they serve you. The two hours went by so fast. It was so relaxing, fun and you felt you were in Italy. We brought some wine bottles and they even gave us a discount. This place not only has this but also other cooking specialized classes and trips to Italy. This is an experience that you won't regret and I can't wait to participate in the other activities. Thank you Luiggy, Patty, Connor and Jose (my son that booked this) oh and the price for this is so worth it with everything you get!

Walking towards the venue, it was a small quaint establishment with a great amount of sunlight, great customer service and an open area that you can order food. I would definitely recommend that you pull up the menu to view upon ordering your food, that way it can go much smoother. I was able to order multiple items such as the mussels which were delicious, crab avocado salad, which was amazing and the Caesar salad with grouper added was even better. There are a variety of items that you can order on a daily basis. Being that this venue is small, I would recommend that you come a little bit earlier, especially if you have a group of friends. You could sit outside or inside but spacing is very limited so keep that in mind. If you have any food allergies, make sure you communicate that when you are ordering. The bathroom is available, but not as accessible for a customer. Lastly, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for some great food, parking or customer service. It's only though ordering some goods from Root Baking to pick up that I discovered this organic weekly market. Morningside Farmers Market was set up in the parking lot of a tiny strip mall home to a running store. Parking in the neighborhood wasn't difficult at all. There were to my count, about eight vendor tents set up and two of them were produce-focused.  At the risk of sounding like a Portlandia character, I snagged some absolutely gorgeous radicchio from Diamond Hill and striking purple sweet potatoes from Sparta Gardens. The radicchio had leaves the hue of iceberg lettuce but they were speckled with magenta dots. Beautiful! And the sweet potatoes were deep purple both outside and inside!  You can place orders with Root a few days ahead of time to pick up. They also have some extra treats to choose from. The multigrain and sesame semolina breads were delightful and made excellent slices for sandwiches. For sweet stuff, their chocolate croissants can't be beat. Seriously.   Besides bread and veggies, other tents were hawking eggs, meats, honey, chocolate, and grains. Since the market wasn't too crowded, shoppers kept their distances, and everyone was wearing masks. The market is open from 8-11:30 AM Saturdays though some things were sold out already before I arrived. I'm glad I got to explore this cozy farmers market and definitely plan to return, hopefully on a warmer morning! ***NOTE: This market has moved to a new location. As of today, it's now at Morningside Presbyterian Church, 1411 North Morningside Drive.
