When I say this hit the spot, I ate everything and wished there was so much more. Jersey Mike's has been a staple, long before the days of Jimmy John's. It opened in the late 60's when subs weren't yet popularized in New Jersey, and is now especially prevalent in Southern California. Recently they partnered with their first celebrity endorser, Jersey native Danny DeVito - who's also a huge fan of the #13 Original Italian, which is exactly what I ordered today. I'm not really much of a bread person (I know, it's a crime) so I opted Sub Bowl, which is was all the meats and toppings piled on top of a bed of lettuce. It was appetizing to look at and even more appetizing to eat. The hot peppers and pepperoncini peppers gave it that much needed kick. I ordered extra onions and layered them with Italian meats in every bite. Yum! It's such a good idea for those on paleo or carb free diets (which I like to claim I'm on). The food was okay, but the price was excessive, nearly $20 for a sub, especially considering the very limited selection of toppings and accoutrements. I was also concerned about the food-handling practices. A large block of turkey was repeatedly brought in and out of temperature rather than being portioned into smaller sections, which seemed like it could affect the quality of the meat. More concerning, the employee cutting the meat and preparing the food wore gloves that appeared dirty and greasy, then assisted at the register, touched the register and doors, and returned to preparing subs without changing his gloves. I mentioned it, but unfortunately, my concern seemed to be ignored. The overall appearance and professionalism of the staff could also use some attention. The gentleman fixing the food was very kind and cordial, top notch. The ambiance, however, was okay, the space was generally clean, homey, and tidy. Overall, the experience was average at best, but at nearly $20 for a sub, I expected considerably better quality, selection, service, and food-handling practices. Never again! read more

It's literally always something at this one. I eat Jersey mikes 3 times a week. However from the employees to busy having personal loud rude conversations instead of focusing on making my sandwich. To top it off today stopped after work literally 5:30pm only to find out they only have wheat. Now i gotta drive 10 miles in a different direction to get dinner. read more

Just too slow!!! I like Jersey Mike's, but I would not recommend this location. Maybe they were short of staff, I saw three. Parking situation is excellent, Good ham and provolone and white, but waiting 25 minutes with two people in front of me is poor service. No one smiled, the kitchen was trashed too. The customer service here was absolutely trash! It's specifically the young man with tattoos on his neck and arms and is dark skin. As an African American myself I am enraged by this encounter. He had the audacity to look me dead in my face and speak and say anything to me at all when trying to order my sandwich and didn't even ask me what I wanted on there but when the next person came that didn't "look like me" he all of sudden could communicate properly but took me as joke. Worst customer service ever. I came in today around 8:00 to get two subs, and not once was I acknowledged when walking into the restaurant. The girls working were so caught up in their own conversation that the customers clearly did not matter. The attitudes were unprofessional, and the service was terrible. This was a great location with fast efficient service. The sand which was good as usual. The real difference was the attitude and expert proficiency of the crew behind the counter making the food, in particular , "T". He greeted me immediately and took my order and the order of two other customers. He prepared a three sandwiches at the same time and didn't have to ask what we wanted a second time, even after I changed the order slightly mid stream. T was in constant motion and was working the entire time I was there even though the lunch rush slowed. I really give them 3 1/2 stars..... Very glad this location opened up! I was there on opening day and almost every week since! I like subs! Let's get in to the details... Pros 1. They make great subs. I'm a fan of the #65 portabella chicken cheese steak and #13 the original Italian. 2. They have a great smartphone app. Makes ordering easy. 3. It's near my house. I can walk to pick up my order. 4. Staff is generally friendly Cons (why 3 1/2 and not 4-5 stars): 1. Service has gone down since they opened. 75% of my sub orders are not cut in half (I specify this in the app every time) They rarely include the requested extra napkin's 2. My orders lately are not ready by the specified time on the app. In one case they completely forgot the order. 3. Doesn't affect me since I always order on the app, but at busy lunch times they have long lines and doesn't seem they are working efficiently. Looks like too many chiefs watching and not enough workers doing... 4. For the past month their door facing Sidney Marcus Rd. has been in disrepair and can't be accessed. I went into the restaurant today to pick up a DoorDash order, and I was yelled at by the manager, stating that he will not serve me if my service animal does not have a labeled vest on which he is not required by law to wear, and he had a vest and leash on, but not hislabeled vest he still continue to raise his voice at me and tell me what he wasn't going to serve me in anyway when Security got there, I showed them that my dog is registered even though I know I was not legally obligated. Then I had the police come to make a police report because I will be suing them. He told the police that he did not want to go back-and-forth with me because he did not know the law. read more

Jersey Mikes recently opened this location in Lindbergh, and I'm glad they did. In the vicinity there aren't many options for something a tad healthier that's on the go. This location has an entrance off Sidney Marcus and in the parking lot of Target and Ashley furniture. Service is quick and attentive, and inside the restaurant is clean with a modern simple feel. Not sure if I never noticed, but the soda fountain does offer stubborn Sodas, so that's a plus! read more

I have been to this location twice this past week and was pleasantly surprised. I immediately noticed that the interior of the restaurant was very clean. Especially the kitchen area. During my first visit on monday the philly cheese steak that I ordered with mushrooms was literally one of the best subs that I ever had. I spent 18 years working at a sandwich shop so that's a big compliment from me. The subs that I ordered today for my friends and myself were very good as well. I actually complimented the sandwich maker today on how quickly the food was prepared. The staff was friendly as well. The young lady who grilled my chicken sub walked around from the back of the counter and brought me a bag and proceeded to very politely place my subs into the bag. The cashier was nice as well. Their lead staff (or whomever the sole woman was working the night shift on 3/20) is extremely rude and dismissive while the rest are incompetent (handed me the wrong order); online orders are 10-15 minutes late without apology; orders are also incorrect, so if you brave this location, check your bag before you go; this is an independently-owned franchise location, and Jersey Mikes corporate does not help resolve issues--brand image be damned. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. Apart from the location, this place is trash, but given the location, there are SO many better options. Don't bother with this place!
