The owner told me someone once said Atlanta isn't a sandwich city, which is baffling. We are! It's just that no one wants to open a good sandwich spot. Featuring outdoor seating only, this is a charming spot right in the middle of a neighborhood intersection. We ordered at the window and ate out on their patio. The owner is a true gentleman--I'm so glad we got to meet him! He paired my sandwich with a nice pineapple Jarritos and suggested we try his homemade pasta salad. Y'all, this sandwich was on another level. We got the Jack's Fish Market, and it was freshly made and uniquely good. I can't say I have ever had a sub quite like it. It's going right up there with the Korean cheesesteak from Fred's and Hattie B's hot chicken sandwich as one of my favorite ATL sandwiches. I split it alongside the pasta salad, and that was more than enough food. Bottom line: if you live in ATL and haven't been here yet, shame on you. From the moment I called in, his customer service was top tier. Professional, warm, and intentional. He made sure my order was right, sent a quick payment link so things moved efficiently, and had everything ready by the time I arrived. That's how you run a business. When I pulled up, he greeted me with a smile, brought my food out, and confidently told me I was going to enjoy it and he was absolutely right. I originally planned to grab my food and go, but his energy made me slow down, sit, pray, and actually enjoy the moment. I asked for a lime Jarritos, and he recommended pineapple instead to pair with the jerk seasoned wild caught salmon sandwich. That recommendation was on point and really elevated the whole experience. That sandwich hits. Every bite pops with flavor across your entire palate. The salmon was perfectly cooked, juicy but not soggy. The kale had the right crunch. The onions tied everything together. And that homemade garlic butter on the salmon took it to another level. It's a creative spin on a traditional cheesesteak. I'm sure the beef options are great too, but if you want seafood, this is the move. Spend your money literally anywhere else!!!! I've lived on Hill Street for 10 years and haven't ever eaten here mostly because no one's here when I come by. However, I just went by and asked to park there for literally one second as there's an event down the street and I needed to drop something off to a staff member there. I was met with possibly the rudest conversation I've had with an owner or anyone in customer service. I was met with a raised voice, insults, middle finger and threats that he's "from Brooklyn" I think he was just upset because there was no business, an empty parking lot, an event down the street and didn't want anyone to use his spaces (totally understandable), but a simple "you can't park here" or "no" when I asked, would have sufficed. I'm not in the business of bringing black owned businesses down, but his behavior was UNACCEPTABLE. To call a woman a "fat b*tch" and "n*gga" and throw a middle finger over me asking POLITELY might I add, is insane. Everyone has bad days, but a dry ass sandwich (allegedly) ain't worth being called out your name. Keep your money and go literally anywhere else. Do better. Went there around 8pm on valentine's day and he decided to close early to see his wife but promised me 10% off the next visit. Been back there twice after that and he remembered me both times. I had the Sham Sham sandwich and as a Philly native it's one of the best steak sandwiches I've had. It has s not a cheesesteak so don't go in with that thought. It was thoroughly seasoned and savory. The sandwich uses Amoroso rolls which instantly level it up. This is a to go spot although they have outdoor seating. There's also a pull up bar behind it which gives a chance to either work out before or after the meal. 10% off if you hit 15 pull ups. The young man/owner/chef served my meal with a smile and was very pleasant. There is few street parking and also a few spots directly in front of the deli. I called and placed my order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes, I arrived at the communicated pick up time and still had to wait about 15 minutes. It didn't appear he had started my order. Maybe he wasn't sure I would come, not sure but it took longer than expected. The food was packaged well and still warm when I arrived home. I had the Jack's Fish Market. Pan Seared Wild Caught Salmon Finished in a Garlic Butter Baste on a bed of Kale w/ Sauteed Peppers, Onions, & Mushrooms in a sub. I believe I requested it spicy, however it was on the sweeter side. The sandwich was good, I personally prefer spicy over sweeter seafood dishes. I'm not sure I would order this again unless I get a guarantee that it would have a decent spice level. Great food AND service! Owner (I assume) came out and greeted us as we got out the car. He told us about the fish fry special only offered on Friday and Saturday. I ordered The Jack Fish Market since I was in the mood for a Philly and I'm pescatarian. Unfortunately, they were out of the salmon. The owner allowed me to get the Haddock from the fish fry on my sandwich instead. It was really good! That boss sauce though, yum! Preferred it on my fries over the sandwich. Jack's Fish Market Sandwich! Lets start there! I originally stumbled upon the IG page, HUDSONANDALPHONSE, and the first thing I noticed is he had real wild caught salmon on the grill. That alone made me bookmark the video for when was in the area. Today, I ordered online. If you think this is a salmon cheesesteak, you will be pleasantly mistaken. Cheesesteaks are greasy, sloppy, and made with cheap meat. THIS AIN'T THAT! **lets get this description away from a lesser product** This sandwich is neat, flavorful, appealing to the eye, and stayed together after every bite. The bread was not to soft and not to hard -pause. It was cut into four sections which was ideal for me because I was driving home eating. Each time I picked up another section to eat, I marveled and how the colors made the sandwich so eye appealing with both the lightness of the onions and peppers and the darkness of the green kale flowing through the pink salmon. Everything on it was well cooked, it wasn't overly cheesy, and the biggest surprise for me was with kale. I am not a kale fan but pairing it with savory well seasoned salmon, well cooked vegetables, the right amount of cheese, and some good bread im eating it every time. sn: there's definitely something in that Boss Sauce. I added it halfway through (almost forgot I had it) and it took the sandwich up another level. Order a cup on the side to try it. My only regret is that I didn't order and eat it on site because this is the type of sandwich that you eat while its burning your mouth because it is that good. I had what couldn't have been more than a 30 second conversation with him and left knowing his name, where he was from, and that they fry haddock fish on Fridays.
