    Cesar Salad

This is a gem of a find in Flowermound! We are very picky when it comes to Italian food and this definitely became our number one Italian spot in Dallas! We got the truffle , garlic honey bread and we were speechless! The Cesar salad was so fresh with freshly grated Parmesan cheese! The eggplant dish was the cherry on top! It was so delicious that we were too busy eating it and barely said a word to each other. This place is a MUST try! Our server was extremely friendly and took care of us well. We will be back!

What an amazing find. We traveled from North Dallas to meet friends for dinner in their hometown. The evening could not have been more perfect. Please note, I rarely eat at Italian restaurants because frankly, I can usually do it better, but my girlfriend convinced me to give it a try. I am so very, very glad that I did. The food was exquisite and bursting with flavor. I tried all of these dishes and they were so incredibly flavorful. The portions were large and gave all of us lunch for the next day. The house Cesar was amazing, as well as the crème brûlée. Natalie was the best server that I have had in years! She gave us just the right amount of attention, kept the wine and tea glasses filled, her timing was great. We didn't feel rushed and our food came out the way it is supposed to, in courses. I highly recommend and it was totally worth the drive. We will be going frequently.

    Eggplant Parmigiana

I can't really say much about the food except the eggplant parm since it's the only food I had. But it was absolutely delicious and I see why it's a standout! Eggplant was crisped just right and I think the balsamic glaze helped add an "oomph" to this dish that made it special. I also felt like the portion was great while not being too filling (though my experience may have been different had our table gotten bread). The servers were nice and helped us accommodate for our large party. If the weather's great, I'd recommend the patio for seating. The entire area is nice and I believe there is ocasionally some musicians on the lawn next to the patio.

    Odd, charged for parm

This is a mixed review Pizza is above average 4/5, margarita and diavolo ( nice and spicy) - suggest well done Chicken parm is good too, not large so get a salad Great atmosphere Sometimes this place is packed and sometimes it's empty Seems to change staff often Drinks are expensive and hit or miss, better to get a bottle of wine

I really wanted to like this place...The vibe and atmosphere was great, I would go for drinks again. The staff when I went was very slow and didn't really know much about the menu, we got our drinks 20mins later and didn't even get a waitress walk over for about 15mins after sitting down and the place only had 5 tables filled. The food was subpar. I expected better considering the prices. My chicken penne didn't have much flavor or salt and the chicken was very overcooked and chewy. I barely ate it and didn't even want to take it home.

Their Short Rib Pappardelle is one of the best pastas I've had in a VERY long time. I would come back just to have this again. We ordered calamari, pastas, and a half chicken as our appetizer + mains and everything came out delicious. Service was quick and the restaurant had a very chic vibe. Definitely make reservations on the weekends as it filled up pretty quickly once we got there around 6pm on a Saturday. They had a separate specials menu that included some very interesting dessert pizzas, so we got the fig and brie one! We loved our experience and will keep this restaurant in our pocket for the next time we're in the area.

I love lasagna and I've had it in many places. Up to now, my favorite was from Magianos. This lasagna was the best I've had yet. The flavors were delicious. Everything was good, including the atmosphere. Definitely will return for more. The Italian Old Fashion was Amazing !

What's left of the caprese, flat bread & cheese w/honey & nuts.

Perfect place for a casual Saturday bday lunch! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Ordered three starters, flat bread, caprese salad & cheese with honey & nuts! Omg I liked everything on our table!! I should have taken pics of the appetizers. I was too busy scarfing the food into my mouth. Yes, it was that good! I ordered the vodka pasta! I modified my pasta by putting fresh arugula on top and without the chili flakes. I also enjoyed sitting outside under a covered patio with heaters. Will definitely be back!!

The vodka sauce is excellent, and pairs with shirt felt like heaven. The pasta was a little over-cooked though. Service was excellent and prompt. The restaurant has a modern ambiance combine with classic Italian elegance.

Went in for a Saturday afternoon lunch and got seated immediately. The server was quick to take our drink orders and the bartender prepped them immediately. The espresso martini is made with Grey Goose vodka and freshly pulled espresso shots - one of the best espresso martinis I've had! The Bees Knees cocktail had a light taste and was also delicious. Bread is a MUST at italian restaurants...the table was not expecting a flatbread style, but we were pleasantly surprised by the flavor. It was a perfect sidekick to our cocktails. The pasta came out quick and was amazing! Well seasoned, full of flavor, and HUGE portions!

What size are the pizzas (inches diameter)? Are they personal sized or sharing sized? Thanks

They are about 10 inch pizza. However it is a thin crust and toppings are not stacked thick so 1 person if they are hungry could eat it. If you have 2 splitting it, you might want to have a salad or appetizer to help fill you up.

I know my husband and I were a little disappointed at first that there was a set menu, but we decided to stay and begin our night. First of all, the ambiance of the place was great, even though they had extra tables set up for the night, and it was tight. It was still intimate, and such a good atmosphere. Our server was Nicki or Nikki. I apologize if I spelled it incorrectly. She is an amazing server. She was helpful with decision-making, patient, and just very attentive. The food, even though it was a set menu for the evening, had good options, and everything we chose was delicious and flavorful! We are definitely coming back because I've only been asking to come here for the last 6 months, and now that my husband has found everything here delicious, we will be back soon.

We had no idea it would take an hour and a half for our food to show up. And when it did well, here's how it went. My wife had the chicken piccata and I had the wise guy pizza. My wife enjoyed her plate. Based on the last time I ordered the same pizza a year ago what showed up on the table was a sad echo of something that used to be good. The sauce was very thin and to the point of almost being nonexistent. The meatballs were very stingy as if they were trying to increase their margins by short serving a basic pizza. Overall, it was very dry and lacking of any discernible taste. No doubt because it sat in the kitchen for quite awhile, given the unusual duration that it took for our food to show up. I've had better frozen pizzas from the grocery store. It was a very dry and disappointing for something that used to be overloaded with flavor, sauce and meatball chunks. It was a marked contrast from when we had been here a year ago. What used to be a regular go to has turned into a sad disappointment. I'm putting it down to perhaps they had an off night. But we're not in a hurry to come back anytime soon to see if that was the case.

Culinary Mastery in Flower Mound: A Transcendental Pizza Experience…read more It is a rare occurrence to encounter a dining establishment that treats the humble canvas of dough, sauce, and cheese with the reverence of a fine art gallery. Yet, tucked away in a pristine, modern shopping enclave in Flower Mound, **Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza** is doing exactly that. As a connoisseur who has traversed the country in pursuit of the perfect pie, I can say with unequivocal authority: this is not merely a meal; it is a masterclass in culinary composition. The Atmosphere of Excellence From the moment you cross the threshold, the experience is curated with precision. The environment feels fresh, intentional, and inviting. However, the true heartbeat of the restaurant is the service. In an era where genuine hospitality is increasingly elusive, our server, Claudia, operated at a level of executive-tier care. Her ability to balance professional attentiveness with a warm, family-oriented touch, even proactively engaging our four-year-old with a dough ball, was a masterstroke of guest relations. The floor management followed suit, providing not just oversight, but narrative depth, sharing the remarkable history of the founder's O1 Visa, a rare, prestigious designation reserved for individuals of "extraordinary ability." It is fitting, then, that the kitchen produces work of such caliber. The Gastronomic Journey The prologue to our meal, a Caprese salad paired with house-grade bread, oil, and balsamic, set a high bar for quality. The tomatoes and mozzarella were remarkably vibrant, possessing that elusive, sun-ripened depth that screams farm-to-table integrity. Then, the protagonists arrived: The Elisa: A triumph of balance. The interplay of ricotta and mozzarella provides a lush, creamy foundation, while the white truffle oil elevates the profile without overwhelming the palate. The addition of honey and black pepper creates a complex, symphonic finish that keeps the taste buds yearning for the next bite. It is, quite simply, an exercise in culinary restraint and harmony. The Star Beckham: A visual and structural feat, the star-shaped crust, filled to the brim with ricotta and bacon, is an architectural marvel. Removing the red onions allowed the savory depth of the bacon and the brightness of the basil and ranch to coalesce into a flavor profile that feels both innovative and deeply satisfying. The Traditional Pepperoni: Even the most basic offering was executed with technical perfection. When a four-year-old, the most honest of all food critics, declares it the best pizza they have ever consumed, you know the foundation of the dough and sauce is impeccable. We were further impressed by the beverage program, specifically the Mastri Birrai Umbri Blonde Ale. Its crisp, clean finish was the perfect accompaniment to the richness of the cheeses, proving that the beverage curation is just as thoughtful as the menu design. The Final Verdict We left Flower Mound with empty boxes and full hearts, the memory of the meal serving as the primary topic of conversation for the entire duration of our road trip back to El Paso. A "great" pizza can be found in many corners of Texas, but an *extraordinary* pizza is a distinct privilege. Mister O1 does not simply feed you; they transport you. My only professional grievance is the significant distance between El Paso and Flower Mound. If you find yourself anywhere near the North Texas area, treat this as a mandatory pilgrimage. It is, without reservation, a must-visit destination for anyone who treats pizza as a serious culinary art form.

He never made us wait for anything and was very polite. 2 Stars Food: We ordered (essentially) 4 pizzas and a Caprese salad. The Caprese was fantastic. The high quality EVOO that was served with it was very fruity and delectable. We had the classic pepperoni pizza, a 1/2- 1/2 Federico and Meat Lovers 2.0, and a Maria. All three were very good. I like a little more sauce on mine with a bit more "tang" to it, but it was still good. Crust on all were that perfect crispy that would hold up to just holding it from the end crust. 1.5 Stars Overall: Good pizza, and next time we will try the "Extraordinary" pizzas which have ricotta stuffed in them. 4.5 Stars

It's not really a fast-food style of restaurant despite the name.
