Sometimes it's fast and friendly, other times it feels like the staff is moving in slow motion just to spite you. The prices are a little high for what you actually get - especially since this is basically just a sandwich shop, not fine dining. Would I recommend it? Maybe if you're nearby and starving. Get to know what you serve, this is totally ridiculous. Second, comprehend the English language, it was also very difficult to understand the employee speaking, half the time was a language barrier, half of the time arguing about the menu that they didn't understand, how frustrating! It was filthy gross when we sat down, food all over the table and chairs. PLEASE train your employees about what you serve when your electronic TV "virtual" menu is down and not working. It was not that they were just difficult to understand, they DID'NT UNDERSTAND! Sandwich was just OK. The cold cuts weren't actually cold and had that greasy gloss like when cold cut meats are left out of the refrigerator for a while. The place was empty but it still took 15 minutes to make an Italian sub. Three out of the four employees were just either standing around or sitting eating. Let me start out by saying I love Capriotti's - they had been in town and then left for a number of years and loved that they are back...and with fries! I love their cheesesteak and would always get that and the fries. They tend to be a little slower on sandwiches, but I get that because they're also cooking up the sandwiches and fries. They had the best fries- like little crispy potatoes dropped from heaven- think the crispiness of skinny fries, but look like little thin steak fries- so yummy- and now..gone. I thought it was really delicious. Their fries are also among the best I've had. They were very unique and did not need ketchup or other dips. The subs here are delicious. The Capastrami is one of my favorite hot subs in the area. They don't skimp on the meat and the sub combos are delicious. They even have a turkey and stuffing sub, you can't go wrong there! They are extremely overpriced though. I get it's decent quality meat but spending $15+ for a sub and a bag of chips is nuts when you have a few people to feed. Now to the reality: The staff is always friendly here when I have been. They seem to be working hard. However I would see more to-go orders placed online/phone taking priority over guests who are sitting there waiting for their food. Every time I go I need to factor in a minimum 15 minute wait for my sub to be made, even if no one else is in the restaurant. Last trip there was me and one other person with no one in front of us. It took my sub about 10 minutes, but then my friends salad (yes salad) another 10 minutes on top of that. Finally walked up to counter to see what the issue was and salad was sitting there. They gave it to me with no dressing and when I asked for dressing the kid behind the counter said it was already on it (it was not). They're just way too disorganized at this place. and having a sub come out 10 minutes before a salad, how does that even happen. I recommend their food because I personally think its great. But expect to have your time wasted and to leave with a headache if you decide to dine in. I'd recommend picking up instead. read more

M had the Impossible Cheese Steak sandwich and added both hot and sweet peppers. We shared a small order of fries. The fries looked like steak fries but they were flat, which was new for us. My sandwich was bussin, as the kids say. M thought mine tasted better than his. But he still enjoyed his a lot. And the fries are were tasty. The 8" sandwiches were filling. But I can't lie.
