Dear Capriotti's Sandwich Team-- I am reaching out to you today due to a bad experience my friends and I had on Sunday October 13 at the 170 N Boulder Hwy #120, Henderson, NV 89015 location. I had visited this Capriottis before, but only had tried the Classic Italian. No complaints on those. On October 13 between 5 pm and 5:30 pm we mobile-ordered three (3) LARGE Wagyu Cheesesteaks and a chicken Caesar salad. I had suggested Capriottis to my friends as a place to pick up dinner as I had seen the magazine ads and the TV commercials advertising the Wagyu Cheesesteaks. On TV and in the ads the sandwiches looked GREAT. I was pleased to recommend these and staked my sandwich reputation on it. Big mistake by me. When we got home to eat them, we were all VERY disappointed. The sandwiches were 90% BREAD. The steak was good quality but there was hardly ANY of it in the sandwiches and very little cheese also. Basically loaves of bread. As we were set to watch the MLB playoffs on TV, it put a damper on everything.  We are all originally from the East Coast so we come from sandwich. Not expecting breadwiches, we were expecting real cheesesteaks like the ones advertised. We felt cheated and ripped off as the sandwiches were almost $25 EACH! Needless to say, I have not been back since and will not, unless I hear back from management as to exactly what went wrong and what can be done about this situation. I did stop by this location three times in the weeks immediately following the incident. Each time I was told the manager wasn't in. They said her name was Audrey. We love Capriotti's. We go several times a year this time when I went I asked for no mushrooms and no salt and pepper. They put a sticker on it that said no salt no pepper no mushrooms however, when I opened it there was all three. So many mushrooms, oh my God so gross, I picked them all out and gave them to my husband, but this isn't the first time they've messed up my sandwich. It was kind of disappointing, that being said the girls were friendly enough and smiled. It's a convenient shop so I'm sure I'll be there again, but I will make sure the order is correct before I leave cause I don't wanna do that again also had the salt and pepper and it's just too much for me. Two stars to get the attention of whomever is in charge. The food was fine BUT ... I ordered two sandwiches online for pickup. My husband picked up the food and when he got home, there was no au jus for the French dip I ordered. In the big scheme of life, this is not a big deal. When I'm hangry and my order gets messed up it's a huge deal! It's stupid for my husband to drive all the way back (which he offered to do) because then both of our sandwiches would be cold. If you call the phone number, you cannot talk to a person. The message tells you to order online and then hangs up. So this is the only way I can complain. Do I want to be compensated? No. But paying almost $25 for two sandwiches should at least get me an employee that takes an extra minute or two to make sure everything in my order is correct. When you pick up your To Go order at Juan's Flaming Fajitas, they take everything out of your bag to show you your order and repack it. Takes less than 5 minutes. read more

The nerve and audacity of people. Listen before I start sounding like a horrible person, the second person I know from personal experience in my work related activities. If I could give no stars I would. This place is absolutely terrible. One of the worst businesses I've ever had experience with. They don't care about their customers or their employees. Why does a business leave only one exit open when by law you're supposed to have two? And when asked why it's locked the manager himself says to keep it like that for cleaning to be easier on them? Yet the safety of myself, others and your employee means a cleaner store/ easier labor on him as the manager. I was very disappointed with my last visit at Capriotti's. I placed an online order at 11:45 on July 20. I was told it would be ready at 12:05. I wasn't able to get there till 1225. When I got there they had not even started my order. The girl who was helping me started my order and then did not add the sweet peppers to the sandwich that I had requested. I wound up getting my food at 12:40. I don't understand why an online order should take 50 minutes to be ready. I've never had this problem here at this location previously. I love Capriotti's but I am going to change locations and eat at the Horizon one from now on. This is the 2nd time out of 2 visits to this location where the cheesesteak meat is drier than a popcorn fart. The workers are nice but they sure don't know how to cook meat. Also, I get the large sandwich and when I ask for a side of hot peppers and Russian sauce, I want the bigger side cup and not the tiny one (seeing as the sandwich is 18"). Also, I know they don't get paid enough (I worked for Cap's so I know), but seeing the vents with a thick layer of dust was gross since that most likely falls into people's food.
