This is the cranberry covered stuffing log that was on top of my turkey.
    Cat I.

I was craving a ham & turkey sandwich. But Capriotti's doesn't have ham per se but they do have another type capicola? So I opted for the turkey bacon club. It was good. We got sandwiches again today. An Italian meats sandwich and The Bobbie. The Bobbie is supposed to remind one of a post Thanksgiving turkey sandwich complete with stuffing and a cranberry spread. They laid turkey chunks across the bottom of the bread then laid 1-1/2 to 2 cups of cranberry sauce on the turkey, (LITTERALLY) then they took stuffing, shaped it into a log and pressed that on the sauce smashing the turkey into the bread. The turkey had no flavor, like salt? No smoked flavor. It was disappointing; especially when I walked out I noticed East Coast Subs across the way as I walked out with lunch for me and my friend. The Italian sandwich was great, very flavorful. The atmosphere is really nice and I am certain there are other sandwiches that will make me happy , but it wasn't the bobby.

My son and I played a game-we turned down State Street and said that we'd stop at the fifth restaurant that we saw-no matter what it was. We were up for adventure and let fate choose our dinner. We were greeted by two friendly staff members who were cheerful and happy to help. Since we were in an adventurous mood, I opted for the Bobbie-a sandwich with turkey, cranberries, dressing and mayo. I also got the sides of mashed potatoes and gravy to go with it. My son chose the less exciting meatball sub. Now, if I was rating on service and cleanliness alone, these guys would be at five stars. But both the sandwiches were really bad. The meatball sub was lukewarm and very bland-I tried it after only being able to stomach a few bites of my Thanksgiving dinner sub. It wasn't just the strange combination and unpleasant taste, but the large gob of cartilage (not fat-this was hard and chewy) that I bit into. I don't like to be so negative-the majority of reviews I leave are positive. But this was a tough one. Maybe we will come back and try something different, but it will be awhile.

My daughter got there right as the workers shut the grill down. She was wanting to get a cheesesteak sandwich for her dad who has just been put on hospice. It was all he wanted to eat. The workers could tell something was wrong and asked my daughter. As soon as they heard the situation, they fired the grill back up and made the sandwich! We are so grateful for their compassionate kindness!!

Wow, I ordered a steak sandwich with tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and crispy hot peppers. They put exactly none of that on it. It was nothing but cheese and meat and not much of either. It was the worst Sandwich I have ever had and that says a lot because I'm not young anymore . Very disappointing.

The original thanksgiving subwich spot! The cranberry and turkey in the medium sized "subbie" was delicious. Would be better if you could get side of gravy to dip your sub in but still pretty good! 7/10

Wish I had a picture to show you, but my jumped right in on the cheesesteak sandwich and my fingers…read morewere too messy to touch my phone. I'm in visiting from out of town and a friend mentioned two restaurants, one a pizza joint, the other a cheesesteak place...obviously I went with the cheesesteak place! I'm picky, especially when it comes to cheesesteak sandwiches...so I had elevated expectations with the place coming so highly recommended. Stepping inside, I was already pretty sure this was going to hit some high marks...it smelled good...it wasn't a "hole in the wall", but it had that vibe aside from being clean. Staff was nice, I explained I was a first timer and they walked me through the popular items, but I already knew I was going cheesesteak with everything on it. It was late and I didn't want to engorge myself so I went with the 6" instead of the 12" and got the fries with it. OK...they know what they're doing here...it came out wrapped in brown paper with sandwich paper (is there even such a thing...there is now) and it was steaming hot. I pulled back the paper exposing this beast of a sandwich...12" would have been too much (at least that's what she said. The cheese was melted throughout the steak...oh my God, this is the only way these should be made. The meat was lean, no grizzle or bad spots, they trim it perfectly for flavor and texture. Mushrooms, onions, peppers...and awesome bread, it was perfect and the first taste confirmed my beliefs! This IS the perfect cheesesteak sandwich and I'm not in Philly...how? One disappointment...the fries are coated...I'm not a fan of coated fries and almost never eat them. I usually ask, and pass if they are, but forgot to this time. I wasn't going to waste them...surprise, they were pretty damn good. I'll give them. 7.5 out of 10 and that's a solid score. So how do I score the Philly cheesesteak...9.9999 because does a true 10 exist outside of Bo Derek, well, maybe Phoebe Cates...Fast Times at Ridgemont High changed my life! So, don't kid yourself, you won't find a better cheesesteak...better get your butt over there and confirm what I already know! I will be back next time I'm in town! Sorry about not having the picture!

Great! I had the 6" Philly with Cheese Wiz. SO HUGE! The sandwich was 4.5" in diameter, approaching…read more5". Can't fit it in my mouth. The meat was good, the peppers and onions were good the wiz was good the roll was good. Tasty sandwich. I am spoiled by Frankie's south Philly's Cheesesteak in Tucson, which was about as authentic as you can get out side of Philadelphia. They ship their hoagie rolls from a Philadelphia bakery. And the way Frankie's puts their cheesesteak together is divine. This was just a half a hair under, it was so good. And it was so big and packed with meat. I couldn't finish this 6 incher. And it is very thoughtful that they provide a plastic fork and several napkins. Moochie's also has several sauces: jalapeño, chipotle, and Ranch maybe? Anyway, they threw in a bunch--and I mean a bunch--of jalapeño sauces and a couple of chipotle sauces. All in all, 7 sauce containers. The sauces are really good. Hardy and full of flavor. It is so tempting to eat this Philly with the sauce and I did for a few bites and really enjoyed it. But the flavor of the sandwich was so good, I didn't want to spoil it. This location on State Street seems a bit older and a hair tired, but still comfortable. There is enough parking and it is easy to get to. The service was pleasant and friendly. I definitely recommend Moochie's. I'll be back to try their sides. That, after all, is an important part of having a Philly cheesesteak. (Frankie's had killer sides.) 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I've been here a few times and this place does not disappoint. Before I review the food, I have to…read moretalk about the incredible service. The owner, Korbyn, was working the front, taking orders, ringing up customers, wiping down tables, checking on customers dining in, and that level of attention and care was evident with the entire staff. Now on to the food. These sandwiches are so good. We know the bread makes the sandwich and their bread is perfect for a good sando. I got the Italian cold cut combo with everything and omg. The giardiniera they top on the sandwiches really round it out. Add a side of fries that come with fry sauce and that's a damn good meal. Casual environment, counter service, went at 2pm and it was still packed. They're always busy and for good reason. But they like moves fast and the food comes out quick.

Seating is pretty limited in this small space, but we still got a table. I thought my sandwich was fine, not great. My husband did not enjoy his at all. We also got fries, which were just OK. Service was decent--didn't stand out in either direction. I think I'd come back to give something else a try, but it would be without my husband since he was not a fan.
