HUGE PHILLY CHEESESTEAKS... This sandwich shop is in a busy Publix plaza surrounded by several other restaurants and today we finally tried it. The ordering was simplified by a chart on the front counter which depicted a classic Philly Cheesesteak with sizes outlined at 5" 8" 10" and the behemoth 18" which was the best size vs price at $22.49. They cut the sandwich in half, which was plenty of food for me and the wife. We chose the optional green and red wet peppers. Took a nice pic of the Philly creation on the sizzling flat grill. We took a seat and waited about five minutes for this beautiful Philly to arrive at our table, served by the chef which was a nice touch. The Philly was absolutely amazing. The meat was cut thin and retained the perfect amount of juice surrounded by the gooey cheese. The red peppers were spicy so buyer beware. This was a top 3 Philly for me. The bathroom had nice white tiled walls and cement industrial weathered flooring. The picture on the wall displayed people on the beach holding Capriotti's sandwiches and drinks. The only issue was the door to the men's bathroom would not lock and the women's bathroom did not have toilet paper, although both very clean. The strength of the sandwich and the counter girl, Jesse's personality, will push this rating to five stars. read more

We were greeted instantly by Mary the cashier while we stood in line to order. I ordered the famous Bonnie sandwich which is like a Thanksgiving dinner in a warm bun. I did a half of a chicken balsamic salad too, but it's not a Panera size half. It's a full salad. It's amazing. My date ordered a half a capastrami which was actually my favorite. It has pastrami and coleslaw and some other stuff on it. We shared. He also had tomato bisque soup which he loved. (I only like it with grilled cheese) The shop is super cute and instagramable. Italian subs are our favorite so we are harsh critics, and their Grilled Italian was the best Italian we've ever had! When walking in we were greeted by the friendly staff! This sandwich shop is bright, clean, and has lots of seating for you or your family! My guest and I tried the 24k Gold Forbes French Dip made from 100% snake river farm wagyu. The presentation was awesome! It came out on a huge gold plate arch display! Had an amazing experience visiting Capriotti's in plantation! Upon walking in I was immediately greeted and helped. The staff was incredibly friendly. I ordered the Bobbie and wow was it incredible. Came in for the first time with my dad to have lunch on a week day right at 12pm. It was not busy while I came in but it quickly packed up. Service was fast and friendly. We both went with the cheesesteak small , but I added chipotle ranch to mine. The bread was so soft and fluffy, the steak was well seasoned and overall I loved my sub. There was very little meat in both turkey sandwiches and the turkey was a bit dry. The steak had some meat in it, but it was extremely dry. The biggest issue is the bread. The bread is horrible. It's like this large Publix hotdog bun. There is no chew and no flavor. And there is so much bread it's insane. The bread to meat ratio is way off. I found this place right here on Yelp while I was looking for a place to go for dinner. Finally, something new. We went for lunch. We got there at a good time. The place was empty, but that didn't last long. We ordered three different sandwiches and an order of fries. My daughter had a small classic meatball sub. Other than it could have used some more cheese, she really enjoyed it. My wife, she had an impossible cheese steak sub. She said it tasted way better than it looked. And the bread was so good. As for me, I had a grilled chicken parmesan sub. I enjoyed it, but to me, it seemed more like a chicken philly with sauce on top. Even though it had cheese melted in it. I think some cheese melted on the top, and some sauce mixed in with the chicken would have made it seem mowe like a chicken parmesan. Don't get me wrong, it was good, especially the bread. It's soft and it tastes good. I think my favorite thing was the fries. They were sliced thin like a potato chip but still thick enough to be a French fry. We're they good! The cashier at the register was very patient as we decided on our order. Our sandwiches were made quickly, arriving to our table nice and hot. I ordered the American Wagyu Cheese Steak, my son ordered the Wagyu French Dip, and my husband ordered the BBQ Chicken Cheese Steak. Everything smelled delicious. There was no talking until the food was completely devoured. The BBQ Chicken Cheese Steak was the most visually appealing as it was topped with coleslaw, bbq sauce, and crispy cheddar onions. On my next visit I will try something with more filling. My American Wagyu Cheese Steak was flavorful and fresh as it was prepared with mushrooms, onions, and white American cheese. I definitely stole my son's Au Jus sauce once he finished his Wagyu French Dip. We didn't drive off before my son stated that he would like to return. Major compliment coming from him! Stopped by this Monday after a long day of school to grab dinner, and I had a great experience! The place is newly opened, and the inside is nice and clean, and decorated nicely. The manager rang me up and she was extremely helpful and helped me decide what to order. She was patient as I asked about the menu and made my experience really pleasant, as I had never been before! I got the french dip, and it was delicious. A huge serving, and the portion of meat was generous. I ate it at the restaurant so it was fresh and hot, and it was just what I needed after a long day. The service was pretty quick as well. They assemble the sandwich when you order but it didn't take long at all. This place has a menu I think is just right in size for a sandwich shop. Their claim to fame are their cheesesteak sandwiches and a sandwich called "The Bobbie". Do they have other sandwiches? Yes. I just gravitated towards what they're "known for" first. Their sandwiches can be ordered in sizes of "half" which they claim is about 5", small which is about 8", medium which is about 10", or large which is 18". I ordered 2 small size sandwiches. The cheesesteak- delicious! It was sliced steak with mushrooms, onions, white American cheese, and choice of hot or sweet peppers- I got sweet this time. It was a very tasty sandwich! My only critique is that I was expecting the beef to be sliced much thinner. Being from Chicago, I like the thin sliced shaved style beef. And I was sort of expecting that. And even though the beef was sliced thicker, it still had great flavor all around! My 2nd sandwich was their "The Bobbie" sandwich. This, as I understood, is their flagship sandwich if you will. It's a shredded turkey sandwich, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo on a sandwich. And my friends, it was delicious!!!! It sounds very festive Thanksgiving and indeed it can bring you there. For me I really only eat Thanksgiving style foods at Thanksgiving. And once a year is good for me. However, eating "The Bobbie" has converted me! This sandwich- there's just something about it that is so perfectly balanced and does not have the stronger flavors of Thanksgiving, but still feels like a warm hug, that is beyond words fantastic and has admittedly converted me to wanting to eat this sandwich anytime and anywhere! I highly recommend it! Other additional details: you can order on line. They offer meal combos., salads, sandwiches, even sandwich fillings on top of French fries! Pricing compared to a pub sub is a little more expensive. But I think worth it. They also offer catering for office settings or parties. I will probably be back later this week or next! read more
