There is absolutely nothing wrong with this place and I recommend everybody to stop what they're doing and try to immediately. The design and interior of the restaurant is very interesting, going with a very minimalistic approach with a few tables scattered around. We decided to get food to go and I ordered a gyro Platter. The pricing was relatively decent with the meal being about $25, if I remember correctly, and definitely worth the price because I had a ridiculous amount of food left over. The to-go container felt like it weighed about 5 lb filled with the meet, salad, and pita bread. The salad was very fresh and crispy and the olives were amazing! The pita bread was the perfect softness and was delicious with a Tzatziki sauce. The star of this dish was definitely the meat, I have never had such flavorful and tender gyro meat in my life, in my opinion! Was craving greek food lately and searched up places in the area. This place had lots of options to choose from so I decided I could pick up some lunch from here. The inside was spacious, quiet and very clean. I placed an order for a chicken platter with a side of fries and rice. Was told it would take about 10 minutes for them to make but honestly was about 5 minutes of a wait! Coming home I ate my food and they are extremely generous with the sheer amount of food they pack in! I was surprised and extremely happy given I hadn't eaten all day. The platter also comes with tzatziki as well as a few pieces of pita. Both the sauce and pita complimented the chicken very well. I would have eaten the whole meal in one sitting if I hadn't stopped myself! The Gyro Grill is located in a busy plaza but you can usually find parking. The spot has a handful of dine-in tables. Service is friendly & helpful. I ordered a gyro with fries to-go. They stuffed the gyro to much for my taste. It was more like a taco than a gyro as there was no way to roll it up it was so full. I ended up eating it with a knife and fork. The place is excellent, i lve never had a bad meal from them and I've been ordering on/off since 2019/20. They are pricey but the food is fresh restaurant quality. Iit doesn't taste like fast food despite it being ready in 10 minutes. Their portions on certian items are generous. Here ive pictured the chicken pita. Hard to see but under that lettuce there is a sea of chicken. Ive also tried the platters,chicken philly and the greek burger and they are all great. The freshness of their food cannot be understated l, even the fries always have the nicest crunch to them. I visited because my hair stylist is a few doors down and the employees there all say they really enjoy the Gyro Grill. Today I had to get my hair cut late in the day and decided to stop there for dinner. The menu is limited. You've got your choice of traditional gyro meat (beef and lamb combination), grilled chicken, falafel. You can then get these items on a salad, in a gyro wrap, on a platter served with some sides, or on top of fries. Then there are some cheesesteak options menued as well. And that pretty much sums up the menu. And that's ok! Because while the menu sounds limited, what I got was extremely flavorful and tasty and done well! I chose traditional gyro meat on a pita with lettuce and onions and tzatziki sauce. I upgraded mine to a meal deal with fries and a beverage. The ambiance is the only thing that unfortunately lacks. Yes, this is a takeout joint. However, it's bland inside- they have beige tile floors, white/light beige walls, brown and beige tables and chairs, and a few pictures of the blue and white buildings in Greece. When my order was ready, left and got into my car and had to open the container because the fries smelled so good- I couldn't resist sampling a fry. They were crinkle style fries perfectly seasoned with the right amount of salt and oregano. They were actually addicting with the oregano! I found myself continually snacking on the fries on the way home. Then I finally got home to try the gyro. Packed full of meat and toppings! I loved their gyro meat! It was not too gamey at all. I hate gyro meat that is gamey. And well I hate lamb because it's too gamey for me. But their blend of beef and lamb helped with almost eliminating that gamey flavor. I am sure there was some gaminess, but it was not overwhelming, or even really there so much that I was even able to detect. Yes, this place has my stamp of approval for sure! I am really happy I found this spot as it is pretty new. I placed an order through Uber Eats and honestly I think I only waited for about 30 minutes before I received it. One thing I want to point out that really made me happy was the fact that they sealed the bag with a tamper-resistant seal as well as tied it up so you know it was not opened. This is a great idea that all restaurants should utilize. I ordered the Veggie Wrap and also the Spinach Pie which is also known as Spanakopita. They have about six tables, definitely room for more if they wanted but it also ensures you don't have to be right up against someone else while eating since they're spaced out. I came here last week during the COVID pandemic. There are very few tables available for indoor seating at the moment. They are spaced a good distance from each other. I ordered my typical gyro platter and it was as amazing as I remembered. The portions were good for the price! I don't care much for the fries. This time I finally got the Baklava cheese cake! It was a little smaller than I imagined. The cheesecake portion was heavenly. The baklava portion was good. It's a unique combination to try.
