    Meatball sub
    Javier S.

Mostly good sandwich. I had been here once before and had the Italian sandwich. It was delicious; fresh meat, good bread (4-'s). I thought I would try my usual favorite this time and get a meatball sub. The bread wasn't toasted on the inside, so the sauce soaked up quickly making the bread mushy. The meat and sauce needed some seasoning, it was kind of bland (2-'s). I'll still come back for other sandwiches, but for me I'll not order the meatball sub again. The service is great. The owner and other staff are really friendly and the service is quick. The ambiance is nice, like a better dressed up Firehouse Subs. They have big pictures of all their sandwiches all over the walls which is great for those who are more visual.

Have heard great things about this place. Everyone is friendly when you walk in. But... the wait. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak and I ordered the grilled Italian sub. Over a 25 minute wait. We saw people that came in after us get their sandwiches and leave. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and it was very filthy. I felt like I was in a gas station bathroom. So sad because this place is very well known for their sandwiches. The food.. I wish I can give a better review. But my Italian sub was not at all what I expected. And I got sick after eating it. The naked fries were cold. And oversalted. My husband's Philly cheese steak was very flavorful and delicious. But there was more bread than anything else. Like I said, my friends raved about it, but I was definitely not a fan. My first impression was not a good one.

This was a very unfortunate experience! I cannot recommend dining here. I ordered a turkey sandwich. In the first bite I bit down on a big hard piece of bone. It could have broken my tooth or worse been swallowed. I looked inside the sandwich and the was also shredded very hard skin. Lots of it! Really gross and inedible. Not to mention a safety risk! I called the restaurant and I was told they try not to have that happen but sometimes it does, WHAT!!! They serve something they know is a risk on a regular basis? Maybe they should prepare the turkey another way that is safe? Like slicing it? I also asked for a refund as I had one bite of a sandwich that was close to $20 with tip. The person on the phone said her manager would have to call me back. This was after she already told me she was the manager. I have heard nothing back. I try to only leave positive Yelp reviews or I just don't leave one. This review is my exception. I feel compelled to warn others not to risk their safety on the turkey sandwich at this business. They really need to make a big correction in their business practices. I hope they do.

The Hot Bobbie , nothing but great sandwiches. Gonna become a regular here for sure .

Half Sub and Half Salad - Cheesesteak and chopped salad. So good!!

First visit while visiting the Palm Springs area. Looks like they just recently opened and the crowd was huge. Food is outstanding - best Cheesesteak from a sandwich shop I've had. Better than Lenny's and Jersey Mike's. Real steak (not sliced lunch meat), peppers, mushrooms on a fresh baked roll. I had the Buy two 1 a 5" cheesesteak and small chopped salad. It was delicious! I'm just sad that we don't live in a location that has a Capriottis. The service was friendly, but it took a long time to order and even longer to be served. Hopefully wait times will be better after the novelty of a new place wears off. In the meantime, I would order ahead.

After months of waiting it's Open!!!!! Was greeted by the team when you walk thru the door and was greeted with a genuine smile by Ryan who took my order at the register! Today I believe is their Grand Opening and people kept walking in! Place is nice inside! Have plenty of tables to enjoy your sandwich! I got mine to go but tried the Half CheeseSteak and Half Classic Club! Cheesesteak was amazing! Classic Club is simple and delicious! Can't wait to go back and try more sandwiches!

The American Wagyu Club was amazing!
    Smalls D.

Went to Caps soft opening and they did not disappoint! Ryan and the team were so welcoming and friendly. Excellent customer service. The restaurant has a spacious seating area. Very clean family friendly atmosphere. High quality ingredients including Butterball turkey that's been slow roasted for 12hrs and American Wagyu beef. They offer Vegan options too! Everything is fresh, made to order. We highly recommend you to stop in!

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

Got it with cole slaw instead of sauerkraut. Top notch. Soup and sandwich were both excellent. I went with the Club. Solid. Daughter also grabbed the strawberry shortcake. This was just ok. Service was good and pricing is fair. They have the same stuff as the larger Palm Springs location. Small parking lot. Bakery counter. Good stuff.

Massive parking lot with tons of parking, we checked out menus at 5 or 6 near by spots and saw a worker from near eating from here. Simple straight forward mom and pop type shop. Typically, a place a would not get pastrami, asked the waiter and he said it was his favorite. Ok, now Im gonna have to try it. Mixed it up and did it Rueben style with house chips. Seriously one of the BEST pastrami sandwiches I have had. My wife had some and thought the same and my mom tried it and she was amazed. This lil spot knows how to make pastrami. and the House chips were pretty over the top too. 122 mile drive for us but might have to venture back for a great pastrami sandwich. Moms salad was also good, massive and we share it and still didnt finish it. Young lady came in and remembered this crew from way back too and that was cool to see. Lots of TVs, good amount of seating and great service. If your out for an event or lucky enough to be a local this spot is worth checking out and if you love pastrami its a MUST.
