Have heard great things about this place. Everyone is friendly when you walk in. But... the wait. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak and I ordered the grilled Italian sub. Over a 25 minute wait. We saw people that came in after us get their sandwiches and leave. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and it was very filthy. I felt like I was in a gas station bathroom. So sad because this place is very well known for their sandwiches. The food.. I wish I can give a better review. But my Italian sub was not at all what I expected. And I got sick after eating it. The naked fries were cold. And oversalted. My husband's Philly cheese steak was very flavorful and delicious. But there was more bread than anything else. Like I said, my friends raved about it, but I was definitely not a fan. My first impression was not a good one.

This was a very unfortunate experience! I cannot recommend dining here. I ordered a turkey sandwich. In the first bite I bit down on a big hard piece of bone. It could have broken my tooth or worse been swallowed. I looked inside the sandwich and the was also shredded very hard skin. Lots of it! Really gross and inedible. Not to mention a safety risk! I called the restaurant and I was told they try not to have that happen but sometimes it does, WHAT!!! They serve something they know is a risk on a regular basis? Maybe they should prepare the turkey another way that is safe? Like slicing it? I also asked for a refund as I had one bite of a sandwich that was close to $20 with tip. The person on the phone said her manager would have to call me back. This was after she already told me she was the manager. I have heard nothing back. I try to only leave positive Yelp reviews or I just don't leave one. This review is my exception. I feel compelled to warn others not to risk their safety on the turkey sandwich at this business. They really need to make a big correction in their business practices. I hope they do.

The Hot Bobbie , nothing but great sandwiches. Gonna become a regular here for sure .

Half Sub and Half Salad - Cheesesteak and chopped salad. So good!!

First visit while visiting the Palm Springs area. Looks like they just recently opened and the crowd was huge. Food is outstanding - best Cheesesteak from a sandwich shop I've had. Better than Lenny's and Jersey Mike's. Real steak (not sliced lunch meat), peppers, mushrooms on a fresh baked roll. I had the Buy two 1 a 5" cheesesteak and small chopped salad. It was delicious! I'm just sad that we don't live in a location that has a Capriottis. The service was friendly, but it took a long time to order and even longer to be served. Hopefully wait times will be better after the novelty of a new place wears off. In the meantime, I would order ahead.

After months of waiting it's Open!!!!! Was greeted by the team when you walk thru the door and was greeted with a genuine smile by Ryan who took my order at the register! Today I believe is their Grand Opening and people kept walking in! Place is nice inside! Have plenty of tables to enjoy your sandwich! I got mine to go but tried the Half CheeseSteak and Half Classic Club! Cheesesteak was amazing! Classic Club is simple and delicious! Can't wait to go back and try more sandwiches!

The American Wagyu Club was amazing!

Went to Caps soft opening and they did not disappoint! Ryan and the team were so welcoming and friendly. Excellent customer service. The restaurant has a spacious seating area. Very clean family friendly atmosphere. High quality ingredients including Butterball turkey that's been slow roasted for 12hrs and American Wagyu beef. They offer Vegan options too! Everything is fresh, made to order. We highly recommend you to stop in!

When this place opened they were SPOT ON. Food was fresh and standards were high. Now they have unfortunately fallen into the "i dont care just give me your money" business. The past few times I have been, my sandwiches were poorly made and it is OBVIOUS no one is adhering to corporate standards. Today I placed an order on capriottis.com and arrived to pick up my order at the designated time. The girl handling the pick up counter was totally clueless when I gave her my name. There were only a couple of other peiple in the store waiting, and there were 3 employees behind the counter. She seemed to be overwhelmed and was juggling what appeared to be a dozen or so tickets in her hand, trying to figure out what order she was working on. I sat in the restaurant for 25 minutes, watching, waiting...as other peiple came and went with their orders. I even watched as some man complained about the lack of pastrami on his sandwich (a problem I have had to deal with myself at this location) while the employees looked at him like he was crazy and even had the nerve to say "that's how we make it". FINALLY the lady at the pick-up looks at me and says "what's your name" and then proceeds to start to bag my order...all 3 of my sandwiches have been SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER THE ENTIRE 25 MINUTED I HAD BEEN SITTING IN THE STORE. Then she had the nerve to shove cold french fries in my bag (say nothing about the once hot grilled sandwiches I ordered that were now cold and leaking through the paper they were wrapped in) and hand me an incomplete order...the other once hot, now cold sandwich was sitting non the counter still. When I asked for my money back, I was met with attitude. YOU HAVE GOT TO DO BETTER. YOU CANT JUST THROW UP A BUSINESS AND ACT ENTITLED TO MAKE MONEY! If you are going to charge these prices, you must ensure standards. The Coachella Valley is full of restaurantsand sandwich shops that are proud of what yhey do. Capriottis is jot entitled to my money just because of their location. I will take my business ANYWHERE ELSE now. ZERO STARS.

Hotl pastrami total of 10 inches for $20 .

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

Service was excellent. Seated immediately and ordering minutes later. Got extra cream cheese on request and our coffees were diligently refilled. The main attraction was the pastrami sandwich. Totally to my wife's taste, extremely lean and stacked high. She had to take half home. I tried an omelette with corned beef and loved it. The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.

I especially enjoyed the #14 The House. It's a house-made chicken salad with nuts and cranberries and comes with sprouts, tomato, mayo, salt and pepper on Squaw Bread. The cranberries adds a mild sweetness which balances out the mayo and the nuts adds another layer of crunchy texture and flavor which I loved. If I were to be honest, I wasn't too crazy about their bread. On both sandwiches, it was soft which was good, yet at the same time, just a bit stale. While the sandwiches initially seemed loaded, most of the ingredients are right in the middle of the sandwich where they slice it in half, so while it's very visually appealing, there's basically a ring near the crust of the bread that didn't have much toppings. As far as the Love The Club sandwich. I think they are a bit heavy handed with the salt. The sandwich was too salty. At $33 for two sandwiches, it's also a tad bit pricey. Overall good experience and will be back to try more !
