Live and learn. I won't be back. I ordered a cheese steak sandwich. It was $12.39. That's all it was, steak with cheese. No peppers, no onions, no mushrooms. I didn't see an option to add those. These guys have one of the best cheesesteaks in Utah. It's hard to find a place that does it like they do back east, but Capriotti's does it great. The bread is perfectly soft but still flaky, and the meat is cooked to perfection. A little pricey, but the quality is there for sure. Everything slick and shiny: it felt chilly - even the surface of the table felt cold. The sandwich was served in a metal tray along with a huge piece of paper ... why so much paper? The sandwich itself was wrapped in the usual piece of paper but then there was this second giant piece. What a waste. FOOD: Vegetarian-turkey/coleslaw sandwich; 5". Served on a thick white untoasted open roll, several "slices" of veg-turkey, a little mayo, topped with the slaw. It was just ok. Way too much bread compared to the filling so I tore off the top and ate it open-faced. I liked the slaw but that was really the only flavor. It absolutely wasn't worth the $6 it cost. We loved the food and the manager was very nice. It was our first time so we would have appreciated a little help with ordering. But we were blown away with the food. The Chicken Steak Sandwich with the fresh marinara sauce was awesome. The chicken had so much flavor, the bread was crisp on the outside and perfect texture on the inside. I've been a Capriotti's fan since a long stint in Vegas a while back, so I was excited to find out they were coming to Utah. The good-Here in Utah they use Stoneground bread for some of their sandwiches. It's high quality and delicious. They also cook their meats in house including fresh whole turkeys daily. Do yourself a favor and skip the processed/pressed turkey at other sandwich joints around the valley. Freshly shredded turkey is where it's at. Although the turkey is great, my favorite sandwiches are the Capistrami and the cheese Steak. Their Capistrami is an awesome combo of pastrami (who would have thought) coleslaw, cheese, and Russian dressing. It might sound strange, but it's the best sort of strange. The cheese steak uses good quality meat and is also very good. I occasionally get salads or soup here as well. I enjoy the black and bleu salad when everything is fresh. The Utah franchise owners are often in the store and treat us very, very well! They clearly care about their business. The less than good-Their execution sometimes needs work. I always order our sandwiches the same way and there is often something missing from one or more sandwiches. It's not like I order them with heart shaped cheese or something strange, we are talking tomatoes, mayo, peppers etc (basics). While I like their tomato basil soup I think the chicken noodle soup here is truly mediocre. I would skip it. The kids meals are a good value, but about 30% of the time they are out of drinks for their kids meals and they change what they offer regularly so I am never sure if I am getting juice or something less healthy. In general with the fresh prepped turkey, veggies, and wheat bread I can feed my kids a healthy meal. Adding a sugar filled drink on the side isn't my favorite. I really like it when they have juice. Overall this place gets 4 stars for me. The food is outstanding when executed well, but there are just a few things they could do better. I will be a regular customer here. read more

Great cheesesteaks and sandwiches all around. I find that this place gets the closest to the cheesesteaks I used to get in New Jersey and the east coast in general (provolone, not cheez-wiz). I've been to a couple of Capriotti's that aren't nearly as fresh tasting as this one (looking at you, St George, UT), so it's great to have a good one close. Highly recommend the standard cheesesteak or the Bobbie, both are fantastic. read more

I won't stop until I find it. I like this location and have been a few times recently since I now reside in Utah County and your Lehi location can't figure their stuff out. Last time I tried to go, the open sign was on, it was the middle of a normal business day, and the doors were locked. I go to this location instead since there seems to be something weird going on with the other one. This place is always super quick! I was in and out within a few minutes last time! Gotta love it. I don't know how we have lived within 2 miles for over 2 years and had never tried this place until my dad made the recommendation. I like to think of myself as a connoisseur for good sandwiches, and this place has quickly become my favorite place in the south-west end of the valley because the sandwiches here are absolutely fantastic, especially for a chain. You can definitely tell that they take a very careful approach to selecting meats because the quality is up there with some of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. It used to be so amazing. We used to visit almost weekly when they first opened. The sandwiches still taste great. (My favorite is the Bobby). For the price, the quantity of food is too small. Their sandwiches used to be so full. Last week, my husband got a ham sandwich and it was so skimpy. One slice of meat, one slice of cheese.... that was it!!! I have never seen a sandwich that thin.
