Hey Travis, I feel your two employees working today deserve a raise for sure or another person working to help out with their stacked online orders. As we walked into the restaurant that only had two other people waiting to order the young lady working was extremely polite and prompt to inform us it may be a bit of a wait. We aren't doing anything crazy today and super craving our favorite sandwich the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket, so we are definitely willing to wait the 20-30 mins for our food. While waiting here we observed the two employees busting butt to manage the stack of online orders and the amount of customers that started pouring in wanting to order. Both employees stayed calm and professional keeping customers informed of how slammed they are. The restaurant itself is extremely clean, noise level is what you'd expect, and they had golf playing on the tv to keep customers entertained while they waited. there was one employee who never smiled and was incredibly rude to customers. i asked a simple question and was met with a death stare and an attitude that made me feel like i was bothering her. i don't appreciate being treated that way, and i can't understand how someone can be so unfriendly without even greeting customers or asking how their day is. the floors were dirty, and the restaurant felt uncomfortable because it was completely silent except for the soda machine and refrigerators running. it definitely didn't feel welcoming. the food itself tasted good, but the wait was 25-30 minutes because they were out of so much food. overall, the service and atmosphere really took away from the experience. i would not recommend this place. read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Firehouse Subs location. What appeared to be the "manager," named Travis, was very loud and unprofessional throughout my visit. He was constantly calling his teenage employees over to show them videos or tiktoks on his phone, while several customers -- including myself and about seven others -- were waiting for our orders. It was uncomfortable to watch the young employees try to stay focused while their supposed leader was being so distracting. I genuinely felt bad for them if that's the kind of example they're being shown in one of their first jobs. On top of that, Travis did not look the part of a manager -- his uniform was messy and sloppy, and he seemed to have little concern for the waiting customers or the image of the restaurant. His behavior was loud, obnoxious, and completely inappropriate for someone in a leadership role. If this is the standard of management being allowed, it's going to drive people away from this location. I truly hope corporate addresses this before it becomes a reputation problem for the brand. read more

Placed a mobile order via Grubhub. The initial confirmation email said the expected wait was 15-35 mins. After the email there was no further contact from Firehouse subs or Grubhub. After 30 minutes we called, and they said the order had been ready for some time. I went to go pick it up and had to wait at the counter for another 5 minutes while the employees wrapped up their conversations in the back. When I finally got to my sandwich it was cold, stale, and sopping wet. This is absolutely ridiculous for a sandwich that costs $13+. I ordered online and it was smooth and easy! My sandwiches were ready when I arrived. When we got home I was so excited. They were in boxes which I didn't expect, so often restaurants wrap sandwiches in tinfoil and they are smashed. But I was pleasantly surprised! My sandwich was amazing. I think it was a combination of me feeling super hungry and the sandwich absolutely hitting the spot. Turkey bacon ranch with lettuce and I think it was American cheese (melted)! Want a hot sun sandwich, then come here. I enjoyed the bbq Cuban sandwich. It was so amazing and it hit the right spots. It was busy for sure but they were on top of it. They got got the food out quickly and it was hot and fresh. This is just nice place to go eat lunch and relax and see the cool decor they have. It is made by blue collar firehouse men. Between my two subs ordered I got a mix of the item between themselves. There's something special about these sandwiches that always makes me want to come back again and again. Is it the service? Maybe-every time I go in here, I'm greeted "welcome to firehouse" and the employees make eye contact and smile. That goes a long way. Is it the quick ordering and turnaround of getting my meal? Perhaps-I don't have to wait long before my sandwich-made to my liking-is ready. Or is it the sandwich itself? I just walked out, with no sandwich. THAT is how bad their customer service is and how much I wanted to leave. I would rather not eat than wait, even longer. We are a firefighter family so I thought this would be fun to try. First time so I was a little confused on where to order. After 10 minutes, and the girl who paid after me had her sandwich and left, I asked if I had missed my order. They said no and that she was online order (okay - cool). He said, "not you, him." And pointed at the man that had just walked in, with his online order. I think they must prioritize online ordered and in person orders get pushed back. This location is a complete mess. They have no idea what they're doing when it comes to taking orders over the phone/web/in person. No one was paying attention to the web orders that came in, so when they were taking walk up orders, those people were put at the head of the line. When they realized they had a long line of orders that came in, they freaked out and told everyone it was an extra 15 minutes because of an influx of orders. I put mine in at 12:20, to be expected for pick up at 12:35, and finally got it around 12:50. Overall, they seemed very unorganized and unapologetic for any additional wait. Came in to pick up an online order at 6:45pm on 2/2/23. Several customers in the store and only 1 male employee working. The one young man working was making all the sandwiches. Another taller young man was standing at the register. There were three female employees, standing around drinking Swig, talking loudly with each other. Then they started running around, hiding in the bathrooms, yelling through the doors and banging on the bathroom doors. It looked as though one girl had taken another girl's phone. It seemed pretty wild that several people were waiting for their orders and these girls didn't have a care about the customers at all. It was pretty off putting. None of them had name tags on, but the only kid actually working asked "Evelyn" if he could take his break. The difference is, they STEAM THE MEAT. Great place to stop by with the family or friends for a sandwich that is much better than other fast food joints. The menu is really easy to read, and the pictures help out a bunch. They have good options for kids, and mine mixing up a crazy drink at the soda dispenser.
