Fuy a Capris Pizza a eso de las 10pm y ordene una pizza de peperoni, jamon, bacon y doble queso. le indique a la cajera que una vez terminada la pizza pusieran un poco de BBQ salsa por encima de la pizza. ella me indico q ellos no hacian eso. le indique q podia cobrarmelo como un extra si queria. Esta acsede y antes de q ella fuera donde el cocinero le indique que por favor era no mas que una poquita de BBQ salsa unas pinceladas o just a little Splash que no hechara el pote por encima ya que la dañaria. espere alrededor de 35min por ella y me fuy a mi casa. al llegar a mi casa abri la pizza y mire que habian hechado como un frasco completo Salsa BBQ encima de la pizza cuando le indique que era solo un poco. mis hijis tomaron un pedacito lo pobaron y me dijeron que era imposible de comerla. llame en ese momento pero ya eran alrededor de las 1125pm y la pizza place closes at 11pm. tuve que salir otra vez a comprar comida a mis hijos...next day went to work y luego pase por la pizzeria con la pizza a eso de las 6pm next day y hable con ellos. So let's talk Capri! The Schererville location is the newest and by far the nicest and most accommodating of Capri's pizzerias. There is lots of space to dine in, and everything is brand new and spanking clean. The menu remains: all-star pizza, mouth-watering broasted chicken, flavourful beef sandwiches -- all with such old world South Side Italian personality... whatever you order, you are bound to get a kick of the good stuff. I first tried Capri's at Pierogi Fest in Whiting IN. It's strange my favorite food at a polish festival was pizza but it's true. It was sooooo good me and my fiancee would drive from South Holland IL all the way to Whiting to get it and it was take out or delivery only so we had to take it all the way back to South Holland. So when we found out there was one in Schererville and it was dine in we were so excited. It's in a little strip mall kinda easy to pass up. Cute little dining area off to the right when you walk in and a counter straight ahead that you place your order/pick up your food. We got some french fries too munch on before our pizza and they were pretty good, nothing amazing but good none the less. Then the pizza came and it was amazing, we got our favorite double dough pepperoni. The crust is thick and perfectly chewy with a great kind of sweet sauce and a ton of delicious cheese perfectly melted on top. Not sure what it is about the pizza but it is seriously so damn good, everything works perfectly. The service was very friendly and helpful. If you dine in you order at the counter and they will bring your food to you when ready. Self service fountain drinks which is great as well. The food came very fast and piping hot. We got asked if everything was ok a few times and the young woman came over and talked with us and our daughter who had just seen Santa which was very nice and sweet. She even came back with a chocolate for her which my daughter loved. You can tell they really care about the customer and the food being sent out. First timer - Very good sauce and cheese- a little sweet but nothing to crazy. Standard crust is a little to thick for my taste so next time I will order the X-Thin. Son ordered cheese sticks and he enjoyed those as well. Hard to go wrong with fried cheese though. Good value for size of pizza too....Medium sausage for $13 is not to bad for freshly prepared pizza IMO. Overall I would recommend and will definitely order again. read more

I really stumbled upon this place by accident as I was making the trek from New York to Chicago to pick up my brother. Neither here nor there. Let's just say I left it up to the fates of Garmin as I was peddling through. In any case, this pizza is delicious, crisp and fresh. I'm talking, you just keep eating-until-it's gone-not-that-you-are-full delicious. And then you order another to go because it's a long trip with your brother and no one should be alone. Yeah so I'm a fan. I actually did a search on yelp for broasted chicken near Highland because as easy as it is no one really seems to be able to pull it off. Capri's does, it's perfectly cooked and juicy. When I try a pizza for the first time I always get a cheese pizza just to get a feel on the base of it. It was really good. The sauce was seasoned well, good crust, and the cheese was plentiful. The only thing I would do differently if I managed Capri's would be to get a good commercial fry cutter, (I got one for $30 online) and some fresh potatoes and make the fries from scratch, what I had were crinkle cut frozen and overcooked. It's so easy to do a fresh cut from potatoes, get a nice bowl and season em up and deliver some great homemade fries, it would be an excellent compliment to the great broasted chicken. read more

Went to order a pizza capri special medium on their web site for 15.35 called went through the order then the girl says 17.80 something add tax then 19.20 for a 13 inch pizza what are you crazy? With a large family it is never easy deciding what to have for dinner as everyone wants something totally different. This is exactly why we love going to Capri's. Between the broasted chicken, the Italian Beef and their amazing pizza, they have our family covered. The staff are incredibly friendly and the environment is so welcoming. You always feel right at home. Whenever we have friends and family over we always get Capri's delivered. I'm pretty sure our family visits more often knowing we are going to order Capri's. The Capri Chicago Style Stuffed and Capri BBQ are two of our all time favorites. So between picky eaters and entertaining large crowds, Capri's is always the way to go. Customer for years, pizza is hit or miss recently (especially since opening new location, Ben not there). Pizza was wrong, sausage and pepperoni over "entire" pizza, but should've been half as I don't eat meat, and the cheese wasn't melted. Crust was not extra (×4) thin as ordered. Called, but they were closed. Went in with pictures following day, but offered nothing. Had to wait for management to call, and was ONLY offered half my next purchase. Oops... This place was going to get a 3-star review. I mean, it's very slightly above average pizza. I'm sure if you live in NW Indiana, you may think it's significantly above average. I stopped in, grabbed a sausage pizza and I knew that I'd be taking most of it to work tomorrow. So, after enjoying a little less than half of the pizza, one of the girls took it to wrap it. How nice, I thought. Problem. She let 3 pieces slip off of the edge and fall on the floor. I saw here grab them briskly, pause, realize I was behind her, then dump them in the garbage. I don't know if she thought I did not see this, but it was never addressed. I guess.. I forfeit those pieces of pizza? A simple, "let me get you something in lieu of those pieces (a few breadsticks)" would have been fine. I probably would have said no thanks since I didn't want to wait, but for it not to even be addressed? By the way, people... including managers who might post here, will say, "why didn't you bring it up to management." Not my job. It's managements job not to have someone like that in their employ/to be monitoring them.. management should know that most people statistically simply won't say a word and will just never come back. Thank god for yelp, because in addition to not talking to management (knowing people the manager probably thinks this girl is a great girl) and never going back, I can ensure that others know what goes on here so they don't go. By the way, the girl who dropped the pizza took a phone call she didn't like earlier in my meal, and from about 30 feet away as I'm eating, I have to look at her go off to fellow employees about the guy who called. Management... figure out who you have in your employ. It may just be worth it to pay the right person $2-3 more per hour. read more

Got an italian beef combo for lunch one day. The italian beef itself was quite disappointing, but they did use good bread. The order of fries they gave me was mammoth, and the price was right, but ultimately, I gotta rate this place down for the beef itself. I am certainly a fan! I absolutely love the pizza, fries and chicken! The food has always been quite tasty. I recently introduced my sister to their pizza and she became a fan quickly! She says pizza sauce usually bothers her, but had no problem with this pizza. I am newer resident to the area and I have been ordering from here for about 3 years. I have yet to be disappointed! I always place my order and pick up and take the food home. They do have a smaller area for dine in inf you are looking to go in and relax. The staff is friendly and polite. I love this place, and here's why: the wings. Don't get me wrong, the pizza is good. I don't even usually like sausage on pizza, but the sausage here is good. The crust is usually crisp and pretty buttery. It all holds together well. It's not my favorite pizza ever, but I certainly enjoy eating it. But, those wings. I love wings--all kinds of wings. So I when we first ordered from Capri's, I insisted on ordering a side of hot buffalo wings (there are mild buffalo wings, too, but I like spicy). When I first saw the wings I was disappointed. It was just breading and nothing else. No sauce. What? Breading on wings usually sucks, sauce or no, right? But holy guacamole are they flavorful! The breading is not heavy, and it is really spicy! And I can handle some spicy stuff. There is a hearty amount of chicken on the bones, and the meat is moist and tender. We're getting Capri's for dinner tonight. Good food but I've never been happy with the delivery. Often, my food arrives not exactly "hot". Over the past 10 or so orders, a few have missed delivery times by 30 minutes or more. If you find yourself in NW Indiana, you have to try them. They have the best pizza and chicken in town and surrounding Illinois. If it's the first time visiting make sure you ask for their hot sauce weather on it on the side. If you like things spicy take a chance order one piece on the side and have them drown it in hot sauce, finger liking good! The pizza if you like thin, request it thin as their regular pizza is a little on the thick side. Many other items on menu. Don't be afraid, everything is finger licking good. They pride themselves in customer service. When you visit let them know you saw it on YELP & the "Bustamante" family recommended it! Prices very reasonable. They have pretty cheap food. The staff is always nice. The only thing that I'm not a fan of is their pizza crust. It tastes cardboardish. Nothing fancy here. Just cheap, filling food. Decent portions. I'm a big fan of their appetizers. The mac and cheese bites are a good substitute for those discontinued White Castle ones, and the fried mushrooms are good too. I want to start by saying the lady who took my order and at the counter was nice, but the guy who i am assuming was the owner/manager was not too focused on customer service. I arrived 45 minutes after placing the order and waited another 20 minutes before asking how much longer it has. I was then told by the guy, "It'll be done when it's done." It then took another 15 minutes to get the food. There was no one else in there so I assume my order was forgotten and made in haste and that showed in the quality of the food. The stuffed pizza was undercooked and the dough was near raw in some parts. The sauce was sweet and was no different that store brand canned sauce. I was barely able to finish one piece. The cannolis were slightly frozen in the middle and the shell was flaccid. Nothing seemed fresh. I could take that kind of service if the food was actually good. We ordered the large pizza to go. I think it was the first time I ever had the choice of ordering "thin" crust or "really thin" crust pizza. We ordered the really thin crust with double sausage, pepperoni, onion, mushroom, and cheese. We waited in part in their on site seating. They have a nice place with about 15 tables in red checked tablecloths. There was a regular stream of customer picking up and a couple of boys doing deliveries. The pizza was ready in 30 minutes. It was quite good and very cheesy. The crust was thin and crispy. The price was also a nice surprise, $18.67 with tax. We pay about $26.00 for the same size pizza with the same options elsewhere in town. read more

This place has to have the best pizza in the Midwest. Great pizza for a great price. You can not go wrong with a thin crust cheese. Last time I visited with a group I had a beef/sausage combo, broasted chicken, and pizza. All of them were so tasty it is hard to say which one was my favorite. The best part is that it did not break the bank. This is a brand new restaurant so it is very clean and everything is new. They have a great dining area you can go and grab a table to eat at. This is a family owned business and you can tell because it has that special touch that you don't get with chains like Gino's East or Domino's. Not really crazy about their pizza, but the other food is good. Have had their mozzarella sticks, beef sandwiches, and broasted chicken and enjoyed all of them. Unfortunately, though, this is a pizza place and it is not my favorite. The people on the phone are very nice and the delivery time was significantly shorter than what was quoted (always a good thing). The reason for the lack of stars is due to the pizza being relatively subpar in my opinion and the calamari being the smallest portion imaginable for $9. When I opened the bag, I literally thought that perhaps some had fallen out. Live and learn I suppose. I will be ordering again, but probably just the items I have come to like. read more

I cater from Capri's for every party I throw. The food is great every time, and given in abundance! If I cater for 50, I seriously have enough food for 80.
