This was my first time visiting this Giordano's, and I'll definitely be back. We stopped in to check out their lunch specials, and how can you beat a personal pan pizza and a side for only $10.99? I felt like I was back in the 90's reading for pizza again, so instant nostalgia for me for sure. If you're familiar with deep dish, you know it's super filling, so I only ate half and brought the other half home. I split a skillet cookie then with my family, and can confirm it was pretty tasty with the ice cream on top. We were there at an off peak time, so it was wonderful, not crowded, and our server was great. We loved the vibe here, and it's just a nice hang out spot in general.

Amazing cheese pull from The Special

We craved for a true representation of Chicago deep dish pizza. Our prayers were answered on Fathers' Day! On a side note, I thought and saw with my own eyes, it was filthy or in Hawaiian language, "pilau" for two white ladies before me to only rinse their hands with cold water, not flag an employee to refill soap dispenser, and return to their table, continue to eat, which is a breeding ground for spreading germs and illnesses. I informed and waited for one of two employees to refill hand soap in the women's restroom which they did. At the same time, my husband ordered the following: Giordano Sampler: Breaded mozzarella appetizers are yummy! Enjoyed the cheese pull! The bruschetta was tasty; however, more heavier in weight and taste. Chicken tenders tasted moist. Garlic cheese bread was my least favorite to my surprise due to type of melted cheese didn't complement well with the garlic and seasonings. All four sauces for dipping were packed with flavor, not spicy. Classic Deep Dish Pizza takes 45 mins to make. The Special tasted fabulous! Deep dish pizza featured sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, onions. When you lift the pizza with the serving utensil, you'll get an amazing and long cheese pull. Sturdy, tasty and perfect in weight, two inch thick crust complemented the pizza. My husband and I ate two slices each. Mission accomplished! We packed the rest to go. I managed to finish the rest for dinner at our next lodging. It was still yummy! Outstanding customer service from our male Server for recommendations, checking on us periodically with the taste of our meal, napkins and beverage refills. In my husband's exact words to our Server, "Hands down." Free parking, restrooms, bar, and a few HDTVs to watch your choice of a movie, sports, and/or NASCAR. Highly recommend dine in early for lunch or dinner during non peak times. Otherwise, there will be a long line of patrons trying to get seated at the same time.

My wife and I absolutely love Giordano's -- it's hands-down our favorite pizza joint. We stopped here while I was traveling to Notre Dame and were blown away by the deep-dish perfection. The crust was buttery and crisp, the cheese was next-level gooey, and the vibe was just right. Warm, welcoming, and exactly what we needed after a long day on the road. Can't wait to come back next time we're passing through!

Yum! Love being able to get Chicago style deep dish closer to home than going into the city. We were seated right away on a Friday night around 6:30. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were pretty fair. We sat in the bar area, good amount of TVs to watch sports and enjoy the vibes

Best Chicago style deep dish pizza I've had! All the hype of Giordano's without the insane wait of the downtown locations. Also they will let you call ahead and preorder pizzas so if you're on a time crunch or just passing through you can swing by. Our server was attentive and timely and pizza was great! With most restaurants running $100+ for a meal for 2, $35 with a tip was refreshing.

Buyer beware! 2 orders of fries for $9.50. You can fit both orders in one of these black to go boxes. Ownership and store managers what a joke you are!

Do they care about customer service relations?

I'm not an expert here, as I've only been here once. I don't think our server went above and beyond to relate to those in my party, but she wasn't horrible to the point of withholding a tip. Hope this helps.

Sometimes, when you're out of town for a sporting event for a family member, you need to find a…read morevegan place. This is not always as easy as it sounds (here's looking at you, yelp that still doesn't match VEGAN correctly)! But I digress. This is about food. Or specifically, pizza, dough balls, and calzones. All of which.................happen to be vegan, with an entire dedicated vegan menu. Let's get into the food itself: dough balls: great, but the seasoning was kinda meh. It was basically pizza dough with pizza seasoning, the sauce was good! Something actually *unique* for the dough ball seasoning would have been welcome (see: difference spice options). Pizzas were perfect to me, it was a good thicker sort of crust witout being over the top. The calzone concept was cool but also a bit weird - half was entirely dough. I mean, it was good dough, but I would have settled for a slightly less enormous calzone than just excess dough. Maybe it was a coincidence. I don't know. In the end, none of that is a detractor. Overall, this is a good place to go! I know not every restaurant is fully vegan and I can live with that, but a full vegan menu with options? You have my business!

We went on a weekday so we didn't have to wait - the place is very ample and has a good vibe to it. Not too uppity and not too fast casual, but very comfortable. Staff was friendly and patient. There's something on the menu for everyone here - and the quality is top quality across the board. We started with the doughnuts which are a must have. If you look at the pictures you almost can taste them!! They are delicious and addicting!! All the bread meant we had to do a salad in between to work in some greens. I had the Californian salad which I could've easily had as my entree. It was so flavorful and had a great combination of greens and savory toppings. We did a BUFF pizza and ALF TANNER pizza. I personally preferred the BUFF, but they were both good. The ALF was a little salty to me due to the Parmesan cheese topping. Overall, still good though. We were so full from the doughnuts and filling salads, even though we ordered the small, that we took both pizzas home almost fully in tact. The staff was very nice to us and they went above and beyond with incredible service. I will be back soon!!

This review is long overdue as my husband and I have been coming here for a few years--not…read moreregularly--but enough times to let people know to support this small, family-owned business. The ambiance is cozy and inviting with only 14 tables. Yes, only 14. Instead of expanding to the masses, this restaurant chooses to keep its vision to retain dining as the experience it should be. The murals on the wall, and the feeling of being in an outdoor cafe while remaining inside, is something you don't see much in the area. The food is always fresh and delicious. We've enjoyed lasagna, manicotti, carbonara, fettuccine, piccata (chicken with capers), Marsala, salad and desserts. The wine is served in large glasses so you get a nice serving to enjoy some Chianti or choose another nice Italian wine on the list. The restaurant serves wine and beer only, and coffee drinks. I've heard the pizza is great but haven't tried it yet. It always looks good when another table orders it. Carry out is available in the back of the building. The owner is very nice and will talk about his Italian heritage with a warm smile. This restaurant is truly a little gem hidden behind big box stores. It makes a nice date night too. Make a reservation on Friday or Saturday.

She only checked on me once, was very dry. What is worse after waiting about 20 minutes for her to take my payment, well that never happened. I went up to the counter to pay my bill. She picked up all of the other customers bills at their table. This was my 4th time dinning in, first time ever receiving this type of service. I felt HURT and VERY sad leaving. I never intentionally treat people bad. The other young ladies that waited on me in the past were very kind and attentive. She was clearly having a good day by the way she interacted with the other customers. Lastly after taking my payment she never stayed to see the transaction through. Immediately I took my receipt and left. No excuse for this type of behavior. I will never return to this establishment. Cafe Borgia, service is Top of the line. The owners greet you and talk to you. Servers are OUTSTANDING! Anna should go there for training!
