So rare to find a professional who is willing to give such detailed advice with no monetary gain for himself, and it was very obvious that he really knew what he was talking about. I hired Northeastern Chimney to repair my chimney. The crown was the key element of the repair…read more Seven years and 5 months later, I found water was coming into my fireplace. Long story short, the crown was poorly built and had separated from the brick structure. This created a gap that allowed water to infiltrate the chimney. A well-built crown should last 15 to 25 years or more. Northeastern refused to acknowledge that their crown failed to meet industry standards and refused to refund the $1,100 I paid. They are unprofessional and untrustworthy.
