Favorite beer garden in the area! You walk into a nice dimly lit and cozy bar with a decent selection of local craft beers, and walk a little further and you see multiple refrigerators full of even more beer from local breweries and some a bit further out too. There's a rotating tap changed depending on how fast the tap runs out with somewhat limited seating depending on when you go. It's the perfect spot for a catchup with a friend and the beers are always on point. The bar shares a parking lot with multiple other businesses but if you're coming in the evening time there's no problem parking at all. read more

In the area for work and was jonseing for a good craft beer and to get out of my hotel room. I am definitely glad is braved the essentially non existent California sidewalks to get here(do people not ever walk in NorCal??). I walked in wearing my brewers hat on a Thursday night that the rams and 49ers were playing fully assuming to be subjected to watching these two awful teams play. No longer than a minute after walking in a guy who I am assuming is the owner went back behind the bar and put the cubs brewers game on one of the TVs!!!! Now that is some amazingly observant customer service. The beer here was great, in Wisconsin we are obnoxiously obsessed with IPAs and most craft beer bars have 12 on tap and one stout. The selection here was very balanced with a mix or styles most being relatively local. Prices were pleasantly good, 6-8 dollars a pint. No food here but you can carry in. The Yum: Large selection of craft beers on tap and bottled. Menu changes frequently so you can always try something new here. Parking is everywhere around the plaza The Yuck: Very few spots to sit and space to hang out. Gets crowded during late night so you probably won't get seats if you're with a big group. I came here with a group of my high school friends to catch up and grab a couple of beers on a Wednesday night. This place is loved by several of my beer loving friends so I was expecting a lot from this place. And sure enough I was surprised when I entered. There was a huge selection of beers that they had here. All the tap beers were on the wall and then there were several fridges in the back of the room with all the bottled beer. I got the Mo Mango tap beer when I came and it was very good. There was a slight sweetness to the beer mixed with the citruses. The mouth on this beer is very light with almost no carbonation. The color of the beer is also very nice( like a vibrant yellow/orange). It is pretty refreshing, the nose and taste follow each other well which I really like on this beer. Overall, this place is a great place to chill, grab a beer, and talk. Big selection of beers so you probably won't get tired of the menu. The only problem with this place is that they don't have that much space in the shop so it can get really crowded. We just went on a Wednesday night and it was already pretty packed so I can't imagine how busy it'd get on a game night. They also have happy hours M-F 4-7PM. read more

I came into Caps & Taps after a doctor's appointment in Dublin. It was a Monday (and a holiday), but was still pretty crowded. Caps & Taps has a menu of largely Bay Area-based beers. There's a tap and a fridge with bottles. If you like beer I think you'll be able to find something you'll enjoy. All the good stuff being said above - didn't really find anything particularly mind-blowing or fun about the experience of having a beer here. I think if I lived nearby I'd come here a ton if I was seeking a good beer. If I was back in the area I'd probably explore somewhere else. read more

Great place in Dublin if your looking for craft beer! They have 18 beers on tap ranging from local breweries in the Bay Area to other beers located outside our area. They also have a cooler with different bottles if you want to try something else. What I love about this place is that they have board/card games that you can play while drinking your beer. On top of that they have a couple tvs with the warriors/A's game on. So if your looking for a place with good beers to watch a game or just chill with friends then this is a good place to go. I didn't see any light snacks such as chips or nuts or anything to enjoy with your beer like most other tap rooms have, but I could have just missed it. The venue is small but is perfect where it doesn't get over cowered. There are a bunch of seats and you don't feel crushed inside. Parking is also very easy to find. Well selection was decent and they had good beer on tap unfortunately could not have a beer because they claimed they had to close early due to that infamous excuse Covid. Yeah I get it but things have been getting back to normal almost everywhere and it was just after 7pm and according to anything found on the internet they are supposed to be open until 11pm. Sure Covid is nasty and business have struggled but if they have to close early you would think they would at least post it on their website. Caps is a work in progress. unexpected costs ate into the buildout funds. by my 2nd pint, i didn't notice the cafeteria layout of this craft brew shop.. pour: -sierra nevada stout (6) blindfold hops too bitter black ipa more smooth -firestone walker - merlot oatmeal stout (6). doesn't taste like the other oatmeal stout, still tasty on draught: -sierra, altamont (livermore), drakes have the most drafts here -draught beer availability listed daily on website-awesome! -friendly, hospitable people here -owner/bartender is gungho about doing the best he can to satisfy his drinking patrons. -no food served here. it's ok to order/bring in outside food. read more

This bottle and draft house is pretty special. I enjoy hanging out here and catching up with friends over a nice craft pint of beer. This place was recommended to me by a friend at work that helps pour beer here from time to time. The beers always rotate and it's great to see otherwise non existent beers around. The staff is eclectic and very knowledgeable about their beers and will help you pick something out if you're undecided. The seating is a little scarce at the bar and on the beer room floor, but I understand the limited space. The place has some old wine barrels placed in center to help with the crowds, but are only for standing. I still highly recommend this location. Lastly, the beer signs all over the place have grown almost like moss on a tree or stone. The stickers in the lone bathroom are pretty cool to look at while doing your business. Caps and Taps is a pretty neat place to try out a few beers. I like this place because they tend to have some of the non-main stream beers. It's tucked away on the side of the building so you have to look for it. But it's worth the look. Inside there is a bar area, and a few picnic tables. It's actually a nice place to just sit and chill with some friends over a pint. Who wouldn't like that? The folks there are friendly and helpful. Will I be back? Sure, it's a great place to go. I will be back! My brother took me and my other brother here for a holiday gift. This is one of successful tap rooms that make up the growing successful microbrewery industry in the bay area. I think the Bay Area has a lot of catching to do to reach the status of Seattle, WA or Portland, OR's microbrewery industry but this place takes a jump forward for the Bay Area. This place is all about mircro brews. They have so much on tap that you can sample and indulge in. It is a very friendly atmosphere and it is located within a plaza with lots of places to eat. They have park-like benches inside and brewing-barrels converted into table stands and tables. Lots of places to sit. They specialize in beer so they don't serve food. So you can bring outside food. There is an Extreme Pizza, Thai restaurant, Japanese sushi restaurant, and even a pastry shop within the same plaza. So they encourage you to buy food and eat it here. This is great! This makes it real affordable to drink a lot and eat the food you like. I moonlight as a sushi chef, so I made Japanese sushi at home and brought it here... we ate sashimi and sampled a few of their beers. The only one thing I wish they could improve is that the place had a strong smell of cleaning detergent. Other than that this place is great! read more

Great place to watch the game but will definitely have to come earlierrrr to get seats cause it's veryyy limited. It's pretty small inside .. but hey it's a neighborhood beer garden and it's awesome. Their beer selection never seem to fail me :) and I love all the sour beers they usually have up for tap. I love super tart beer and they always have something that is tart enough for me . A nice little tap room and bottle/can shop by the in-laws. Perfect for a beer-run getaway for a half hour. The tap list is very good for the amount of taps they have, and the selection of beers to go is excellent. Haven't brought my own food in, but I assume it is the case as there is no food preparation inside. That being said, it's basically a bar so the kid stays and plays with the cousins at the in-laws. Super COOL bar where you can get a variety of LOCAL and BELGIAN style BREWS. The owner, Brian, is super nice and knows his stuff. It is in the middle of this living complex (apts or condos - not sure) with other establishments and it seems to be a local hangout of sorts. People come in, have a beer, walk to the fridge in the back and get something to go. They also let you come in with PIZZA from next door (Extreme Pizza) or get THAI food delivered for 10% off and they have GAMES to play as well. Def Recommend! read more

I was impressed by this little windowed hole in the wall. Amazing craft beer to purchase and hang out with or to take home! It's really funny that I've only been here once. It's so close to where I work that I should make it a routine to come on buy your friend a beer day. I tried the Drakes sour beer, I forget the name. It was a solid 9% which is interesting being it was the first sour blonde I've ever had. The atmosphere was very laid back and relaxing. Definitely a place to go with friends or coworkers - takes the edge off. They provide you with snacks ( goldfish and peanuts ) & they allow you to bring pizza from across the street in! I have had this placed bookmarked for a while now...been wanting to check it out since it opened up months ago. I had to check the address and make sure I was in the right spot; I drove all through the shopping center and had a hard time spotting it. More signage please!! I got here about...5:15pm Friday. Plan was to grab a beer and then head off to the 6:20pm of Man of Steel. Walked in, set my purse down on a wooden bench, and promptly browsed the beer menu. 12 taps in total, they boast a solid range of beers to choose from...21st Amendment Watermelon Wheat, BRBC Café 15 as well as their El Oso, Santa Clara Peralta Porter, an Ale Industries and Altamont Brewery beer, a session ale, a blonde...lots to choose from. I landed on the El Oso cuz i'd had it before and remember liking it...though I thought $6 was steep for a pint. The hubby arrived and ordered something else, but I know he liked it too. I sampled the Porter mentioned and it was wonderful, FINALLY someone local can make a good porter! They also had some bowls of cheddar fish out to snack on. The beer fridge/22's available weren't many, but I appreciate the variety. It also has 3 different TV's which is cool. It's all indoors though and on nice summer nights it would be nice if they could get a beer patio of sorts going bc it's so nice out in the evenings right now! Plus the guy behind the taps was pretty nice too; he stashed my 2 sodas in the fridge to keep cold for the movie :) The only disappointing aspect is there is limited seating. But, today I get to sample a few different Belgian style beers. Ok, sampling time. The Bruery's Manifesto (Belgian Wit), Jardinier (Belgian Pale), Trade Winds (Golden Triple), and 7 Swans a Swimming (Quad) - the quad is probably my fave out of the 4. Cute little place to grab beer in the area. I hardly ever come out this way, so my boyfriend and I did a super spontaneous bar-hopping trip and somehow ended up here. The shop is really quaint, decorated with barrels and wood-themed furniture. At mid afternoon on a Saturday, it was surprisingly filled with people though by no means "crowded." The female bartender at the time wasn't particularly friendly to us and barely acknowledged me while we were there. My boyfriend did the ordering so I tried my best to ignore the unwelcoming vibe. After a couple of beers each from their decently-sized selection, we finished our stop here with a to-go cold brew from a can, which was actually pretty good. read more

Are you kidding me!!! This place is Awesome. The place was buzzing with beer geeks getting fresh can deliveries of craft beer. Even without that this place has a kickass selection of local craft beer on tap that is better than many draft places in SF...without the tolls or congestion. They had baseball on to watch and you are encouraged to bring in your own food which many regulars did. I belly up to the bar and chat with many of the locals as well as my server who is very knowledgeable about their craft beer offerings. They go through kegs quickly so it's best to order what you want right away or you may miss out on that beer. Fear not because they always seem to have another awesome Craft Beer waiting to be added to their lineup. This is gonna be my regular stop every time I'm in town. read more
