Stopped on our way home from working in the area. Hostess was friendly and our waitress was amazing. We loved seeing the lake view. My husband got steak and it was seasoned well and juicy. We will be back

It has been several years sense my wife and I dined at the Freddie's steakhouse in Manford ok. So I thought we would give it another try. When we got there we learned it had changed hands. And the name now is CAPS Steakhouse. The restaurant itself had not changed much. The restaurant overlooks Keystone Lake. With a courtesy dock for customers arriving in boats. There is a large patio with outdoor seating. The restaurant appeared to be clean with ample seating. When we were seated our waitress took our drink order and brought a relish dish with a small bowl of hummus, flat bread, pickled okra, pickles, mini carrots and sliced radish. The relish dish wasn't anything to brag about. My wife ordered chicken breast with baked potato and Tabouli. I ordered the Ribeye steak medium rare with baked potato and Tabouli. Our waitress brought out our Tabouli with a loaf of fresh baked bread with butter. The Tabouli had a good taste, but was on the dry side. The bread was very good. Next came our entree. My wife enjoyed her chicken and baked potato. She said her only issue was the chicken was a little overcooked causing it to be on the dry side. My steak was actually cooked medium instead of medium rare. However it had a great flavor from being cooked over open flame. And the baked potatoes were good as well. Our waitress was nothing short of excellent. We will return

Had a solid experience here over the holidays. Cocktails were reasonably priced and tasty. Took a picture of the food menu because I couldn't find it online.

This place does not even great you but Loves To Slam everything on the table. Hate is what you feel when the waitress is near. Place is a Chaotic Mess to watch. Reservation is required and ours was listed for our 27th Anniversary. We have had 26 better meals starting at Waffle House when I was Army Infantry and what we could afford. Arrived 10 minutes early took 20 to be seated by the Bartender no Hostess. Thank god you are forced to have reservations for Dinner. 45 minutes later after we got seated we flagged down the Bartender Hostess to take our order. Our waitress Stacy never came to our table she has 4 in a row and would skip us Everytime! Seems you need to be a Local to eat here or even get service. FOOD: Appetizer 4 star Hand Breaded Mushrooms Very well seasoned fried well slightly soggy 4 stars Wife and I had ordered identical meals 16 oz Ribeye Med-Rare House salad and Loaded baked Potatoes. SALAD Lettuce is old rotten. RIBEYE STEAKS: Wife's is the picture. Medium Burnt to Hell on the outside. She is ok with it. I hate burnt food. It should have never left the kitchen but it was more tender than my medium rare. The statement on the menu is Center cut Steaks. My wife's was a center cut mine an end chunk. Low Quality Beef. Wife's 2 star mine a 1 star Torched as Hell steak. Would have complained but with no management or waitress who do you even talk to. My Honest opinion if you give this above 3 Stars you are Just used to Crap Food and Service and You don't know any better. $200 of pure Sh@$!!! Overall 1 star. Worst of 27 Anniversary Meals.

But if you…read moreare looking for an amazing steak dinner with all of the fixings and a nice atmosphere - this is your spot. While it might be a little tricky to find due to the speakeasy vibes, if you park in the lot on the very side of the plaza you'll see it. Plenty of parking too in the lot. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Jessica who so graciously welcomed me despite my showing up close to closing time. I got to sit upstairs on a quiet night and have most of the place to myself, including the AMAZING salad bar that had more premium ingredients than I ever expected. I ordered the 10oz prime rib which was definitely larger than I expected as well. So tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. I have seen other reviews complaining about the price, but for $43 (which includes that massive salad bar and a fantastic baked potato) you get every bit of your money's worth. I ate leftovers throughout the next day. This was a wonderful experience for me as an out of towner - I really think everyone here takes pride in what they do and what they serve. I was looking for a big, fat delicious steak in Oklahoma and I was overly impressed with Rusty Barrell. Jessica really made my experience top notch - big thanks to her and the kind staff who stayed behind to keep this place open even later than what the website tells you. Must stop if anywhere near the Ponca City area!

So when we had a chance to partake in a large family gathering at Murphy's I was looking forward to the experience. Upon walking in, I was very surprised at the place as it reminded more of an old diner than a steakhouse. Open since 1946, Murphy's looks like it's been around that long. Lined with red leather seated booths, there was no place for our group of nine to sit except for a round corner booth where we all crammed into like sardines. The menu was quaint, filled with mainly diner dishes and comfort foods. I decided on the favorite, the "Hot Hamburger", which was basically a hamburger on toast, topped with french fries and onions, coated with brown gravy. Service was fine given the fact they were packed with patrons when we arrived. The food was hot and fresh, including the homemade french fries. Everyone in our group seemed content with their food choices. The only real problem was how we were crammed into one little booth and there was no room to relax and visit. I would recommend Murphy's to anyone looking for a home style meal. If you're looking for a steak house experience, try somewhere else or you'll be disappointed.
