What a wonderful group of professionals! My father suffered from a neuroma on his left foot for 2…read more1/2 years until he finally got the medical care he needed at UC Davis. The physicians were conservative and had him work through a couple months of different therapeutic solutions until ultimately it was decided that he needed surgery. Post surgery his UC Davis doctor referred us to Scurti Orthotics. This family run business is professional, caring, and ethical. At his first appointment, they measured his foot then created a mold to make sure that the orthotics they were building were custom to his foot and concerns. My father also has a size 15 foot and has had difficulty his whole life finding footwear. He often has to send away mail order for his shoes. So, while we were at this appointment, he was able to try on several shoes, but ultimately placed an order for the right sizing in the colors that he wanted. They had him come back after they had built his customized orthotics and the shoes he ordered had arrived. His second appointment they fit him with the orthotics and the new shoes. On the first try he was still experiencing some discomfort so they made a minor change in their shop and brought it back out for him to try again. He slipped his foot in the shoes and it worked. All he could say as he was walking and smiling was "unbelievable". Thank you gentlemen you've made my Dad very happy and comfortable again.

I have deformed feet. The first pair of shoes were too small, And did not have orthotic inserts to protect the skeletal structure of my feet. I wore them for weeks and they damaged my feet. When the second pair of shoes arrived, the same problem occurred. There were no orthotic inserts to protect my feet. Foot impressions for the inserts were taken. Yet, I never received the inserts. The second pair of new shoes do not work. I called the office and emailed the office with no response. I have no proper tennis shoes at all. I only have one pair of medical boots that I cannot wear all the time. They are too heavy. I don't have enough shoes to live my life properly and get out and get things done.

After spending about 3 minutes with Dr. Wilkes at my initial consultation I was told that I needed…read morea joint replacement in my right foot. I was trusting and agreed to the surgery. Two days before the surgery I received a message that a script for pain meds and antibiotics had been submitted to a pharmacy that I had never used in the past. And I had never used this pharmacy because they didn't accept my insurance. I contacted the office multiple times and was told the mistake would be corrected. Since the script had not been properly submitted by the day of the surgery I mentioned it again, both to the OR prep nurse and Dr Wilkes. I was assured the meds would be available post op. But they were not. Since the surgery was on a Friday (don't ever have surgery on a Friday) I was forced to go the weekend without meds. On Monday I contacted the office 3 times and was told the messages would be relayed to Dr. Wilkes. But Monday evening the pain had become so bad that I required a trip to Sutter Roseville ER. (See attached pic) The ER provider submitted the script for pain meds and antibiotics immediately. After a couple of months post op and still experiencing intense pain in my right foot I question Dr. Wilkes as to the surgical procedure that he had performed. He assured me the "joint replacement" had been successful and that it would take a few more months before I would have any relief. After seeing Dr Wilkes multiple times and getting the same explanation re. the surgery I decided to see a different podiatrist. Upon the first visit this new podiatrist scheduled an MRI of my right foot. Long story short, the MRI did not show that the joint had been replaced. The doctor mentioned that she was unable to determine what had been done during the surgery by Dr. Wilkes. She also mentioned that the joint was "destroyed" and that a second surgery would be required to fuse what was left of the joint in question. There are other negatives associated with my treatment from Dr. Wilkes but I'll skip over those to keep this review as brief as possible. If you're considering surgery with Dr. Craig Wilkes I would definitely advise to seek a second opinion.

The pediatrician recommended pacific medical. From start to finish, we had a very positive experience. We worked primarily with Jo; she is the kindest, most caring, most patient professional to work with. She explained things, was comforting, welcoming and made sure we were on the same page as we moved forward. She was always genuinely happy to see us and excited to see progress. We consider ourselves very lucky to have been in her care. Looking back, I wish I had not felt so anxious and worried about the process, yet, Jo respected my initial hesitations and waited for me to be ready. We went over all the information so many times and she was so supportive and gentle. I really miss our visits and wish she were someone we had to see more often! For parents who are scared, hesitant, nervous, think their baby will be absolutely miserable, this is for you - We display my daughter's helmet in her room and she is always reaching for it and wanting to put it back on her head - go figure! I'm convinced that she associates the helmet with comfort and all the positive experiences she had with Jo along the way. It is not as bad as you anticipate especially when you have this kind of support along the way. The fitting was smooth, and Jo ensured our baby was comfortable every step of the way. We also appreciated the regular check-ins and adjustments to make sure everything was progressing perfectly. Jo accommodated us with our tricky schedule and made everything so easy. Even when we visited family for a few weeks across the country, Jo was in touch, even did some research for us in case something needed adjusting and assured us that we could enjoy a vacation and still have the treatment consistent. Most importantly, we've seen wonderful results and couldn't be happier. We're so grateful for the care and support we received--highly recommend to any family considering cranial remodeling at Pacific Medical of Roseville!

I also found Michelle and the other office staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Before seeing Kelsey, I had pretty severe, continuous foot pain the past 2 + years. Physical therapy did help to reduce the pain, but the problem persisted. I'm not able to tolerate Ibuprofen or cortisone injections so the podiatrists and orthopedic doctors I saw were not able to help me without surgery which I really wanted to avoid. My only remaining option was to try custom orthotics and I'm so glad I did! Kelsey is very kind, knowledgeable, and is an excellent listener. She fitted me carefully and addressed my specific needs when customizing the orthotics in order to ensure proper alignment and comfort. She explained what needed to be done and why and gave me excellent advice re: how to use and" break in" the orthotics a little at a time. She was also happy to have me come back and continue to "tweak" the orthotics as I adjusted to them in order to get the optimal fit. Service was quick and the price was very reasonable. My husband and I were scheduled to take a trip out of the country so Kelsey worked me in quickly so that I would have the orthotics in time for our vacation. My feet have definitely improved and I am beyond grateful!
