I once heard a joke about this place, that they spit in grease to test if it's hot enough.... thought it was funny. But, after seeing a roach crawl across the bags on the table where the pack the food, and roaches in the lobby, I must say that was enough for me never to eat there again. The owner is very rude, and believes it is okay to pick up food off the floor and serve it to customers; he believes that since the floor has been sanitized hours before that floor then it is ok for someone to eat. I refuse to ever spend another dime here. First off they use old oil to cook your food. I also had a horrible experience with them using a cash app card where they refused to refund me the payment they double charged me for. I kept trying to explain to the rude employee or owner whoever he is that the cash app card is different from a credit or debit card where the transaction pends. Once u swipe the card or type the card info in it TAKES the money right then and there it does not put a hold on the card or cause a pending transaction. He was very rude talking over me and hung up on me. Captain Hooks NEW address is 1163 Court St. Catfish is delicious. Large size gives you 4-large pieces with French fries. I spoke to several customers and all spoke highly of food.
