So so good. For buffet with crab legs is $37 a person. It seems steep, but it's all you can eat crab legs, shrimp, & other seafood goodies as well as local favorites. The price is outrageous for the quality of the food that they serve $34.99 with Crablegs & $25 without. It's only a good deal if you're a lover of crablegs, but those are hit or miss with being hot or cold sitting in buffet warmer. The fried shrimp were gummy, baked chicken half done, and fried fish had a hint of burnt grease on it. Very bland flavoring. Our waitress Megan only checked on us the one time when we ordered our alcoholic beverages which were delicious. When we were done I tried to get Megan so I could pay our tab & let her keep the change, but she told me she was to busy and I can walk up front and someone will check me out. Great place for all you can eat snow crab legs. They are fresh and decently big. They aren't cooked salty and it's not juicy to where it makes a big mess. The fried oysters was pretty good as well. The clam chowder was alittle on the salty side. The dessert included some good cheese. Cake. They prolly should add an ice cream yogurt machine. This place costs $30 with crab legs and $20 without(adults). I think the place would of been even better if it had prime rib/steak as well. And for the price, they should include a beverage as well. I would come back when I am in town just for the crab legs. I think the price should drop down to around $22.99-$24.99 with crab legs tho. Selection isn't much for the buffet bar. (4/27/16) Price increases to $32.99 with crab legs and $22.99 without. And the price does not increase drinks. Price for 2 people came out to be $73.00. The tax on food is super high in this time. I have never encountered racism while dining out but I saw it today. We must have waited 20 minutes before the waitress noticed us and longer if it wasn't for a nearby table going up to the waitress telling her to come greet us. My family and I visited Captain Jim's while vacationing in Pigeon Forge. Looking at the reviews, we were a little skeptical but decided to try anyway. The restaurant seating area was a little tight and some of the crabs were a little overcooked, making them a little tough to crack and retrieve the meat. They did have a selection of dessert cakes that the waitress informed us of that is kept in the fridge in the back. The cheesecake was pretty good but the chocolate cake I would pass on. Other than that, the food and selection was pretty good and price is typical for a seafood buffet now days. When visiting the area again I would definitely return. read more
