My family was looking for a Mexican restaurant away from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg traffic and stumbled upon this gem. Boy oh boy it did NOT disappoint! I ordered the quesabirria and it was some of the best I've ever had. My husband ordered a burrito and it was phenomenal! Great New Mexican restaurant in town, a little bit out of the way on it's on Veterans boulevard. They don't currently have an alcohol license, hopefully they are working on that, but my wife seems to think as they are right next to a church they might not get it. The food itself is very good and would be worth a visit even if you can't get a beer. Limited parking at the front of the building, but plenty of room on the side and behind the building. read more

Here on vacation from north Ga. Happened upon here tonight while out looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant. It was SO GOOD! My son had Nachos with chicken, shrimp and chorizo minus the pineapple. I had grilled chicken with mushrooms and spinach. My husband had chimichangas. We loved the rice and beans and the salsa! My husband and I have driven past this little gem fir the better part of a year. We finally decided to stop in and were not disappointed. I git the Chori Pollo with flour tortillas and it came out hot a spicy just how I like it! It qas flavorful and I wish I didnt fill up so fast because I wanted more! This place is the definition of a hole in the wall absolutely delicious. Our family of four was visiting Pigeon Forge and we got takeout from here on a whim, and everyone absolutely loved their food. Ate dinner here on December 29th around 8pm. Lots of trash and empty boxes between entrance to right toward a storage area as we entered the building. Very third world appearance. Server was not very friendly and most of the time ignored our presence. Wife order a taco with corn tortilla. Was not a hard shell, but a messy greasy soft corn tortilla. Did not taste very good. I ordered the Texanas Fajitas for one. The Fajitas came out first. We had to wait a while for the taco and rest of the needed items for the Fajitas as they came out slowly one right after the other, not all together, after we had to ask for them. The Fajitas were very light on the meat, heavy on the vegetables and very greasy. Flavor was good, but again very light on steak strips. For the bill if you pay with cash you get a slight discount or pay with credit and get an up charge. We paid with cash, and was told they were suspiciously out of one dollar bills and could not break a five; hint,hint. Over all the service and food could have been much better. Also after seeing so many 5 star reviews I wonder how legit some of them really are. I would not recommend eating here. read more

Chips and salsa were really good, rice and beans were amazing too. I ordered chicken enchiladas however the chicken was tough. It was shredded, but it was tough and hard to chew. I would try the chicken fajitas. Overall it was not pleased with my meal and a small as it is you would think the owner would come around and check with you to see how your meal was, I mentioned to the waiter that the chicken was tough. Food was excellent. Best Mexican I've had in a long time. Chori Pollo, chili verde and enchiladas with green sauce were fabulous.

The food and the prices were both excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and so polite. He didn't come to out table multiple times while we were eating, but each time he passed by he would glance over at us to make sure we were doing well. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, very comfortable and relaxing. Will definitely keep this in our rotation of places to eat. read more
