Hired these guys for a bachelor's party -- bad idea. The driver got lost, and at the end of the night wouldn't take us back to our hotel despite our instructions (was attempting to stretch the time to another hour mark, is the theory). Then, when the groom-to-be was the only person who still needed to be dropped off, the driver took him -- against his will -- to do personal business in the middle of the night in various parts of town. After the fact, the company attempted to charge me a $250 cleaning fee, claiming we smoked in the limo (we did not), and wouldn't return multiple phone calls about it. I had to dispute their charges with my bank to get the money back. Don't do business with these people. BTW, if you think I'm alone on this, check out the filtered reviews for this place. If there were zero stars, they would get it. My daughter rented a party bus for Prom. the bus broke down while they were at dinner and they waited for over an hour for a smaller limo to pick up part of the group. We ended up taking most of them ourselves. Then, after being assured they would be picked up from prom, they still did not have replacement transportation. All the kids ended up taking cabs. A complete disaster. Worst of all, the manager promised me full credit. Not only was I charged, but I just had to file a dispute with my credit card company because my credit has not been issues for over three weeks after the incident. After a horrible experience with Captain Limousines (bait and switch, trashed vehicle, horrible service, unprofessional driver, vehicle not stocked with sodas as paid for, drivers side panel of vehicle missing, and a run around with their management that resulted in a dispute of charges and Better Busines Bureau involvement...) we can add HARASSMENT to the list. This company continues to send email blasts to my wife that has asked to be taken off their list. First, the entire experience was a WRECK and to continue to send emails to someone that has asked repeatedly to be taken off is just ridiculous and bad common sense in marketing efforts. Here's the last response from admin@captainlimousines.com sent to my wife today after asking once again to be removed from their eblasts. "We will do that . If u have this much problem , u can easy remove just clicking bottom of email , first time ." So typical. This coward has no signature line, no name, title...just hiding behind the admin email and shooting off emails rather than just removing her off the list and letting bygones be bygones. If you want to be mistreated, lied to, aggravated, and harassed then do business with this company.... Do not use this limo company!!! Driver showed up late and I nearly missed my flight. The dispatchers are rude and the hold times are long. Town Car was old and dirty. The trunk would not shut and he kept slamming my luggage trying to get the latch to lock. Driver was sweaty and unprofessional. Driver also informed me that he could only drop at two locations at the DFW Terminal C and not the curbside checkin. I hope this review saves others from the frustration I'm experiencing. The Hummer Dragon arrived with a broken "Dragon" door, driver advised to call in for a partial refund...we did, twice, and their Manager "Karen" advised that they cannot do that. If I could do less than one star I would. The driver not only was late but failed to even show up to pick us up from our wedding! They found ways to mess up little things that I would've never thought of (radio broken, drinks empty, rude driver). When we called the company they told us he was one of their best drivers and avoided our calls and emails. They provided us no value and stole 100s of dollars from us for a service we never received. Used them twice; once to the airport 3 years ago and this year for prom. Terrible customer service on second booking. Used them for prom and they called the day before saying car we booked was in shop for a/c repairs. When I called after prom to report several issues that night (including nonworking a/c, electrical issues (no lights/radio, and driver taking them to wrong location), they took 3 weeks to get back to me saying the boss was on vacation. Then they said I waited too long to report problems, nothing they could do for me. To make matters worse, they told me they called their driver who said everything was working fine that night (3 weeks earlier)! Guess I'm a liar? I will NEVER use or recommend this company again. I tried to hire them for a bachelorette party! I called them for a quote because I have a weird request and the first lady said she wasn't sure so she transferred me to someone else. Who then said that they would be totally accommodating and gave me a quote. Call back the next day to make the reservation and the chick who answers says no there's no way someone said that! I asked to speak with a manager and of course it's her! It's pretty ridiculous that they can quote you one thing one day and the very next day they're confused like it never happened and they can no longer accommodate your request! RIDICULOUS!!!!!! I recently moved to Plano, and a good friend of mine told me to try Captain Limousines for my next airport transfer. Usually we take a car or have somebody drive us, but we were were 5 flying for over two weeks and our best guess was getting somebody to drive us there. Our trip to the airport was perfect, they arrived in a Lincoln Navigator to pick us up, loaded the luggage and we were off, the driver arrived on time, and dropped us right outside of our check-in area. The problem was on our way back, we were flying from Alaska, over 12 hours flight with two stops, the last being in Seattle, the flight was supposed to arrive to DFW around midnight and they told me while booking that they would charge me a "off hours" extra charge, which I totally agreed. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed because the pilot was sick and they had no replacement, so we ended up with a 5 hours delay. During this time, we tried to see if they could get us on another flight, but unfortunately everything was full and we had to stay. Since I already gave my flight information to Captain Limousines, I expected they would see the flight was delayed and pick me up when we arrived, as any other airport transfer I've used (even rental car services) Unfortunately, one hour after departure, they called me to ask if my flight was delayed, and to let me know that they were unable to pick me up (the flight was already marked as delayed for over 6 hours when they called me), leaving me without transportation one hour before my flight that arrived 4a.m. to DFW. Since I was not in the mood in the moment, I decided to fix my problem and talk with customer service later, as the person who called me said I was not entitled even to a refund. After getting finally home, I waited until Monday to call, I was greeted on the phone and that they understood my frustration and that the Sales Manager would like to hear me, but that he was on a meeting, so if I could live him a voice message he would call me back, which I did and which he did call me back; but that's when the worse started. I got a phone from Jake, in a terrible attitude, implying I was dumb for not calling and letting them know my plane was delayed (then why did they ask for my flight information?) and that it was common sense to call them as it's not their job to keep a track of my flight (I still don't understand why I paid for a service then) and in a terrible attitude told me that the best he could do is give me a credit for use within a year for the amount of that transfer, and that in no way they could issue me a refund. After detecting he was really upset I decided to hang up and call again to ask for their customer service line, which the girl that picked up did; since then I've called like 10 times, leaving voicemail as they never answer and have yet to hear from them (it's been 3 days) telling me their customer service is non existent. After all this, I'm pretty left down, I might use them again just for using my credit with them for another house-airport transfer, but for sure I will never use (nor recommend them) for an airport-house transfer as if your flight gets delayed they might not be waiting for you. My fear is what would happen if my flight was delayed on route, or if it was an international flight and didn't have my phone to receive their message telling me they would pick us up? That's terrible service as in no place of their webpage or any paper they sent me says that they would cancel the transfer is my flight was delayed. Even worse is that they won't issue a refund, I understand that if I cancel their service they are entitled to not refund my money and issue me a credit with them, but since they were the ones that didn't pick me up, they should return my money. I wish I had gone to yelp before I tried to work with this company. We've been planning a special night out for our daughters for over a year and I thought we were all set with a limo rental as well. Karen Wellington-Little was communicating with me via email and a few phone calls. I thought everything was set when she ran my credit card but apparently she sent an email saying it didn't go through. emails are not a trustworthy form of communication. I would have expected a follow up call two or three days later max after not responding. Which she says she did but the last phone call I had from her and message was from the initial reservation. This service is completely terrible. I have been lied to by the two girls answering the phone as well as the manager. They ran my credit card for services I never received and the manager has promised he has refunded my card but I have yet to receive my money back. It's $816 of my money they processed and that they have promised to refund but it's been three weeks and I have no credit from them. Worst ever!! Would have been my first limo ride, driver showed up on time to load up, wanted cash before we picked up all the people riding, not a mile down the road we realized the air conditioning was non existent! It was an 80 degree day, we had an hour ride to Dallas ahead of us, and 14 people to get in the car. We told him to turn around and take us back home, we then had to drive ourselves to the concert we had tickets to. Obviously the driver and the company knew before he arrived the air was not working in the back. We soon realized this was why the driver said to us before we left home that we shouldnt get mad at him, hes just the driver. This company defrauded a charity that provides healthcare services to the poor, uninsured and disabled of approx. $900. I won't go into what I personally think of that--any person with a sense of common decency already knows. So, I'll just state the facts. Capital Limousines pledged, as a part of charity package, to provide their party bus free of charge to an auction winner. But when it came time to claim her prize, the winner could not reach anyone by phone to schedule her trip. After trying to make contact for several weeks, she had to give up and seek out another service. As a result, our foundation was required to make good on Capital Limousine's commitment. Before contracting Captain Limousines for any rentals you should check the Better Business Bureau of Texas. As of Oct 2012, they have 15 complaints filed with failure to respond to 9 of those complaints. These complaints range from billing/collection issues to problems with product and service. We rented their Dragon Hummer for my niece's quince court. Not only was the driver an hour late....the A/C or radio did not work. Per their reservation agreement..if there were mechanical issues, they would have a replacement available of equal or greater value. The customer service rep rudely informed us that they had no other limos available and offered no solution. We had no choice but to continue with the rental since this was the only mode of transportation for the kids at such short notice. Obviously, they do not inspect their vehicles prior to sending them out. read more

This company is a complete scam! I ordered a 22 seat passenger white stretch Hummer for a company event and every single last detail about this went wrong because of Captains Limousines! I ordered a stretch Hummer named Ice. The pics online were fantastic. What We got was the opposite...it was Terrible! They sent a trashed 18 seater black stretch hummer with missing parts, broken speakers, not stocked as paid, and to top it all off a grouchy driver that smoked like a chimney... The speakers didn't work in the vehicle, the side door didn't work, the vehicle was filthy. 4 of our team members had to drive separately to the location because the vehicle was smaller than what I ordered they charged and I paid for. Deceptive business and mis-advertisement! A piece of the drivers side fender was completely missing. No one wants to pull up in a stretch hummer with missing parts visible to the entire parking lot! I was absolutely ashamed of the entire experience as I was the one who booked what I thought would be a Class Act experience. It was a D Act at best! I have spoken with multiple people at their Irving office including Steve, Sabaf, Alexis, Crystal.... They are all incompetent and let this issue roll from one day to the next. Steve finally promised to refund my company credit card after he researched the information I gave him. He admitted they had sent out a limo that I didn't reserve . No refund ever went through the bank. I called multiple times for an explanation and to get details on the refund promised. The entire office team does nothing but push you off another or make continuous excuses about their own incompetence. It has been over two weeks now. Now the "Manager" Steve of the Dallas division dodges my calls and doesn't return them pawning it off on his sheepish office staff that can't solve a problem or get ahold of someone/anyone that can. No one takes this issue seriously. They are all helpless without direction or a shred of professionalism. The charge refund reference # I was given as a refund tracker is not a reference number that the bank recognizes. I am reporting this bad business practice and complete mis-advertisement to the BBB, Google, social medians and all other outlets so that no other Dallas Ft. Worth businesses are taken advantage of! Captains Limousines is a terrible scam and fly by night shady dealing business that embarrassed me at my work! To add salt to injury... I ordered $24.00 worth of waters, sodas, and juices..... No surprise that they were NOT on the stretch Hummer. Not a drop. Again the driver complained that his company is at fault and full of shady practices..... As he took a drag off a cigarette in front of his clients. Complete disaster and terrible DFW business !!!! Beware and be warned. Completely upset about the service that we received from this company. I honestly wish I would have had a chance to see the reviews that are hidden b/c those would have been much more helpful. We hired the driver to get my husband to the airport. The driver arrived 40 minutes late-causing us to hit rush hour traffic. We had factored that in to our time estimate in when we asked for him to be picked up. He had called & said he was running a little late-so our expectation was 10-15 minutes, NOT 40 minutes. As a result we missed his flight. It cost us an additional $75 for a flight transfer fee. I called & left a message for the manager-who NEVER returned my call. I finally got a hold of the person who takes reservations, and this is what I was told (oh & BTW the manager never called me back, even after a message was left with the reservation person). The company says they cannot be responsible for traffic or weather, fair enough-they can however be responsible for arriving on time (factoring in enough time to show up at the right time IS their job). Shoot-I PAID EXTRA for the company to show up early! They refuse any refund or compensation, or even credit to our account. I didn't even get an apology from them-let alone any type of compensation. They continued to tell me it was not their fault and that I should have canceled right then. Ya at the point where they have you between a rock & a hard place. If the driver had called & told us he was going to be close to an hour late, we could have driven ourselves to the airport & he would have made his flight. I try not to judge by what others say BUT I really wish I would have looked at these reviews. Everything started out just fine with our Driver however the only thing that i found very unprofessional and completely rude was towards the end. So apparently the gratuity its not included in these over priced buses which are not that nice. And even tho tipping the driver is really not required yet I still do think that is professional to tip regardless. However what is tipped for any profession should be appreciated so for the party of 18 I had clearly asked everyone to tip what you want but 5-10 each would be nice. Since it was my party I gave $80 upfront everyone else was tipping too. One of the passengers gave him $10 and for the driver to act like we gave him food stamps or he was offended at the $10 was extremely rude. They didnt have to tip him anything. I know he got over $100 something in tips. The WORST part of it was that I had the bus till 3AM. DUE to me getting car sick towards the end asked the driver to take us back to the pick up spot. As we were loading our cars getting our stuff out, which we had a lot by the way. I was putting stuff in my car in the trunk when I turned around and looked up the driver and the bus was gone. LIKE SERIOUSLY. I know for a FACT that we still had unopened drinks on that bus, for we had a whole case that was never opened but yet he took off. So yea Captain Limousine, Global whatever you want to call yourself I am highly upset that your driver took off with half of my crap but seeing all these reviews I am pretty sure you guys wont do a dang thing and it was 230am, I had another 30mins to use the Bus I BOUGHT!!!!!! So that 30 mins could have allowed me to gather the rest of my stuff. So People BEWARE and PLEASE pay attention to these reviews do not use these people. On top of was told a certain price for a Bus and to call back and confirm if I wanted it only to call and they say well can you call back another day bc we dont know if we can. We rented "Dragon" which is one of the stretch Hummers for my daughter's 13th birthday. The service was great! The limo was on time and the driver was very professional and made sure they had a great ride to and from the restaurant. It held 20 teenagers with no problem. We had a scheduled pick to take us to the airport for an international flight - they called 5 minutes before the scheduled pick up and said they couldn't pick us up and we would need to find alternative transportation (ultimately we had to drive and leave our car at the airport for over a week) - adding insult to injury, when checking my CC statement I found that they charged our credit card for the service anyway - when I called their office to get it resolved I was told there was no one in the office today who could help but someone would call back tomorrow - at no time did anyone apologize for anything - not when they called to say they couldn't pick us up and not when I called to ask why they charged my CC anyway for a service they never delivered read more

Watch the rates! They will quote a price per hour and then charge an extra 20 percent. If the limo is delayed returning you back to your destination they will charge you, regardless of the weather, road conditions, etc. Very disappointed! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! wish I could give zero stars. They advertise great deals, even half off your reservation which seems hard to resist... well do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for a different company. The bus was late, and had no glasses or ice that were supposed to be included in the price. The driver was great but that is the only good thing about the company. The following business day, I contacted the company to talk about payment because I did not receive a full hour of service that I had already been charged for , the manager assured I would be reimbursed for that time and it should reflect in 7-10 business days. I have been going back in forth with this company for over 4 months now. The manager by the name of Sodaf is useless, she is never in her office and only tells you what you want to hear to get you off the phone. I finally reached someone who claimed to be higher in the business by the name of Steve who promised the issue would be resolved and they would even send me two gift cards to compensate for my time. When I did finally receive an invoice showing that the refund had been processed.... IT WAS TO THE WRONG PERSON! I brought it to the attention of "Steve" and yet again I was met with assurance that the matter would be handled. The refund was never received and I was even told that if I filed a complaint with the BBB, that the gift cards would not be approved by the front office! Needless to say, life goes on without gift cards, I filed a BBB complaint today and come to find out, they have 12 BBB complaints on record and they only responded to one back in 2012. This is a poor excuse of a company that is in the costumer service industry, they are solely out to get as much money as they can out of people for minimum work. The reviews say it all. read more

I paid 1,083 dollars for a party bus with captain limousines for my wife and her friends. First, the driver showed up late and claimed she was on time. After dropping of my wife and her friends at dinner, she parked the bus, went inside, and uninvitingly sat herself at their table. When they would ask to be driven somewhere, the driver would reply with "why" and "what is that", instead of just acknowledging. She even pulled the bus over and decided she wanted to go hang out in the back with the girls. When my wife asked her to continue driving, the driver ignored her. When the driver decided she wanted to continue driving, she slammed on the brakes sending 2 of the girls flying to the front and down the entrance stairs and screamed at them for being too close to the front. They had bruises on their arms and legs and one sprained her wrist. She then parked 3 blocks away from their venue and told my wife and her friends to walk at 12:30 am in downtown fort worth because she didn't want to drive down that street, because of traffic. The next day we get a 250$ charge for a cleaning fee. My wife called to complain about the driver and inquire about the 250$ and the owner/ceo immediately apologized and said the 250$ would be refunded, because they charged it by mistake. 2 weeks go by and nothing, so we call again and the owner/ceo said they put it through and he would find out why we haven't gotten it and get back to us. 2 more weeks go by so i call again and he says he doesn't remember saying he would refund the $250. After refreshing his memory, he begins making insulting remarks about my age and that we shouldn't have complained in the first place because the driver has been with him for 14 years. He then said "I put the 250$ through, and if you didn't get it thats not my problem." We still haven't heard back and I am assuming he made off with our $250. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE services, and its pathetic the owner/ceo who spoke like he was drunk, would act so unprofessionally. Limousine/Pary bus services are expensive and there are so many other companies that will provide the services you pay for, so dont get screwed like we did with Captain Limousines. read more

I reserved a limo for my daughter's 10th birthday party on June 23, 2012. When the driver Martin arrived, he informed me that the company had lost the red carpets during the move from one building to the other. I had given them my credit card to pre-pay for the red carpet as well as the entire reservation. I had a CD of music to play for the girls during the ride. The driver could not get the power on, but placed the CD in a slot and it would not come out. When we left the restaurant, the power was on and I realized that he placed the CD in the slot for the DVD. I was able to get the CD out and put it in the correct slot and we were able to listen to music only during the ride after leaving the restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant, the driver pulled up across from it instead of on the side where the restaurant was. That meant, my daughter and her friends had to walk across an area where cars were driving in order to get into the restaurant. On that particular Saturday, it was 100 degrees and the limousine was not cool. I sat in the seat by the right rear door and there was only one vent, which did not lend enough air for a comfortable ride. When I searched online for companies, this company seemed to be a perfect fit for a limousine rental for my daughter's 10th birthday. When I initially called to inquire about rates, Susana informed me that the minimum I could purchase was 4 hours. I then went online and made my reservation which allowed me to get the same vehicle for 3 hours. A few days later, I inquired about the red carpet via email and was told it was $25.00. I authorized the $25.00 charge for the red carpet. A fiew days later, I received a phone call informing me that I could be upgraded to another vehicle. I declined that upgrade and knew that the only reason it was offered was because someone had double booked the MKZ. Although I received the vehicle of my choice (I had reserved it before the 2nd person reserved it), I was extremely disappointed that the vehicle was not cool on such a hot day. Needless to say, my experience with Captain Limousine did not meet my expectations. I sent an email to the company two days after my reservation to voice the concerns and issues I had. I was told I would get a credit for the red carpet amount. I also requested reimbursement for the equivalent of one hour because of the issue with the vehicle being hot. It took me over a month of follow up calls and emails before I finally received $30 (they added gratuity to the red carpet rental too) back. I was informed by Karen,the supervisor, that I would not be getting a credit due to the vehicle being uncomfortable, but if I had called during the time I was in the limo, they would have sent another vehicle. As if I was going to disrupt my daughter's party to deal with them. If your plans call for a limousine, do not, DO NOT, rent from Captain Limousines. read more

I had used this company awhile back. At first I was nervous I ordered just a stretch limo. They said hey we don't have any more but we will figure it out and you will have what you need the day of. I was like oh my. Then he was 30 mins late but I will give him credit a wreck did just happen. And traffic was bad. But me I'm so impatient. So he finally came in this huge suv I'm like omg . Driver was so apologetic said he will give me an extra hour and a half. And that they upgraded my limo for free. I was like dang they made me look like I had money. I will admit my party loud and obnoxious but that Driver was so understanding and so nice. He deff deserves a pay raise. The driver is the brand as I see it. The worst experience ever! Limousine came to pick us up and it would not start when it was time to leave. We even tried to boost the battery from our car and no luck. We had a personal individual come and got it working but it ran hot. We had to drive ourselves to where we needed to go. They even left there driver waiting over 2hours to be picked up amd even left the limo on the street over night. I called the company Monday morning and have been getting the run around for over a week. No one returns my calls and they always have the same excuse that the owner is not available. We had a group of friends go out to dinner this past Valentine's day and we hired this limo company. First the driver pulled into our circle drive and because the limo was too long, he ran over our grass and put major ruts in our lawn. They had me sign a credit card voucher for the full amount before we left. We told the driver when we thought we would be done. We came out as scheduled and the limo and driver wasn't anywhere to be found. We called him numerous times and left three messages that we were out and waiting for him. After waiting over 45 minutes we gave up and caught taxi cabs. I protested the bill and said I would only pay half with the credit card company. Captain limo wrote the credit card company and said we were lying and that they had provided the full service and they had proof because I signed a credit card statement for full. Beware do not sign a credit card receipt until you have received the complete agreed service. This company is not reputable and honest. Buyer beware. read more

We rented the Hummer limo for my friends surprise 30th birthday party. 15 minutes before the limo was supposed to arrive at our house to pick everyone up, someone called to inform us that the Hummer had broken down, and they would send an upgraded one that was more expensive. She also assured me that she would be noting all of this and the manager would contact me first thing Monday morning. Unfortunately, this didn't really make me feel any better as we missed our restaurant and the bar's reservations. We didn't even receive a comparable service as far as I am concerned. After an hour waiting for the replacement, I was in tears as I saw a party bus pull around the corner. NOT THE HUMMER LIMO OR EVEN AN UPGRADE TO THE HUMMER AS THE LADY PROMISED IT WOULD BE!!! The speakers in the bus were blown, none of the shades worked, and half of the lights were out. After receiving no call Monday morning, I called to speak with the manager. They told me they were reviewing the case and would get back to me no later than Tuesday morning. Same thing Wednesday, but this time they told me my case had been escalated to the owner. Here we are on Friday, and no returned calls. I can't even get a hold of anyone at the company now. I would NEVER recommend this service to anybody. read more

do not rent a limo from this place ever, they are the worst. we rent a limo and the air condition did not work in the back of the limo. it was a 100 degrees in texas and we sweated our hair and makeup out. it was some people first time riding in a limo. this was not a good experience. read more
