This is a must try ice cream stand during the warmer months! My friends and I decided to take an impromptu trip to Michigan to enjoy the scenery and this ice cream stand was highly recommended. The ice cream stand itself isn't anything fancy but the line to get ice cream was long. The line stayed pretty long throughout the time were at the stand. Behind the ice cream stand they had a few picnic tables that provide ample sitting for small and large groups. The ice cream stand is located right next to a mini golf course. It was pretty cool because my friends had the option to enjoy our ice cream while playing mini golf or chilling at the tables. The ice cream itself was pretty tasty. My husband insisted on stopping for ice cream here and I was opposed as it was busy and I'm vegan. Watching others eat delicious sundaes is rough for me and I often dream of finding vegan friendly sundaes, soft serve, and milkshakes. As we got closer to the front of the line, I noticed they had a raspberry sorbet and I resigned myself to a sorbet in a cone. Ok twice in two nights must tell you something. It seems they have a few locations but we stopped at the Douglas location each time. The parking is ample and there is TONS of seating. Very different than my beloved Ted Drewes in STL. The menu is pretty big but when ordering the names are easy to remember.
