Blackened catfish with loaded mashed potatoes and collard greens
    Giana M.

This place was so nice! Perfect for either a date night or a family outing. It's on the water and such a nice classy atmosphere. They have put a lot of hard work into this place. I had blacked catfish and it was a lot of fish for the price. The collard greens are not traditional but they have a nice flavor to them. They reminded me of Asian flavors mixed with bbq flavors. Greg had the Cajun pasta and it was amazing Alfredo sauce with a very well seasoned chicken breast. I'm not a hush puppy gal but those were the best I've ever had. We will be back!!!!

Nice atmosphere. Wait staff are very good. Each of our visits have been pleasant . Their burger is one of the best I've had ever.

Very slow service. Cold food. Typical fried food reheated against a so-so view of a trash cluttered portion of West Point lake.

Our server was friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. She was patient, and just really good. The sweet tea almost made me cry it was so good. Since we no longer live in Georgia the sweet tea was like a welcome home in a cup. My husband said the same thing. We both ordered the BBQ Sampler, and I added a fried catfish fillet to my order to satisfy my Southern ancestors. The three meats all had good, different flavors. I don't want my meats to all taste the same. There was a slight mix up with my sides, when my tray came out. I had ordered fried okra, and baked beans, which the server quickly took care of. The fried catfish fillet was a great, a good size, with a cornmeal crust, yum! My taste buds were so happy. Roger's doesn't need to change anything in my opinion. It's a small-town welcoming, and comfortable place with good food. I miss you, sweet tea.

The hamburgers were burnt. The slaw dog was not good at all. We could of gone to an all you can eat buffet for what we paid for 3 people. It was very very crowded. Hard to get around the tables. I will say one thing, it was clean.

We ordered mussels to share. 12 good sized mussels, flavorful broth, very garlicky. Lukewarm. Server didn't bring bowls for shells or proper small forks.Three small pieces of plain toasted French bread slices to sop up broth- not enough, no flavor. I ordered the duck and asked specifically for medium well with crispy skin. Came medium rare with soggy skin under a raspberry purée. I couldn't eat it, but didn't bother sending it back. If they can't even try to get it right the first time, why bother. My husband ate mine and I ate his pork chop- dry, no flavor. They didn't have any decaf coffee and server offered to brew a pot of regular coffee. For gods sake get a keurig. Creme brûlée was tasteless. Overall a below than average performance for a "fine dining" establishment. Won't go back.

Save your money and go to Waffle House. Oh yeah and it took over an hour just to get the appetizers as well.
