I had an outstanding dining experience at Bull Hibachi. The food was excellent, and the service, especially from my server, Victoria, was exceptional. The prices are very reasonable, and the restaurant's location offers a pleasant downtown atmosphere, conveniently close to the Marriott Courtyard, where I stayed. I dined here twice during my visit and would have gone a third time if not for a last-minute schedule change. On my first visit, I enjoyed the delicious Hibachi Triple--chicken, shrimp, steak with vegetables, rice with yum yum sauce, and a side salad. I also had the egg rolls. This is a nice little Hibachi restaurant tucked into the small town of Lagrange. The portion sizes are large enough to share and the service and quality of food is great. We had the shrimp hibachi, the chicken & shrimp hibachi and the chicken rice bowl, as well as the wantons and spring rolls. Overall our food was just okay. I think everyone has a favorite hibachi place, and this just wasn't ours. The wantons were a bit greasy. The spring rolls were simply not good. However, overall the dinner plates were okay. We ate until we were full and had enough for a 2nd meal for everyone, so the portions are huge! I just don't think I would crave it enough to go back. Went here during a stay at the Great wolf lodge and grabbed take out back to the resort. Overall was a great value and plenty of options to order. The hibachi was ok, rice portion was large and the rice was pretty flavorful (add some of their sauces and you'd be all set). I ordered the trio and was a little disappointed in the portion size of the three meats, the meat quality was ok. Most disappointing part would be the veggies seemed like a bland after thought. The spring rolls and crab wontons were fried and still crispy after the ride back. The highlight was actually the sushi and didn't expect the quality given the location inland GA and the price (about 5 for a spicy tuna). If you are in Lagrange looking for a quality but affordable meal, this could be your spot. read more

I ordered the Hibachi Chicken and Steak plate to go, and man, was it was disappointing... The to go plate was sectioned into halves, so I'll start with the first half - fried rice. The "fried rice" was just that. It was literally fried, undercooked white rice with soy sauce. There were absolutely no veggies added, and the only addition to the rice was a single scrap piece of egg smaller than a penny. Because the rice was undercooked, it added a hard, grainy texture to the rice resulting in a dish unfit to be called "fried rice." Onto the second half - chicken / steak with a side of grilled vegetables. I was expecting half chicken and half steak, but I got 3/4 chicken with 5 pieces of cubed steak. No worries, steak is more expensive, and for $10 you can't expect too much. The only redeeming part of the plate was the steak. It was actually pretty good! It was well cooked and well seasoned. The chicken, not so much. The chicken was overcooked, dry, and had little to no seasoning. Should've chosen the steak.. Underneath the protein, there were the grilled veggies. The vegetables, themselves, were fine, but what made it gross was the pool of juices they were soaking in. It looked as if the cook poured the entire contents of the frying pan into the second half of the to go box without draining the liquid excreted from the veggies. I guess that's one way to moisten up dry chicken. Final thought - this place is not for me, and I don't think I will be going back. However, a coworker said she'd never been there for lunch and only goes for dinner, and she never complained about the food. Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen, who knows? read more

This is the best hibachi and sushi in LaGrange, honestly! And so affordable! I've been here several times for myself, but have also ordered take-out for my company's crews during the long nights, and it's great food either way. The waitresses are also so so sweet! Always friendly and smiling, and they do a great job checking up on me and my friends. When I first moved to LaGrange Jan 2016, they weren't open to what I can remember.
