Today could have been better.. seriously This is supposed to feed two. Dissatisfied today and while understand it's a busy day there's no excuse to cut short a meal.

This is a great place to have a awesome meal. Most the items I have tried here are 5 star but I knocked it down one star for the refried beans. They get busy sometimes but never a long wait like the big name places on restaurant row. Definitely a hidden gem and they have other menu items besides mariscos.

    Poca Madre plate, absolutely delicious!

First time coming here. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the Poca Madre plate which was very filling. The portion was huge and definitely worth the price. Perfectly marinated in lemon and spices, served with tostadas on the side, YUM! The service was also great, our server checked on us every 10 minutes or so. Would definitely come back to try something else. I think everything on the menu is fairly priced considering it's seafood made to order. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious seafood.

    Cantaritos a must try

Great quick service and the food was really good. The only thing is kinda high in price, feel it could be just a bit less expensive.

I ordered two fish, one grilled shrimp taco and one potato taco. The food came out quickly and was plated beautifully with both lemon and lime wedges. I was asked if I would like a mild, medium, or hot salsa. I chose the medium one but it had only just a little hint of a kick. It was a good tasting accompaniment for the seafood. The beer batter was crispy on the fish. There is plenty of shredded cabbage and a good crema on the tacos. Fish was very fresh and clean tasting. The grilled shrimp was seasoned well but were small and a bit dry. I would probably try the beer battered shrimp next time. Potato taco was crunchy and the filling tasted good. Altogether, the food was very delicious and left me feeling light. Service was very welcoming and friendly. Bar and dining areas were inviting and clean. One of my favorite songs, The Smiths' "There is a Light That Never Goes Out" was playing on the stereo so that was very nice while dining. I will certainly return to try the other items on the menu.

We also ordered the chips and salsa. The fish and shrimp tacos came with limes and sides of different house made salsas which were really good. We were ready to cash out and asked for the check, after we got the check we told them we wanted another taco each and another round of beers! The service was great, the place is really clean and they have a bar serving beers on tap. They play different types of music like Banda and oldies. They served my favorite beer, 805!! I'd recommend this place and definitely come back here again!

I finally turned around and the female staff met my eyes and told the young men again, I wanted to place an order. I consider that not good customer service being as that their conversation wasn't about work. I have a new review of Shabang after 6 years. I have always purchased 1lb peeled shrimp, Classic seasoning and mild heat seasoning. This has been my go to. Today, I don't know who was playing in the kitchen. The sauce was watery and not red and thick in color. Shrimp was uncoated (see pic) Imagine my sheer disappointment not getting the same quality of food as I have been these past 6 years. I have brought people to eat here, near and far. Now the cook is playing in the kitchen. I hate when establishment know that their stuff is subpar for a takeout order and they're gonna throw it together thinking that you know the people aren't gonna say nothing or they're not gonna open their bag until they get home and they're gonna keep it. Well that's not me. I'm a shout it loud.

We came here about 3 years ago for my son's birthday, and he insisted on coming back here again for this year's birthday. The waiter was nice and attentive, he didn't have any issues waiting when we needed more time to decide on our order, and he was quick to correct an issue when our food arrived. We never ran out of our drinks, which is a feat in itself with how fast the kids drain theirs! The best part for me was when I showed the waiter a picture of a drink I ordered 3 years ago and the bartender was able to replicate it and tell me what it was so I could order it again. It wasn't on their menu anymore, so it was impressive that he was able to identify it from a picture. Bring back the White wine Sangria, it's delicious! Oh, I also have to mention that when they brought the ice cream out to sing happy birthday, they made sure to include an ice cream for my 5 year old so that she didn't feel left out. I love that they took her into consideration.

The item was actually supposed to be chicken suizas, but we received chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Ironically, my mom liked this first order more than the second one. The shrimp in the shrimp fajitas was seasoned very well and I liked that it was visibly seared/grilled. My mom enjoyed her chicken enchiladas. 2nd order: Shrimp fajitas, but I received fajitas with chicken, shrimp and steak. I made an attempt to eat the steak but it was dry. We ordered chicken suizas and received the actual chicken suizas, which did not have shredded chicken but blocks of chicken. My mom hated this dish and said it made her sick unfortunately. The manager was gracious in correcting the mistakes and gave us some delicious churros, so that helped. The flour tortillas seemed handmade, they were very fluffy. The salsa and chips were good. I enjoyed my fajitas but sadly my mom hated the suizas.
