On my last trip I wound getting a chicken brie apples bacon on brioche bread. It was a special of the day. From the moment I bid into it, I knew I would love it for the savoriness, the crisp and sweet tasting bread. There was a side of potatoes... Very nicely seasoned and the perfect crunch to them. On my last visit, it was a total of 10 people in our group and the customer service was great. We were all able to pay with separate checks... Always a perk. The waiter was super super friendly and kept our coffee refills going. Inside it is busy which could lead away from the quiet ambience, but I didn't mind it at all.

The location is on the corner of Grant Ave and Mt. Ephraim Ave in Haddon Township, on the border of The City (Camden is literally across the street). It does not accommodate guests who want to eat in, although you could if you really wanted to, at one of the two table in the small dining room. I bought a dozen blue claw crabs with mild seasoning which came with potatoes and 4 corn cobs. I also bought a two 10 piece fried shrimp platters that came with French Fries - plus a homemade iced tea. The total was $66.88. Not bad for all that food! The flavor of the crab seasoning was great -- not overly salty -- and ample spices. I had three crabs of the batch because I was sharing. All of the crabs were a good size, but one of mine was mushy. The other two were excellent. I'd visit again to try their crawfish because I have never ever had them and folks keep telling me they're good.

First the entire dish lacked seasoning plus salt. Then red tomatoes were used and we all know what happens when you try to fry one. It turns to water after you cut it. The lump crab is what probably made this dish pricey but 3 thinly slices of a red tomato caught me off guard. I would say a half of a cookie is a good serving size for an adult, so if you split it with a friend it's a little less egregious, but $2.50 for a 1/2 a cookie isn't a great number either. It's even worse when you drop the Lincoln and get a less than great flavor. Still, it's almost always a great time at Crave. I fully recommend.
