I stopped in hoping to enjoy a quiet hour to myself without my three kids. I had pre‑ordered a sweet treat for a scheduled pickup, and while waiting, I went to Passareillo's for a slice of pizza. According to the timestamp on my phone, I paid for my slice at 4:39 PM. I was the only customer ordering at that time--no rush, no crowd, just a normal Monday afternoon. As it got close to 5 PM, I asked the cashier where I should pick up my order. She directed me to the gentleman who was now helping the next group of customers. I asked if my slice was ready, and he simply pointed to a plate sitting on the counter. I asked for a box, went to add red pepper flakes, and that's when I realized the pizza was completely cold. Not lukewarm cold. What made it worse was the number of employees standing around: three at the register, at least three cooks, and another person handling to‑go orders. With that many people working, there was no reason my food should have been sitting out untouched for nearly 20 minutes, especially when the restaurant wasn't busy. By the time I got home and explained what happened to my husband, I honestly didn't know what felt worse the lack of customer service or wondering if the way I was treated had something to do with the color of my skin. Either way, the experience was disappointing enough that I won't be returning. This location is officially on my "do not shop" list. I've had pizza from here awhile back at my mother's house...was perfect. Well, I work close to this Voorhees location, so I decided to order a cheesesteak hoagie online for pickup after work. I called them a few minutes before my shift was over, and added to the order...onion rings. The woman was very pleasant. Once I arrived, the gentleman at the counter was very pleasant, smiled and brought my order to me right away. After getting home and opening up the container, I was hoping my eyes were playing tricks on me, because the sandwich looked like it didn't have ketchup and stuff on it that I wanted. Boy was I wrong! I bit into it, and felt like a kid in the candy store. I was very pleased, and my taste buds were extremely happy. I don't think this place can make anything bad. The family came in with expectation that it was a typical dine in with a menu type restaurant but was definitely not the case when the front desk staff handed us a card upon entering. You would walk around and tell the counter staff what you want to eat and hand them the card so they can add the order to it. The food is all pre cooked and heated upon ordering. They have a large selection of pasta and pizza option and the price seems fair in comparison to the amount of food provided. The food was not amazing but not bad either. Last night I ordered the flounder platter from Passarella's. I've had the flu all week and I thought flounder would be nice and light when the flounder platter came and I opened the lid. The smell of fish was so bad that I covered it up and put it in my refrigerator and now I'm going to throw it down the trash sheet. I called Palo's and they said the manager won't be in until Wednesday. That's not good enough have been living here eight years and I've been ordering from Passarella's constantly. So much filler in the eggplant parm and for me to say too much cheese (on both the ep parm and baked ziti), you know it's excessive! Ordered a few pies to watch March Madness and we all thought the pizza was just okay. Ordered the penne vodka sauce pizza, white and pepperoni pizza. I thought the penne vodka was great. Creamy with a lot of flavor. The white had no flavor and all of us added additional seasoning on it. All three pizzas were very greasy and was dripping grease. If you do visit, I would recommend the penne vodka. Just make sure you blot some of the grease! read more

Excellent food and environment. Set up like a cafeteria where you walk along the choices with a swipe card then pay after done eating. We had salad, mussels marinara and meatballs. The salad was large and very fresh, made to order. The mussels were cleaned well and prepared in a marinara and garlic sauce. Very tasty. The meatballs were ok. The sauce was basically out of a jar. For some reason my fiancé recalled liking their pizza at some point so decided to get their large pan pizza delivered and damn was did it brink back bad memories. Remember when you would go roller skating as a kid and get that shitty pizza just because it was pizza and you just needed the fuel? Well that was actually better than this. At least that crust was crispy (burnt) while this was actually chewy crust. I have literally never seen her throw away pizza no matter how bad it was just because I know she will crave pizza at 3am but even she couldn't imagine having this ever again. $18 pizza and 5 out of 8 slices going straight to the trash. Restaurant was not crowded at the time we were there but it did strike me that it would be hectic if it was packed at peak operating times. Food was good but i did not grab any pics to share. Went there for dinner tonight. first time trying it and i can say it was not good at all. i got the baked ziti with chicken parm and half my pasta was hot and other half was cold. the chicken was not edible it was chewy and had a bad taste to it. The customer service was terrible i stood in front of the counter for 10 minutes untill i was finally asked what i wanted and they asked it in a rude way (the guy at the pizza counter was very nice tho so he's not included in this) but the other people behind the pasta counter need to do a better job at being professional. they gave dirty looks and spoke spanish to each other. i don't speak spanish but the way they presented it after i said what i wanted i could tell it was judgmental. i will never go again! read more

We went to check out this cafeteria-style italian joint after being told that this place has the same owner as Scotto Pizza at North Maple Ave (since we love the pizza at Scotto). As we entered the restaurant, the host gave us a card so whatever you're ordering will be registered into that card, and you'll pay at the front cashier after you're done eating. We went straight to the pizza section. This place offers a slightly different pizza selection even though it has the same owner as Scotto. We had 2 different kinds of pizza, thick style with variety things on top (Price is $5 per slice). One thing that's surely disappointing is the service. The employees at this place is kinda cold, they are not friendly, not even a slightest smile on their faces. I requested my pizza to be heated well-done, but the lady who worked at the pizza section just put our pizza inside the oven for barely 1 minute. I also asked for our pizza to be cut in half so we could share, but she totally ignored me so I had to tell her several times. And it's not like the restaurant was super busy. As I bite into my pizza, the dough was still cold. It was not heated enough. So I brought it back to her to be heated again. By the time I came back, a different guy was there (who I think one of the owner or perhaps the manager of this place). He looked at me and kinda annoyed as I asked for my pizza to be heated again. But I didn't care. The taste of the pizza itself was just average, not the same kind of deliciousness that you would get from Scotto Pizza. Great place to go before heading to the movies as it's quick and not badly priced. I've been here numerous times and today's service was not as good as usual. The girl waiting on me was to quick and didn't listen to my whole order prior to making it. The down side for some people is the food is already good and they heat it up when you order. This review is only about the food. I had it delivered to me. I only live about a half mile away from the restaurant so the delivery was MUCH shorter than the estimated hour, maybe about thirty minutes, but it still had a $3.50 delivery charge. The best thing they had could be rated a "meh". I got a half cheese, half buffalo chicken pizza to try. I also got a spaghetti bolognese, garlic bread and a garlic breadstick. It turns out the garlic breadsticks are sold by the piece, but it was probably about the size of three Olive Garden breadsticks. Both garlic breads were awful. The breadstick was actually pretty decent as far as the bread goes, but the flavor was unreasonably garlicky. As if they just topped it with raw garlic after baking. The garlic bread had the same problem but was worse because it was soggy also. The spaghetti bolognese was so beefy that no other flavors came through. It just tasted like beef and reeked of beefiness. Honestly I should have stuck with my better judgement and just gotten the pizza. It was definitely the best thing and my review would be somewhere between 3-4 stars. It wasn't great, but it was decent. It scratches the itch if you're looking for this type of pizzas but you won't walk away wowed by your meal. Oh I also got the cookie. Another 'meh' item. Not great but not terrible. Passariello's is a unique restaurant in a hybrid buffet/sit down style of service. Each "guest" is given a "passport" card. They then each go to the various stations around the kitchen area where they can order anything from pizza slices (thick crust, many unique varieties - try the cheese steak pizza!) to pasta dishes to sandwiches to high end desserts. At each station, you are served and your "passport" is swiped. Then, you go to sit down at booth-style tables, and at the end the "passports" are all scanned at the register to get your final total. It is a very fun setup with considerable freedom. The downside - of course - is that it is possible to spend a lot more than you realize. :-) The food is all good, but the greasier meals (pizza, especially) are the best parts. The buffet-style setup allows you to sample a wide variety of tastes, and the portions are very generous. Free refills on all drinks (but again, self-serve). A fun place to bring the family or to hang out with a group of guys. Not really a great place for a date. Overall, highly recommended. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Our Food showed up an hour late... the Mozzarella sticks were cold and underdone . Wings are breaded fried and then served cold. although the mild sauce was good. Personally decided to used the mild sauce to dip my cold mozzarella sticks in, since the gravy served with the mozzarella sticks was acidic and not edible. Let's get to the Pizza!! Today my daughter and I were in the mood for some pizza and salad and we decided to come revisit here. I like this place. I like the idea of how it's set up. They give you a credit card and then you can go to the different food stations and pick what you want to eat. My salad was good and the pizza was okay but many other times when I came it was awesome so I'm still gonna give the four stars. I just like the whole idea of this place you can choose from pizza to salads to steak sandwiches to Italian food to deserts afterwards and your not pestered by anyone. If you never came here you should try it out. It's like being In a food court but it being a more relaxed atmosphere and not having to deal with the crowds at the mall. Try them out.
