I had a problem with my Infiniti G35 where my radio circuit board with short out and basically my radio won't turn on and I can't control the AC in my car. My friend and I googled around and people on the g35driver.com board talked about a shop called RadioMedics. Car Audio Care (formerly Radio Medics) is as good as it gets. I have a 2003 Honda Accord that Robert set up beautifully. The audio system works great with my iPhone / iPad / iPod, and even integrates into the stock controls. "Above and beyond" is often a cliche in business, but that's exactly what Robert has done each time I've worked with him. The last time, he even came to my house to install a replacement cable to a system I had installed roughly two years ago. On top of that, he's as friendly a guy as you'll meet and very personable. I have a 2003 Acura T.L. and recently encountered an issue with my CD deck. The LED display was displaying an Er-E1 code and loaded CDs wouldn't play, eject. nothing. I was referred to "Radio Medics" by a dealership I patronize and I must say that that experience was one of the best I 've had yet dealing with my automobile. Robert of Radio Medics is truly a consumate professional. He invested the time necessary to ensure that I was aware of what the problem was and what options were available. After Troubleshooting the issue with my deck he called me up and reaffirmed what he had shared initially. I decided on an option and my deck was repaired and re-installed in what I woud classify as record time. There is no doubt that Robert is a master at his craft. While observing the de-installation of my deck, it was clear, Robert knew what was doing and could do it well. He took care of my automobile as if it were his own. Robert replaced the navigation unit in my 2007 Acura MDX and installed a new updated navigation disc and everything works great. He came to our house which was way convenient and was good enough to spend some time with me showing me how to use the unit which I could never figure out due to the defect. He was referred to me by the Acura dealership in Escondido, who would only refer their customers to a vendor which does great work, which makes them look good to their customers. And by the way his charges are really reasonable, especially compared to having the work done at a dealership. So everything about his service was great including the communication. read more

I had such a great experience with Car Audio Care. They were recommended to me by the Hoen Acura dealership in Carlsbad. Robert made arrangements to come to check out the amp in my TSX while it was being repaired at the dealership for something else. He took out the amp, diagnosed the problem within a couple days, and made an appointment to install the new amp. He even went out of his way to drive to me in Newport Beach since he was in the area. I just used the services of Radio Medics for the second time and once again I'm very pleased with the results. The first time was about a year ago to repair the CD/FM stereo deck in a 2001 Nissan Quest minivan I was selling for my sister, and although the radio powered on and worked, the digital display would only work occasionally. Robert Cruze came out to my home, did some tests and removed the deck. It was repaired and back in the van within a week, and everything worked perfectly, plus the cost was quite reasonable. Recently, I bought a 1998 BMW Z3 that had been parked on the street, under a cover, for over a year, and the stereo/cassette player wouldn't turn on at all. Fortunately I remembered that I had a good experience with Robert and Radio Medics and found their number. Robert again made a house call, and determined that the radio had some rust inside the cassette door so he took it with him for diagnosis. It turned out the circuit board could not be repaired, but rather than replace the radio with another cassette deck, he was able to locate a rare (for this car) CD unit. In addition, I had him locate an iPod adapter that could be attached to the CD / stereo unit, using the CD Changer features. Robert came out today to install everything and did a very professional job, again at a very reasonable price. In addition, after the install was complete, I asked Robert if he could troubleshoot why the Z3's 3rd brake light wasn't working. For $40, Robert traced the problem to several broken wires in the wiring harness going from the trunk to the car body, opened up the sheathing, stripped and reconnected the wires, soldered the connections, and taped it all back up... and the light now works. No question, I highly recommend Robert Cruze and Radio Medics. read more

Apparently, they frequently use Radio Medics as well when they have issues with car radios. My radio died, and it took awhile to figure out the problem. Robert Cruze was so helpful. He is a kind, understanding, and compassionate man who really cares about fixing your radio. Best of all, he fixed the problem within my price range, and so far, the radio works fine.
