John (Sylvester Stallone look alike) helped me out with setting up a complete package (Head unit, 4-6.5" speakers, 1200wt amp, and 12" sub in box). I went in there in March to get an estimate and told them that I couldn't afford it that day, but wanted to be assured that they would beat the prices of the competition. They did and I ended up purchasing the package in late July...because I couldn't do it till then (being in the military it was hard to find time) They held true to their estimate and the quality of their work. Some great things: I showed up an hour and a half from closing and they worked on my car still and got it done that day even though it ran past closing time. When you do so many cars a day it becomes muscle memory and that's how the guys work, they open your doors pop out the old ones in with the new and soon you're on your way. I'm not sure why people are putting 1 star....maybe a fake review? Maybe "your plan" of a stereo system doesn't work correctly....so let the experts do it for so there is no issues. John from Car Audio Warehouse just had 2 sets of Cedarslink speakers, a pioneer deck, and wired up an old sub and amp for me. Also mounted and installed my Sirius deck. I cruised around Hayward and San Leandro to get prices for that....HAHA! The rates at his place are better and the quality and craftsmanship is hands down the best! I've seen work from other places...hacks! Last year I bought some home theater speakers, amp, and such from John. I had an issue with the system and he helped me figure it out with him and another worker from the shop. The beginning of last year I had to return an item and there was no questions asked. A few months ago I purchased a 1997 Ford Ranger with Alpine INA W900. One day it would not work. I first took it Stereo Maxx in Hayward. I was told that one of speakers was bad and a amp. So in a little while time passed, the radio would not pick regular stations. There were always trying to sell me something. So I decided to go on my way home toward San Leandro. On the right was Car Audio Warehouse on east 14th street. I had come back. They were busy. So I took the radio out myself. What a mess. I used to install 8 track tape decks in GTO's. I brought in my new Pioneer double din deck that I bought online elsewhere. Talked with John told him I was having trouble getting the deck back far enough to put the dash panel back on. He immediately said lets go look at it. He advised me to use a smaller RCA cable and he could do the job. I said great! His installer did a fabulous job making sure everything was done correctly. Boy was I wrong I thought I was going to get the best price online but the guys here beat the online price for the deck I wanted and I didn't have to wait for shipping. I would recommend this shop! I have taken EVERY vehicle I have ever owned here. Great customer service, always willing to work with the customer and very informative. Bought an amp and speakers there and when I hooked everything up, the amp didn't work. Called the shop and they told me to bring it in to look at. With all the cars that were there to have work done, the techs were to busy to check my amp out. The owner himself came out, looked at it and fixed it himself. The absolute best place to get installation done are troubleshoot. The management is honest and have the best prices in town.
