After exhausting every resource in the area over a week, I contacted a friend who owns CMH Auto in Niagara. Phil found the situation ridiculous and offered to help, but it meant driving four days with three worn tires with 55,000 miles on them, a risk I couldn't take. As a last resort, teary-eyed, I pleaded with the service manager, Dave Sleater, at Wheel Specialists to see what he could do. He asked me to leave it with him, and my wife and I took an Uber home. Within the hour, he called to say it was done, and the relief I felt was incredible. After a week of frustration, I finally found my savior. Oil on the driveway. Ugh…read more Called some friends to get a recommendation for a local shop. One said that Scott from Sunland was the guy. We had the car towed over (2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid), and they diagnosed the problem and repaired the issue quickly and at a fair price. Unfortunately, the tech made a small mistake and once we got the car home, there was more oil on the driveway and a check engine light. Ugh, again. So we called back to Scott to see what he wanted us to do. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and issues arise. How a business owner handles those issues are the difference between good businesses and great ones. This is a great one. Scott was MUCH more upset than we were! He got us back in same day and fixed the issue at no charge! (We should have paid for a necessary part, but he would not charge us.) With everything so expensive these days, and everyone trying to stretch a buck, it's hard to know if you're leaving your car with someone who cares about it as much as you do. Scott does. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough!
