I was in the Petersburg area and needed wiper inserts for my 2011 Civic. I called to confirm the…read moreparts were in stock and stopped by on a Friday night around 5:40pm. There was no one in the service area, but an employee noticed me and instructed me to purchase the inserts from the parts department and pay for them at the cashier, then he'd get a service technician to install them for me. The parts guy, cashier, and service technician were all very friendly. Even though the tech mentioned that he was the only one working due to vacations, he took the time to show me how to install the inserts. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. It started raining on my way home, so I was happy to have good working wipers. I've never been at this dealership before, but my experience was very pleasant.

The battery had been replaced 6 months ago- the vehicle broke down again- was towed to this location. There was at best tenacious communication with the family member & the shop manager. The situation was finally handled by a salesperson- Tory Gilbert who offered to purchase the vehicle. The main thing is he was empathic but nicely emphasized the warranty situation. He was courteous- professional & provided excellent feedback to the owner & myself- he deserves a 5 star but not the dealership in my opinion. There was a breakdown in communication with the shop manager & owner. I'm happy Mr Gilbert was effectively able to tone down the rhetoric. The lower rating for the dealership is because it was evident the "bumper to bumper warranty was not thoroughly explained- it was an opportunity to sell the warranty- so the owner had to purchase another battery & get the vehicle on the road himself. I'm sure- lessons learned on both sides

But, despite wandering the outside lot for over an hour, I was never approached by a single salesperson. So, I then wandered inside, where I was again seemingly ignored. So, I simply left, and look my business elsewhere.

I was a bait and switch victim of this Ford dealership in Prince George. They had a reduced price…read moresales event tag in vehicle hanging from rear view mirror(2025 Honda Pilot) and after confirming the price was correct with salesman(Eugene?) several times and even took photos of sales tag inside car with salesperson present (as shown in photo's supplied), we took vehicle for a lengthy test drive, agreed to purchase at price advertised and went into facility to start paperwork while I contacted my financial advisor to wire payment or discuss other payment options. The sales manager (Kenneth) appeared and claimed they don't go by the sales tag in car but by the online price and he would not honor the price and didn't offer any solutions to help purchase that or any other vehicle. Then why have a Sales Event tag in the vehicle if you don't honor the price unless you had ill intentions? Note that the vehicle was parked nearly in front of the dealers' main doors that was passed by employees many times a day and they didn't change or question the price either which was clearly displayed as shown in the photos I will provide. The following days I attempted to contact Crossroads multiple times with no success via Facebook messenger , they gave me a number to call the dealership direct which turned out to be a number for MEDICARE! Here is the number they gave me, see for yourself. (877) 331-9405 I then went back to the dealership on my own accord to make this wrong righted but the manager Kenneth attempted for several hours to sell a vehicle of lesser value at above market price that he claimed they had to "get rid of" as it was on the lot for an extended time. There are too many errors and mishaps to think that all these were accidental.

Once again they exceeded my expectations. The repair came in early and with a discount (coupon)…read morethey offered me. After a nightmare at PEARSON Hyundai and WEST BROAD Hyundai. (One mounted directional tires backwards. When I returned saying the car pulled worse than before they also admitted not doing the alignment I had paid for because of time. Had I not returned they would not have told me. They let me drive out having paid for work they did not do! The other overfilled the oil at a change by double and neglected to fill the radiator at a flush!!!!) If I hadn't checked the fluid levels who knows what damage would have occurred to my car.) NO SUCH PROBLEM AT GATEWAY. It is nice to go somewhere you can trust and the polite helpful staff are truly appreciated. Many of my colleagues have Hyundai models and I tell all of them: Gateway is the BEST!!! Even if they are 15 minutes south of Richmond on 95, it is worth the extra few minutes drive. They do it right the first time, no excuses and don't mind answering questions. I couldn't say enough great things about them. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I had already spoken with Hyundai Customer Care, who confirmed my vehicle was affected by the recall and told me to take it to a dealership for a free inspection. When I got there, I was told I'd need to pay $205 out of pocket, and the person at the service counter told me "corporate has nothing to do with the service department" -- even though the recall policy on Hyundai's official site says the inspection is 100% free. The staff member was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was the problem for questioning it. Thankfully, Hyundai Corporate stepped in again and helped me get scheduled at a different dealership that was far more professional. CMA Hyundai clearly doesn't follow Hyundai's recall policies and doesn't prioritize respectful customer service. I won't be back.
