The Car Craft employee Brent, walked me through the process while working with my insurance company to get all the repairs done in one place and in just two weeks. Other shops were told me they had a 3 week waiting list and Telsa itself weren't able to do all the repairs. If you have a Tesla in St Louis I'd recommend going to them. Had a great experience so I went back. I had a cracked windshield and roof glass (rock damage). Communicated fine and set a date. Had the car picked up from the jaguar dealer up the road. The one piece was approved by insurance. The car can text me when it's being opened/closed/moved. Saw it moved so I asked to make sure both the two concerned were addressed. They indicated the windshield needed to have an addition on the claim. Not idea, but whatever. We set a date to bring another car in.... On that date, I emailed to let them know we would have to postpone because I can't have two cars out of service at the same time. No reply. About 3 weeks go by and I finally call to see what's going on. They HAVENT EVEN ORDERED THE WINDSHIELD! Wow. Ok! They say they ware waiting for approval. So I call the insurance company to see what's up, and not only did they approve it BUT SENT THEM A CHECK! Called back to let them know they were approved and money was sent, and Dave insisted that didn't happen. I asked him is the car drivable, and he says yes BECAUSE THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING! Not even what it was brought in for in the first place! They had the car for a month and did nothing! By their own admission. I lost my mind and asked how long were you going to let it rot on your lot before you'd ask "hey, what's this car doing here?" It got heated and Dave hung up on me. I'm selling the car. I don't even want to pick it up, I don't even want it back. The whole idea just pisses me off. I'm having the dealer pick it up to sell. Later, to my wife they admitted they screwed up but that was it. They weren't concerned about even trying to make it right. I had my Traverse repaired for hail damage which required PDR and conventional repair. Car Craft Auto Body did a great job! There was no issue at all. They had to communicate with the insurance company for me because there was more money and parts needed than the original estimate called for, which meant it took a little longer than they originally said, and that was fine. That's how it goes. I wanted it done right. What I don't understand is how other people don't understand that. My SUV looks brand new! read more

I had them repair my Tesla as part of an insurance claim. They were supposed to have the car for 4-5 days. On the 6th day, I asked for a status as I had heard nothing. I was told parts were ordered and would not be in for weeks. I stated I wanted to pick my car up multiple times as it was drivable when I dropped it off (dent in the hood/no mechanical issues). 3 requests of what was going on and wanting to pick my car up were completely ignored. Finally, when they did reply, they ignored my request to get my car and blamed the insurance company for not approving additional repairs right away. However, my insurance company showed me it was approved the day it was submitted. After that, I again stated I wanted to pick my car up as the insurance would not pay for a rental that long. I was again ignored. Fast forward 24 days and I finally get Abigail, the manager, on the phone, and she was horrible to deal with. She had no idea what was going on with my car or why no one had replied to me for so long. I finally picked it up and they had let the battery run down to 22%. They also left the key to the car sitting on the top of the center console for anyone to see. I feel like my truck is in worse condition than when I dropped it off. The door that was supposedly fixed is heavier than the other doors and my locks lock system is not working now. Also my truck is leaking water when it rained from the area in front where they did work around my windshield. There is a noise every time I open my door now that I never had before. I am so disappointed. After they had my vehicle for a month and this is what I have to deal with? I also had more mileage put on my car that is not matching with the information that was originally marked. Had I known that this business in Chesterfield would be this less than mediocre with their business I would have never utilized them and I will never recommend them to anyone. I am in the middle of writing an email to every chain of command so that they are made aware and I am letting my insurance company know as well to release them from one of their recommendations. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. If they are in a rush, they will make it obvious that they do not care about your vehicle. My experience was with Dan at the Bridgeton, MO location. Before I write my wordy review, I did try to contact a manager twice to avoid giving them a bad review. No one ever contacted me back. On Friday morning 9/14/18 a "Check Hybrid System" message came on in my Toyota Prius. I called the Car Craft in Bridgeton, Missouri as I had just recently had work done there on my front bumper and I was satisfied with the experience and service I received. Nick was very thorough during that visit and provided detailed information of the repairs necessary for my vehicle. I am still new to the area and not familiar with any Auto Body shops so this seemed like an easy first stop. I called and explained that my service lights had come on as well as the "Check hybrid system" message and is this something that could be diagnosed at Car Craft for me? I was told yes, and to bring my vehicle in at 3pm. I dropped off my vehicle and got a call 30 minutes later to say that my car was ready for pick-up and that my keys were at the front desk. I asked what was wrong and Dan said "It was something to do with your hybrid system but it is fixed now and it's no big deal. These things just happen." He also said that he would have to talk to a tech for more information so I assumed I would receive more detailed feedback when I arrived or some sort of report. When I arrived, Pam at the front desk politely gave me my keys and thanked me. I asked if she knew what the issue was with my vehicle and she paged Dan to the front desk. Dan came to the front desk and he repeated what he told me on the phone - he said that it was no big deal and that it was 'something to do with my hybrid system' which was already clear due to the error message on my screen. I just wanted to know what error codes appeared that made the service lights and message come on so that it could be addressed. Dan's vague responses honestly made me a bit concerned. Even if it was a minor issue, I simply wanted to know what it was as it is my vehicle. He then repeated that he could check with a technician and disappeared to the back. I waited so long, about 20 minutes, that Pam called and reminded Dan that I was waiting for him to return and that there were other customers in the waiting room. Pam then went to the back and told me that she would check to see how much longer my wait would be and I thanked her. Dan finally came back to the front and said "Sorry for your wait. The Tech said that it has something to do with your battery." I was confused because he initially told me that my car was good to go and made no mention of an issue with my battery. I was also frustrated that he made me wait 20 minutes just to give me more vague feedback. I felt that Dan was growing frustrated with me for simply wanting to understand what caused the service lights to appear in my car. It was fine if he couldn't explain why, but clearing the error message without giving me an explanation was puzzling to me. I asked if he could maybe show me the report of the error codes that triggered these service lights to come on and he told me that he could not. Dan was overall very short with me and gave me the impression that he did not care at all. I expressed concern that the error message was possibly cleared from my car without actually diagnosing the error. Dan ended our conversation defensively by saying that "we are not responsible for whatever is wrong with your car as we only replaced your bumper. You need to take it to a dealership to figure out what is wrong." I simply wanted a diagnosis for my car problem and the service I received was very rude, questionable, and untrustworthy. I felt like I was leaving with more questions than answers for what was hopefully a minor issue. I do hope that Dan at least recognizes that the customer service that he provided me was very poor and unprofessional. read more

Geico referred me. My bumper was dislodged from the car while it was parked outside of my apartment. No cameras, no witnesses. Hit and run. Took the car to Car Craft and they took 4 weeks to repair it. Two weeks longer than they quoted. Also, my seats were dirty and they tried to say that was from rain. WTF. They forgot to put my license plate back on. I believe they may have caused there to be a wiring problem as well. I came outside, dead of winter this morning, and the windows were all down. read more

These guys think the customers are idiots who wont notice their shoddy workmanship. They affixed my splash shield with zip ties rather than replace a 20 dollar part meant to support it. They also left other parts off completely. So much for following industry nest practices. Geico referred me to this shop and I couldnt be more displeased. read more
