My experience with my service advisor Shaun and the Jessup auto family is superb. Professional,…read morefast and efficient. My rear shocks on my 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 were shot and Shaun had them replaced the same day. I've had leak issues with my aftermarket air bags and was told that the left side collapsed. So since I'm not pulling my horse trailer any longer, I decided to go back to stock and they removed the broken system. Now she's riding better than ever!!! With my truck at over 10 years old, I have correctly put my trust in Shaun and the Jessup family. Always impressed with their top shelf professionalism, superb mechanical repair work and terrific attitude. Happy truck = happy owner!!!

My experience with jessup has been nothing but disappointment. The 1st week of having the vehicle, the transmission light came on, so I scheduled an appointment and took in to get serviced for a valve body repair under warranty. The service took a couple of days, but as soon as I picked the car up and drove it off the lot, it immediately started acting funny--violently shaking and having a severe engine misfire. It is incredibly frustrating to buy a new vehicle, have it throw a major transmission code immediately, and then get it back from the dealer with entirely new, severe engine performance issues that weren't there when I dropped it off. Clearly, something was either disturbed during the transmission service or quality control completely failed to check the car before handing the keys back to me. Now I have the massive inconvenience of dealing with a compromised car and having to take it right back to the shop. Extremely disappointed with Jessup Auto Plaza.

Poor Management, Wasted Time…read more I drove an hour to this location after reserving a vehicle online. The website made everything simple -- that's where the good experience ended. When I arrived, I waited about 20 minutes past my appointment time. After sitting down with the salesperson, I learned the car I came for had open recalls and couldn't be sold -- something they texted me about 30 minutes before my arrival while I was already driving. No earlier call, no meaningful notice. I had already been there nearly an hour. Management offered a $300 shipping credit (only usable at that location), which wouldn't even cover the typical shipping cost. They refused to apply it elsewhere or cover full shipping despite the inconvenience. Gas reimbursement required a printed receipt from before leaving -- unrealistic. I decided to look only at cars physically on the lot. I clearly said no white cars and no compacts. I was repeatedly shown white cars and compacts. Eventually I purchased a different vehicle after another long wait. During the test drive, the tire pressure light came on. I was told it was handled before delivery -- it wasn't. The car was also handed over dirty (filthy rims) and missing the actual emergency key -- I was given a plastic cover instead. The salesperson was polite, but management failed at communication, preparation, and basic follow-through. I've bought from CarMax before with no issues. This location was a completely different experience. I won't return. Four hours in-store for this level of execution is unacceptable.

My experience with CarMax has been excellent. I believe CarMax is a trustworthy dealership that…read morestands behind the vehicles it sells and provides a transparent buying process. While no company is perfect, I have found the employees to be hardworking and genuinely trying to help customers. Many negative reviews often come from situations where customers may be frustrated with financing outcomes or other circumstances that are not entirely within the employees' control. One thing I appreciate is that the staff takes the time to explain protection plans such as MaxCare. For customers purchasing luxury or higher-mileage vehicles, repair costs can be significant, and these plans can provide valuable peace of mind. Rather than viewing it as a sales tactic, I see it as an option that customers should seriously consider. Overall, my experience with CarMax has been positive. The staff treated me professionally, the process was straightforward, and I would recommend CarMax to anyone looking for a quality used vehicle.

Will I be able to look at this car after this purchase and not get a knot in my stomach because I signed a deal where I knew the dealership was pulling a fast one just to make a few extra bucks? $13.00 a month. That is what was so important to Toyota of the Desert in Cathedral City, CA. Not much at all, right? Why not just sign it? I walked out. I said No Add-Ons to the associate. I said No Add-ons to the sales manager. I said No Add-Ons to the guy who picked me up from my house so they could lock me away miles from home in their kingdom. Hoping I would feel the pressure of now way home without a car. Why walk out over 13.00 a month? Because everyone I spoke to PROMISED they wouldn't try to trick me into add-ons. But they did it anyway. There are dealers who will treat you with respect and work toward a win/win. The ones that you will feel good about going to for future car purchases. Toyota of the Desert claims to be one, but it's the same old, same old. They'll take advantage and say it was a mistake. All for $13.00 a month.

I went to Palm Springs Mazda to buy a new car. I didn't want an automatic as I get bored easily,…read morebut the salesman would not let me get the car I wanted. I was forced really to buy a Mazda three when I really wanted a Mazda six or a Mustang. Even though I could've afforded it. I felt pressured and I even told him the brakes didn't work. I was made to feel like I couldn't afford anything better. I brought the car in many times and i was told I was imagining things. And there was nothing wrong, I've been an auto mechanic for 20 years. Mazda's have a lack of power not due to how they're made but programming the computer gets confused between economical driving and sports driving and just gives you poor fuel economy and sluggish throttle response. I've done more research and I found out that the programming that decides to give you more power or more fuel Economy gets confused and gives you poor and sluggish feeling an intermittent power that isn't there in certain gears. Due to memory corruption. It just doesn't know how to separate economy from sports driving end result sluggish car And if you bring it up to the service advisor and they test your car, they will reset the computer. It will fix the problem but when you start economical driving, the problem starts all over again and the service people both Nick and Wally will make you feel crazy. For coming in for these problems. There is no real fix to this problem other than getting your car custom Dino tuned which you may not pass smog.
