I had already spoken to Chris about the price and fixed that. Originally I was told that they smoked my car for 2 hours. The oil filler cap was broken so they replaced it . Took it home and the next day the car still had the same problem . I told them that it might be a hose on the passenger side since im a mechanic myself and have experience just no actual time to work on the damn thing. I decided to smoke the car myself , and found the problem 5 minutes into smoking the damn thing. I called back and asked what they did to my car. The owner said they smoked the car through the oil filler cap on the engine for an hour now instead of two and found no leak. That when they took off the cap they saw it was broken so decided that was the problem. Idk what they did but I know they screwed me for 250 dollars . They didn't smoke the car, they looked at the cap and assumed that was the problem . I found the hose I had told them was the issue to be broken and causing the leak. Called them to ask if they can help me find one and to help me out with price and it's like the owner doesn't understand English after I told him like 5 times which hose it was . After I told him he doesn't listen he decided to tell me he wasn't going to help me anymore . This place is trash and so are the people that work here . I trusted them off a recommendation and will never be doing that again . They probably only care about their own stuff but not mine . Attached are photos of the issue and how it was not resolved by them but myself . Paid them 250 dollars to screw me .

We went online and the 1st mobile mechanic we called told us he wasn't taking new clients and didn't even let us explain what we needed. The second one we called was Perez and Son's Garage and the owner answered and told us he had a lot of work on Saturday, mind you we called him at 6 pm, but that he could help us the next day on Sunday in the morning. We were really happy that he could help us on a Sunday and on Memorial Day weekend. The owner was very communicative the next day and gave us a time but unfortunately his mechanic could not go but since he made the commitment he assured us he would help us himself. He was very professional, took apart the truck to reach the alternator and even gave us a ride to go buy the part. He then applied the new alternator and made sure it worked for a while before he took off. He was very knowledgeable and explained how to monitor the truck on our way back home. Once he was done we traveled 8 hours home without complications and he called us the next day to make sure we had gotten home ok. We were very lucky to have contacted such a great mechanic and individual and we highly recommend his work.

It depends on what you're having done. But I feel the prices here are aptly fair compared to the alternatives. For instance, I'm not likely to go to Firestone for a routine oil change because of the potential wait time. So, I come here instead. I'm not likely to waste my time and gas money driving all the way to the Pit Stop on Viscount Boulevard anymore; especially since, in addition to being overpriced and genuinely pushy on selling unnecessary additional cosmetic services, they also "forgot" to re-install two bolts on my oil pan. Now the thing dangles like a limp noodle. But...I digress. So, I come here instead. They're like, 5 minutes from my house, a state inspection costs around 18 bucks, and the mechanics seem very professional. If there's additional concerns they have with your vehicle, they'll mention them on the spot and even give recommendations. Best of all, I appreciate the fact that they aren't doing this simply as a mission to get every dollar out of your wallet; even if this IS essentially a means to a financial end for them. I highly recommend visiting this express shop if you're looking to have fast, simple work done such as a fluid change or state inspection and you happen to reside on the east side of El Paso.
