Let me start by saying I have been coming to this location for years. This location has really gone done in service and experience. I get my oil changed and car wash here for multiple times during the years. Policy has changed and the experience is very confusing and inconvenient. I use to be able to drop my car and the oil change and pick up at the end of the wash. Now you have to keep hoping in and out of your car, no one is staffed at the front counter. I'm sure these are cost saving measures as they want you to move the cars around, but they still charge the same rate. Before you know it you will have to change your own oil and doing your own full service wash for the same cost. Shout out to the service staff as they are always great! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I took my car in for a oil change and wash on 8/7/2016. As soon as I got there, they starting trying to sell me stuff I don't need and they managed to talk me into spending $138.99 for an engine flush and oil change. The first thing I noticed when getting the car back was that they hadn't even properly washed it. There was a huge black smudge running down the side of the passenger door( pic included). Then, I noticed there was something wrong with my brakes - they aren't working! Imagine trying to stop and a stop sign, push the petal all the way down to the ground, and when you should stop you keep rolling. I tried calling Car Spa, but got put on hold to "talk to a manager" only to be hung up on. When I called back, they said they were understaffed and that they'd call me back later. I chose to trust them with my business, now I'm stuck with faulty brakes. Update: I took my car to the dealership who told me someone had messed with the vacuum hose to my break system. read more

I had a great experience! My car was really filthy, especially the seats (they're dirt magnets). Everyone was very nice, there's free wireless and snacks for purchase while you wait, and although they said it could take up to 2 hours, they had me out of there in 1 hour, car looking great. Today I stopped back for a touch-up on a water mark on my passenger seat and got the same great service. They don't get EVERY little nook and cranny but time spent waiting and their low price balance that out. This is an awesome bang-for-your-buck detail shop. I'll be back for sure. read more

The last time I went here, someone stole some of my property but after returning later in the day, the manager was able to find my missing stuff and return it back to me. I didn't come back here for over a year after that, since that was pretty sketch. Anyway, I returned here today to get my car detailed since I had someone coming out to look at it to purchase. They worked on my car for OVER an hour (bless their hearts, I KNOW that was a beating!) and it looks sooooooooooo pretty now! Possibly even better than when I bought it! It looks so amazing now that when the guy came out to look at it, I totally sent him on his way...It's looking/feeling/smelling like a brand new car now, I'm gonna have to keep it ALL TO MYSELF. They do an OK job and they're really the only option in this part of west Plano, but I can only (barely) stomach coming here when I have a coupon. Why? They are so sleazy! Pulling up here is like pulling into a used car lot. They have a group of employees that swarm your car looking for things that need to be fixed like windshield chips that aren't visible to the naked eye. Once, I was able to rub off one of the "chips" the guy circled. Once you get passed that, then the person will try to majorly up sell you on a detail service. In fact, they won't even show you the regular car wash price list unless you specifically ask for it. Been going to a couple different Car Spa locations for years...I am now done with this one. There are far too many car washes to accept this standard of work. First, the people that take your money are overly tatted and pierced...and even worse...overly aggressive. They want to up sell you...fix your chipped window... This is the first impression that your patrons get, and to put it very bluntly...they are a bunch of thugs. Not a good start. Second...if I am going to pay for full service,..then give me full service. I don't expect water spots...I don't expect streaks...or water running down the side of the car from the side mirrors and around the trunk. If I have to pull out the towels from my trunk after I leave, to fix your mistakes...then I don't need to pay you. The young lady that dried and swept my car was either new or just didn't care.... Either way...she needs to find other work. I went to the location on Frankfort & Coit all the time while I was going to UTD, I never had any major issues, the staff was attentive & professional and my car was cleaned well. Unfortunately, after 3 tries I just can't recommend this location. The three times I went, I got the basic, medium, and high versions of the exterior washes. The wash went fine, all the soaps and waxes sprayed evenly and there were no jets that didn't spray that needed to be refilled. My problem was the lackadaisical and unprofessional atmosphere, I get that it's a car wash and it's mostly high school kids or low-wage laborers, but the horseplay and lack of attentiveness is a problem. If I had needed to ask a question I probably wouldn't be heard, and sometimes the workers are distracted and don't pay any attention to guiding you onto the car wash track, which could mean I run into the car in front of me or someone runs into me. Once I get through the automated wash, one worker hand dries the car. At the other location, I very seldom had any standing water left on the car to make spots, and often two people dried the car. At this location, there is one person, and every time I had water dripping down from the roof or missed, hastily brushed over spots. To top it off, there are unattended cars in neutral rolling out of the wash that the workers rush to get into to get under control before they smash into other cars or roll away, cars are parked everywhere, there's no traffic flow, and when they're busy I worry about getting out without getting hit. The other location actually has a smaller lot, and I never worried about getting hit there. I think the key here is that the staff needs a more professional attitude and they need to look at their processes and procedures. I don't think I'll be going back. read more

This is my third or fourth time going to the Car Spa, and it will likely be my last. I arrived and thought it was going to be a quick wash because there was only one car in front of me in line. After being up-sold pretty hard by the guy who takes the order, I took my 11-month-old and 4-year-old inside and waited... FOR 30+ MINUTES!!! Yes, that's right. I got a plain old car wash (no detailing or waxing) and had to entertain my kids in their lobby for more than half an hour. When they finally called for me and I went outside to get my car it looked clean from, so at least they have that going for them. But when I went to put my kids in their carseats, someone had taken out one of the carseats and turned it completely around! I told the attendant that someone messed with the seat, and he asked me (I'm not joking here) "you didn't arrive with the seat like that?" Yes, because an 11-month-old child rode to your carwash in a carseat that was turned around and undone. Those seats are such a pain in the butt to install in a normal situation, so it was quite an experience to try to reinstall it while balancing a crying infant in your lap. Ryan - thank you for the respectful response. I've been driving the car since with no battery issues. Highly unlikely it's a "bad battery" issue that only happens at your car wash. At the end of the day, the whole situation should have been handled much better by your staff, specifically your car wash manager and GM - both of whom weren't remotely respectful in how oblivious/unconcerned they were when they interacted with me. It's clear they were just trying to sweep this under the rug. I'm still amazed how they wouldn't be on top of things enough to know there was a car with a dead battery sitting in a cleaning zone. I don't buy it for one second this was a coincidence - my keys were in the door of the car when I got there (not in some bin like you/he said). To not at least let me know when I arrived my battery died when (again) it's sitting in a cleaning bay (not parked in a parking spot like every other car) it just shows how bad your customer service is. read more

As usual, when the guy at entrance tried to talk me into buying a more expensive service, I was kindly to turn him down. He kept try to sell, but I insisted my choice firmly. Then, this guy turned out to give me an ATTITUDE that really PISSED ME OUT !!! He even said that " FINE that's your car " with very rude way, and turned his head and walked away. I only come here for the car wash and oil change, most of the time only when I get a coupon in the mail. This place usually does a decent job and they're friendly. I like that the oil change comes with a free car wash. If you upgrade to the gold car wash, they do a good job vacuuming and cleaning the interior dash and windows. They even have a 48 hour guarantee, so if a bird decides to attack your car after you get your car washed, you can always bring it back for a free exterior wash. read more

Showed the guy my coupon for a Free Bronze Wash and he asked if I wanted the Clean Tires and Wheels option for "just $4 extra" and pointed to the printed card, which appeared to have it priced at around $9. I agreed and he took my 4 one dollar bills. When he left he appeared to walk towards the cash register but I noticed that he put the money in his pocket, returned to put a $4 receipt on the inside of my window, and sent me through the wash. After it was dried on the other side, the guy asked if I had paid, to which I replied "yes". He acted like I was not telling the truth and asked why I didn't have my own receipt. This car wash / detailing location sends out coupons regularly in the Valpak and other type coupon mailings. I went here one pretty day to get a car wash and they noticed a ding in my windshield. After filling out a few insurance forms, they had my car washed* and my windshield fixed. The wash job wasn't as good as I had hoped as there were still streaks on the windows and my bumper had a spot on it. Maybe that's what you get with the $5 coupon wash. read more

Honestly, over priced. I find the "Tom Miller car wash" in Allen TX to be a much better bargain and much better service. The over weight man who checks your wind shields for chips is a real a-hole. I also didn't find it all that polight that I was repeatedly pointed to the more expensive, longer wait car wash. I wanted in and out. I paid $33.00 for a basic car wash and a thourough cleaning on the inside. They lightly vacuumed my carpets and poorly whipped the inside down with a thick, tart smelling arm-moral . You could easily see the places they forgot to cover. I was so disappointed i actually went back through with my boyfriend and properly cleaned it out. And last but not least... My brother brought his car in for a inspection and oil change. When they brought it back to us, they told us that it wasn't going to start and they had no idea what to do. We ended up getting it towed, and brought it to a dealership where they actually helped us fix it. We had to pay at both places making the entire ordeal highly expensive. I've been coming here for years. The price has been good and the service has been ok, until my last visit. I went to get my oil changed. I told them to go ahead and change both the filters. They checked and told me they were good an didn't need changing. It's nice to know they checked and didn't change what I didn't need fixed. They said 15 - 20 min. I walked into the lobby and turned on my laptop to hop on the free wifi. About 3 web pages in and 10 min later they were done. I've never had such a fast oil change. I've been here twice for a carwash. The first time, they asked about repairing a chip in my windshield. There was no pressure and I declined. It was not mentioned the 2nd visit. They always do a good job on my car! Whenever my car is ready, I walk around it to make sure it's to my liking. They walk right behind me and correct anything I find. Visited this place a couple times now. This place is ok because of the value. I only go here because they provide a coupon. Otherwise i wouldn't as with other places. Haven't found a good oil change place yet. The best thing to get here is a carwash and ask for your car to be vacuumed (upgrade to bronze package). They just charge 7 bucks extra to clean the interior and the carwash is already included with an oil change. I ended up getting an oil change and carwash inside and out for 24 bucks. Not too bad! Service is a bit slow. They have a nice lobby to sit and weight. Their internet sucks by the way. I could write a review in their lobby. I don't like their workflow. This would be the perfect place to steal a car. They announce your car by the make model and color. When they screen your car it always sound like "marforesctwentyten" (Ford Escape). Oh and i can't pay the mechanic. I have to go inside then pay. Overall, this place is ok. Bring a book and coupon. The best part is the free car wash with oil change. P.s. I have gone to this place numerous times and I am mad at myself every time I go - expecting better service and not getting it! You'd think I'd learn. Problem is, the place is very convenient for me. I have to drive further for a good car wash experience. My issue is with the promised wait time. If you are in a hurry and ask for an ETA, add 20 minutes. I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt once or twice when it runs long, but when told that I have a hard stop at a certain time and they PROMISE a finish time, I expect them to uphold it. It is my understanding the sales guys at the pull-in area are on commission - if so, they are con-artists, poorly trained and/or mismanaged. Whatever the case, its shameful. I have been coming to Car Spa Plano for years. My husband and I are both monthly pass members. I got a new car right before COVID. Once the car wash opened back up, the service has just been bad. My first wash after COVID in my new car, they lost the drivers side floor mat. I called the next when I realized it was gone and they couldn't find it. We are never out of there in less than 45 minutes. Today, I watched them pull 6 cars out of the wash line that were in line after me. We have tropically been using the Car Spa in Allen because the service has been lacking in Plano, but today sealed it. They need more staff who know what they're doing. read more

I am not sure what happened to this location and perhaps it changed management but I drove all the way from Coppell TX to this location because at one time the wash was consistently done right!! Now they are like other car washes apparently because they skip stuff and simply just don't seem to care about customer service at this point. I paid for a retail job that comes with carpet shampoo and I even asked about cleaning of the wheel well because we had been getting some storms and muddy weather and the guy assured me it would be taken care so imagine my surprise when my car was supposed to be done and the wheel wells still mud on them! Horrible experience today after many many years of giving them my business with both of my cars. I sat in the car inspection bay as the signs indicate to do and as I've done for years and no one ever came. Two employees looked at me, one being the general manager, but no one said a word. I finally exited my car and asked if the inspections were closed. They said no and "just because you are first in the inspection bay doesn't mean you are first for an inspection. We have cars in the parking lot in front of you." By the way, both of those cars came after I parked in front of the inspection bay as the signs instruct. It is decent at minimum to acknowledge a customer's presence and alert them that their practices have changed and there is a wait. This way, they wouldn't waste the customer's valuable time. I assume that they would have had me sit in my car another thirty minutes without even saying hello. I no longer recommend this location and am disappointed that the customer service has dropped so low after so many loyal, wonderful years with them. read more

I was told the inspection will be "ten minutes" so I purchased frozen items from Market Street next door. Returned thirty minutes later where I saw staff member just getting into my car to start inspection. I waited forty-five minutes. Paid, went to my car, couldn't find it. Had to go in and ask clerk to help me. Still half-way parked in garage. Got in car. No key. Went back in to ask for my key. Clerk couldn't find it. Mechanic shrugged and didn't know where my key was. Went out to garage where another mechanic said it was "right over there", pointing toward a wall. Was given my key abruptly with no acknowledgment whatsoever.
