You want high quality, come to The Car Stereo Guys. Casey has worked on my car twice now. I had him build a custom sub-woofer box for my subs. After finishing it he installed it and tuned my car to proper settings for the sub. After that trip, and receiving advice from Casey about my overall system performance, I made a second trip up to buy one of his ARC Audio amps for the Bangin' Sub box, and get a Clarion EQ installed as well. He installed my new amp underneath the passengers seat and I had him rewire & install my 4-channel amp in the same location as well. Compared to the last place I had taken my car to get audio installations, Car Stereo Guys did a far more professional job. From the box, to the installs, and to the knowledge and fine-tuning given at the end; cleanest to date. I drove from near Los Angeles area to have him make the box for the first time, It wasn't a question where to go back to when I needed some more work done. Unparalleled craftsmanship as far as I have seen. P.S. Without me knowing, CSG temporarily fixed my tweeter which was dangling out of its socket due to an inferior first installation. Got into my car and realized it was glued back in its place, probably better than the first time too. No extra charge. I was a happy camper. These guys do window tinting, stereo installation, and more. We took our FJ60 1983 Land cruiser to The Car Stereo Guys on Milpas for consultation. Casey agreed to do all the work we were looking for and sent us on to his Old Town Goleta office, since it had a inside bay that the car (no windows at that time) could stay in. Chris Sperry, the manager of the Goleta office, did us up right! Many thanks to Chris and Doug for the fabulous work. They installed dynomat and dynoliner, which has made an amazing difference in the interior quietness, added a second battery, rewired through out, replaced the carpet, tinted the windows, and put in an awesome stereo with backup camera. They were a pleasure to work with, communicated well, made helpful suggestions, and paid attention to the details. My husband and I highly recommend the Car Stereo Guys at the Goleta office. I had a bad experience at this shop. The installer made serious mistakes and the owner responded with attitude. Wish I had checked with the Better Business Bureau beforehand. For all you people whining away, why don't you go try Best Buy. Then you could really have an enjoyable experience. When your brave enough to start your own business, you just might get it. How many of you went back in and explained your concerns?I bought a stereo / Bluetooth from them yesterday . It took exactly 45 min. for the installation. And to top it off everything is working great (imagine that) Oh yeah I had to look in the owners manual a couple of times , because I forgot what he explained to me. I am so stoked on my recent experience at Car Stereo Guys! I rolled in there for some window tinting and factory decal / emblem removal. As soon as I pulled up 4 guys began working on my rig like a NASCAR pit crew. After doing a perfect job on the windows and decal removal I asked the owner Casey what he thought I should do with the gold Chevy logos, he recommended that I have them sprayed black. I've had a lot of audio work done on multiple cars with shops throughout California. I recently moved to Santa Barbara and came here to upgrade the audio system in my car. I went it to add an aux in my bmw 5 series. I had them order the parts and when I came back for the install they actually found I had an aux already installed. They gave me a cable and didn't charge me anything. They could have charged me the 500 originally quoted and not have said a word. These guys are way honest than most... read more
