The installed a radio that had wired CarPlay , I specifically asked for one that was wireless. When the guy came to look at my car and what I initially had, the first thing he said was " o you have Sirius Xm?? " I told him yes.... So the day of install about an hour into it the guy comes out and tells me that I didn't inform him I had Sirius xm, and that if I wanted to have it I'd have to pay like 150 for something whatever I can't remember or I'd just have to use app on my phone to play through car... I reminded him that's the very first thing we talked about when he looked at my car... so that's the first thing.. then when they finish the other guy comes out to show me my radio and how it works goes to plug in his phone and I was pissed ,,, it wanted wireless that was my first request.. in the end I had to pay for a wireless dobbler another 150 on top the 1200 I'm already paying,, I just get a feeling when in there and watching how the act, whispering to other , they dons some shady shit, they def over charging like hell.. I went in to have some speakers replaced. It was a pretty simple job. The first thing I noticed was that none of the staff were wearing masks. It kind of surprised me but I wanted my speakers so I guess I overlooked it but it says a lot about customer care. They also called me and told me that there didn't seem to be anything wrong with my current speakers but the new ones would be much better. When I asked for the old speakers they told me they destroyed them while replacing them, which makes me wonder if I actually got new speakers. Won't go back! read more

I signed up for a Living Social deal to get a $119 remote car starter for my car. I was sooo super excited about it. I sent the deal to all my friends to grab it. I called today to make an appointment and found that they don't work on Volkswagens at all. My heart dropped. I recommend to the owner that you list somewhere on your site the cars you can and cannot work on. I am sure you do great work but I am so so disappointed and bummed. I've been going to Car Worx since 2006. They've done audio systems, alarms, and window tinting on 3 of my vehicles. ALL of the work has been superior. Most recently, I had a problem with my 2006 Tundra alarm that they installed when the truck was brand new. I dropped it off and they fixed everything UNDER WARRANTY for work that was done 14 years ago! Talk about standing behind your product. They already had a customer for life, but this clinched it. Had an issue with the tint on my passenger side window so I took it back up to see if they could take care of it. After a quick look at it they offered to retint the window with no hesitation. I can't say I've been to Car Worx, but I made a phone call to find out if they had a dash kit in stock. The first time, I was put on hold and the call got "dropped". Second time, I was put on hold *again* and then kept getting switched back and forth thinking I was someone else they were previously talking to on the phone. Finally, I stopped hearing the music, then heard the meaningless chit chat between the receptionist and someone else for about a minute and a half before hanging up and calling once more. When I did call back, I mentioned I was still waiting on the information about the dash kit and she says, "Oh, yeah. I checked. We don't have it." I had a great experience getting my new car stereo installed today. They were very pleasant and helpful. I relaxed in their waiting room watching TV and chatting with the staff. They let me know the status as I waited. I told them I had gotten a quote from another place. They asked the place and I told them. They said they were a good place. My boyfriend called on a Friday to schedule a Saturday appointment get 2 windows on his pickup truck tinted. The man on the phone said they are the best in the area but do not take appointments. So boyfriend left his truck with me Saturday while he went to work so I could take his truck in. I showed up at 1pm Saturday and the guy said they are the best in town filled with appointments for the day. He said I should've called at 10 to check if there were no shows. That was the ENTIRE point of my boyfriend calling the day before because Saturday's are the only days one of us is home during the hours this place is open, but was told they do not take appointments. I am extremely dissatisfied and will not be taking the truck back in, or my 4 door jeep to be tinted. read more

Great tint job! Was recommended to go here from a friend and they did not disappoint. The 3M tint looks flawless. We had a tiny mishap on the rubber lining of one window which they quickly addressed and will fix free of charge. These things happen, but it's the customer service afterwards that means the most. Chris, the owner, saw my bummed out face and quickly flipped my grumpy mood with his urgency and attention to it. Nothing but kindness. I'll be back to get my windshield tinted for sure! read more

My boyfriend went to Car Worx to have a remote control starter installed. He made an appointment about a week in advance and was told to bring his car in at 9am on the scheduled day. The kid at the front counter said they usually take about 3 hours to install, and that he would call when the car was ready. We drove by the shop at noon and the car was in the same spot in front of the shop that we had left it parked. My boyfriend called and the person on the phone said they were working on it now and would be finished soon. By 2pm, we still had not heard from them, but figured it wouldn't be too much longer. Once 4pm hit, we decided to just stop at the shop. The kid behind the counter was incredibly unprofessional. We asked more than once how much longer and he'd disappear for a while and then come back and we'd have to ask again. He said that they were backed up from the day before. No apology given, just like we should have known better than to schedule an appointment and expect service in a timely fashion. At 4:30 he told us it would be about 30 more minutes because the guy working on our car couldn't "figure something out". They finally finished up at 6pm, an hour after the shop was supposed to close. The person that did the install said that because of the wait he would only charge $249.00. That was the original rate he quoted! When my boyfriend told him that, he said that he got confused when quoting the original price. My boyfriend said something about no one giving us a call and letting us know they were behind, and the mechanic actually argued with him. He said that they were too busy to call. The starter is working great. Unfortunately, we will never do business with Car Worx again. We did not mind that they took so long to do the install. The fact that no one gave us a heads up, the kid at the front desk acting like we were not paying customers, and being offered a bogus "deal" definitely left more to be desired. tl;dr car worx customer service sucks. read more

I mean to be completely fair this is a review so I want to be honest. The staff is cool. However there is absolutely no sympathy or leniency at all. First month there and my monthly fee was due on a Sunday (the day they are closed) either way I was out of the country. I had asked to pay in advance two weeks prior but was told I would be good. Come in and was hit with a $40 fee. No adjustments could be made to help me out. So I paid it. Then my blow piece snapped off the first month I had it and was told I had to pay for another one. I was given two originally but I still would have liked to replace my backup. None the less I passed on that. Also doesn't help when I found out there's another competitor out there $20 a month cheaper but I choose this business over it strictly because of the reviews. Business is business I suppose but I mean come on man not all people in this world are out there to harm your business. It's okay to look out for a person here and there. I have had at least 20 cars tinted here throughout the years. Got a set of wheels and tires for one of my trucks too. Chris and his team never disappoint. Their work is meticulous, and that's what is most important to me. No one else tints my vehicles but them. I drive 2 hours+ from Delaware to get there and they always accommodate me by finding a way to schedule my appointment so its convenient for me. Terrible experience. My wife bought me a car starter for Christmas. We had to wait an entire month for an appoitment they were then late to. Once inside, they first wanted to force me into an upgraded system because "it was the car's fault" and then they added equipment onto the prepaid package. Got a refund and rolled. The staff will ignore you and you will not get any minimal amount of customer service you would expect. Went in for a simple strip of tint across the front windshield of my vehicle. Was quoted $25 if we had paid cash, no problem. Drop the car off Friday 12/30/16 and asked to see how far down it would come on the windshield before we left. Chris showed me where it would go and I asked if it could come 1 inch lower he said fine. So we leave and get a call around 2pm to pick up the car. I return at 3:30pm to pick up car and they said the total was $44.99!!! No one ever informed me that the price was going to almost double. Their excuse was they had to hand cut it. If you were going to charge me almost double then why couldn't you have clearly informed me before hand by calling or letting me know before I left. I waited to talk to Chris & he basically belittled me and said that this was discussed when it was clearly not. Even my partner who was with me at the time said that it was not discussed. He was rude & unprofessional. I have taken several cars here and will NOT RETURN!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE! Be sure whatever they quote you, that you add double! read more
