Got my windows tinted here. I got the ceramic tint, it does a great job of keeping the heat out and looks nice. I walked in and waited 1 1/2 hours, which they told me to expect. Went to HP Racing, for window tint, based on the recommendation of a friend. I got the ceramic tint all the way around, and it turned out great! With two people in front of me, with no appointment, I was in and out in about 2 hours. There are a couple of places to eat nearby, and there's an area to watch TV if you choose. Last Saturday I visited HP Racing, a number of years ago they installed a CB/Scanner with antenna in my 2016 Jeep Cherokee sport. The antenna recently broke in the car wash so my visit was to get a price and decide if I would have replaced. I decided to have the repair done and I set the appoint for today 1/24/2025 for 4 pm. I arrived at 3:45 pm signed in and waited. A few minutes before 5 pm I went to check the progress only to find that they hadn't even started. At that point the rep( same person who did the install a few years earlier) asked the reason for the visit. I brought him outside and showed him what needed to be done. Then I asked why the delay. He said he wasn't sure what was needed and added they had texted me about the appointment. I did get a few reminder messages from them during the week but didn't respond. they were reminders which I get when I have an appointment. He didn't have an answer why the work would start an hour late, not an apology but said I could talk to the woman who he said was the manager. I don't think she was, but at that point there was nothing to say as he was to start. It took about 30 minutes but he did finish, when I paid I went outside but didn't see the top( rod) part of the antenna and went back inside. He said everything was in the back of the vehicle. It was there but I had to go back in and ask why the job wasn't completed, another male said they couldn't reach. Considering they started an hour late without even an apology I think they could have gotten a ladder or chair. They know what they are doing but today acted like the customer was not important. read more

So far I've used HP to tint my Tesla and install a 3 M clear bra, remove some failing tint (done by the factory) and re-tint a BMW, and now tint a new Audi A5 and install a clear bra. Jason is super responsive and always delivers when he says he will. read more

Been using HP Racing for years for car window tint installation to audio and other electronic installations. Most recently had a new pioneer head unit installed, radar detector mounted/hard wired and my sun roof tinted. I couldn't be happier with the customer service from Adam at the front desk to Roy's installation of the head unit and radar detector. HP racing is a quality shop for tint. They have a variety of top brand films. There prices are a little higher than usual depending on what film your looking for. They also offer great plans and lifetime warranties in case anything happens on the road. I will be going back soon to try out SunTek CIR on my front windshield of a newer vehicle. read more

I arrive to installation for Smart Start on my car (it's the second installation on the car ) So all others companies who work with smart start not charge for the installation but here they say it's different installation and bla bla, but the first installation was done by another shop without cost They supposed to charge just for calibration that's it. For me it's a signal that this company try to charge you anyway for something even if it's right. Maybe you take the 100$ from me but you lost a client. read more

Backstory: I have a set of customized wheels with PVD Chrome on them and had taken them to another local shop and they had messed up the finish on every wheel. The other shop at least paid to have my wheels redone but would not attempt again to mount my tires. So, I tried a few other local wheel shops and they all would not touch my wheels. Now I'm starting to regret having the PVD on my wheels and worried I'll be buying new wheels because nobody wants to mount them. I googled custom wheels and saw this place (HP Racing) and stopped in. Jason and John were absolutely great. Talk about easy going and friendly people. They were upfront about their concerns as well and were willing to give i a go. I am freaking out a little because I love the wheels I have and don't want them ruined. They were very careful with the mounting of the wheels with my new Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ tires and I am ecstatic to say that they did a kick a - - job with the installation. Mounting and balance of all 4 wheels were great. No scratches, no mess up just good solid work. I would recommend this shop to anyone. read more

I bought a new car, took it to HP racing for tint the next day. The tint was fine. $575 for ceramic. The installer was sloppy. He stained my back seat in several places. Which tells me, he didn't protect the seats. I paid way too much for crappy work! Sloppy! I've been back twice to get a resolution, they do not care. It is a brand new car with a stained back seat! Took my car in to get tints done (around April-ish I want to say). Not doing any research on tint companies, I noticed this shop when driving by, so I thought I'd give them a chance, why not. I went in one of the days, noticed a lot of nicely tinted vehicles, and asked for pricing/timing/film levels. I came back a week later to start the process. I came early in the morning (~30 minutes after they opened) and my car was ready in a little over an hour. I went with 18% CXP film, knowing it was illegal (I don't really care if its illegal). They did GREAT! Now 4 months strong with the tint, and love it. No problems whatsoever, HP did an amazing job, clean and smooth process as well. Thanks forever! read more

Took less then 30 mins with no appointment and looks great! the only reason i gave four stars was because its a little more expensive then other shops but for sure worth it, i was having issues with my card declining and they were very patient and kind considering they already tinted my car and they were trying to close up. read more

The radio installation was great. However, when I got the windows tinted I specifically asked "is this level of tint legal?" The response was "yes." I wanted the darkest legal and was given the illegal. Needless to say my car failed state inspection. I was charged a fee to remove it. Next I wanted a sub-woofer and they didn't have one. The rep shared a link to a website and shared if you order this we'll install it. I ordered and it was an eBay link, and the subwoofer that arrived was worse than the one I had. I elected not to complain, and the reps attitude was too cavalier regarding his errors. I wouldn't tell anyone not to go to them, but I sure won't go back. read more

Pros 1) it does not take long to get your window tinted and you can get an appointment fairly quickly 2) free WiFi 3) they offer Groupon deals 4) the gentleman behind the desk is kind and definitely knows how to multitask Cons 1) $40 to tint two 1/4 windows (small windows on the sides of rear windows) of a Honda Accord is overpriced... I spent $98 for the Groupon AND an additional $74 out-of-pocket (two extra 'windows' and the only way to get a warranty is to buy the high performance tint vs standard) 2) expect to pay much more than the Groupon 3) they are over priced and up-charge you if you're using a coupon, etc It's only day two, but I feel I will definitely have a couple of small bubbles on two of the windows. Of course, they tell you to wait several days, they'll all dry, etc. I'm not convinced. So far the work is okay, but nothing to do cartwheels over. read more

I liked the job they did on my window tints. There were no bubbles, blemishes, or missed spaces on any of my windows. I found them to be a little on the expensive side but the film used & tint job quality were really good so I won't dwell on that. I also like the re - tint package offering they have for instances of being required to remove dark tints. When I was not issued the voucher I was supposed to receive with my package Louie was very helpful in getting the issue resolved. He seems to always be working, is very friendly, and gives great customer service. I would use their services again for window tinting & ask for Louie to help you if you need to stop in. read more

I was referred to HP Racing by word of mouth. Trying to get them on the phone was a bit of a hassle, but after 3 tries I was able to get someone. I thought it would be a quick job, just to get my stock exhaust pipe welded, and the guy on the phone quoted me anywhere between $25-75 depending on labor, but that he didn't really know. Either way, it sounded reasonable to me, so I made the appointment. I arrive and do the standard - drop of the keys and fill out an information sheet, then the guy who was going to do the weld comes out and says that it shouldn't take long, but that the price would be $125 because he would have to add some other piece of metal to the pipe. My boyfriend stepped in and asked if he would bring down the price because he knew people that had gotten work done and they weren't charged that much, plus the guy had quoted me less (even thought he didn't know). The welder was nice about it and after a little haggling, he knocked the price down to $106. Overall, I was pleased with the experience. The job only took 20 minutes and the guys seemed reasonable. I was just happy my exhaust system worked again, and with that came better acceleration and better gas mileage. read more

I called ahead to make an appointment this morning and they said they were not busy and that I didn't need to make one and that I could just come in. Therefore, I jumped in my car and went on my way. I came here to get my tints done TODAY. Told me there was two cars ahead of me and that it only should been a 10-20 minute wait as they were almost finished. I see the cars come out, and I assume they are taking my car in next, NOPE. I see people that came AFTER me going in to get their car tinted. So, I've been sitting here biting my tongue and TWO hours later they finally take my car back. Talk to the supervisor and she was making up all types of excuses saying that they were getting tints but I heard them saying what they wanted tinted to an employee. Service here is terrible. Not to mention my tint had bubbles all in it and shit. Don't come here, save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I would not recommend this place for window tinting. I had my brand-new car tinted here; a gift. Had I done research, I would've never chosen HP! Reason number one, I waited over two hours to have my windows tinted never mind making an appointment two weeks in advance. Reason number two I had to bring the car back because every window (5 + 2 small windows) had bubbles. When I asked to have the tint completely removed and reapplied, my request was refused. Reason number three; I waited another two hours for them to smooth out the existing tints. Reason number four; I just recently had an inspection and found out that I have been driving around with illegal tints. Reason five; When I called, and explained this. The person on the phone told me "it would've been explained at the time of purchasing that all cars have 5% tint and the tints I purchased would not be legal". Of course this was not explained. Had it been I wouldn't be writing this. Reason six; after explaining my car had failed inspection and that I was not informed of the 5% existing tint. I asked if they would remove the tints. Of course he said, for $135.00 This is not how you keep a customer! I am completely disappointed with the service, staff and the work they do. . read more

Came in to get two front speakers installed because the right one was busted. They left the system sounding worst than it did in the beginning, with the left one making a crackling noise. I called back to ask them to please fix that, and they said they would charge me again for it. The representative, Mike, kept saying how they are going above and beyond even though I am worse now than when I took the care in. This is horrible service. Oh, and another thing was that they stated that it would take longer than 1.5hr, but I was there for well over 3hr, which caused me to be late to work. read more

Brought my vehicle here to get some illegal tint removed. I wish I would have went elsewhere. The store was dirty, bathroom has no paper towel, and worst of all, after I got my car back, the trim on my driver-side door was warped.
