Do not take your business here! I took my car here after getting two new (used tires) on my car because the car pulled to the left really badly and I did not want to ruin my new tires. It was a last minute choice because they were the only place open that could fit me in. I now regret that! To start off a wheel alignment costed me 140 dollars. That is one of the more expensive one in the areas, but again I thought that it was okay because I needed it. After dropping off my car Victor called me and said my car was ready about an hour later. I went and picked up my car, and to my surprise my car pulled very badly to the right now instead of the left. I called as soon as I arrived home and they told me to bring it back in the morning & that they will look at it. I brought my car back at around 9am the next morning. At 11:15 I received a call that my car was done. Within the call Victor on the phone told me that my tie rods have never been changed and that they can not I quote "Heat them up again and align the car." Victor also stated that since I got new "used tires that the car would not be able to drive straight since the tread on the tires was too worn" I proceeded to ask that if my tread was worn too much why the car pulls on opposite direction that it did before I handed it to them. He said "It is just your tires". I am very frustrated at this point since I did take my car there for an alignment & paid 140 dollars, I want it to drive straight and I want it to be done the correct way. Also it should be noted that on my inspection sheet my tie rods were marked in the green, so if there is something wrong with them now, it was done there. So, before I go pick up my car I contact customer service and tell them the situation. They say that this district manager will call me. When I go to pick up my car for the second time Victor says to me "If you get someone to change your tie rods, then I will re-do the alignment". I leave the store and Customer service then calls. They say that for me to get a refund I need to take my car back to the shop so that they can look at it and make sure that it is all aligned correctly. If it is not they will fix it & I will be on my way. I then say my car was just there for them to do that for three hours and they told me to come pick it back up. He says that Victor says that I came too soon and they never even looked at my car. So someone is lying there! This is now my third day in a row taking my car back there. I walk in and of course Victor has an attitude and you can tell he wants nothing to do with me and my car. They put my car back up on the rack and I get to see all of the numbers and how it is not aligned. Most of the numbers are still in the red so they do some work and then give my car back to me. I proceed to ask Victor "Is it going to drive straight?" He says "I did not drive it but it should". I say "Good it better be". After saying that he gets very upset and tells me that I am not allowed to talk to him like that. He has no customer service and no patience at all. I pick up my car and leave, it is still pulling drastically to the right so I call and say I want my money back because the job was not done. Victor tells me on the phone that for the car I NEED new tires so he will let me know how much that will be. I repeat that no I do not want new tires, I just want my money back and finally after a three day hassle I get my money back and a crooked car that drives the opposite direction it did before I handed it to them! 8/16/2018..Went to CarX in Schererville Indy Blvd to take advantage of a coupon for oil change and tire rotation. Dropped off car. They said done within a half hour. I return 45 minutes later and car is still on lift (No other cars being serviced). I sit in waiting room 30 more minutes before I finally see them lowering car and replacing oil. After another half hour...they put car back on lift and them call me into garage because "Theres a big problem". They tell me they cannot rotate my tires because they are about to fail due to uneven wear caused by bad shocks, struts, and numerous suspension parts that need replacing. Probably over 2 thousand in work plus new tires. Seems odd to me cuz Tires look ok with the exception of a nail I ran over which will have to be patched (2 year old Goodyear assurance expensive tires with only 20 thousand mile on them) and the car was riding just fine with no noticeable issues. So today I take my car to Grimmers for a second opinion. Tires are Fine. Slight uneven wear but just needs alignment. Had them inspect the rest of the suspension and car. No Problems. Just a patch, alignment and Im on my way. CarX told me car was dangerous to drive. Grimmers told me they get a lot of second opinion visits from CarX and Levin customers who are told similar lies about their cars. Caveat Emptor. Positive reviews probably fakes read more

The store has undergone new management. Manager Mr. Kokinda runs a courteous and professional shop. I had work done on the car four months prior to bringing it to CarX. They conducted an inspection and the report reflected that even though you visually couldn't tell new parts had been installed, the inspection report indicated the vehicle was in excellent condition. Didn't use high-pressure tactics like many oil chain places incorporate trying to sell unneeded parts creating false issues. Staff was professional and respectful, the shop was clean, service was quick. Highly, recommend this oil change shop and garage to my friends and those wondering about the new management. Terrible service made an appointment for Saturday, drop the truck off early to be respectful of time and then nothing. no calls back, mums the word. once I called I'm told only one technician here and his dad died we only need one more day. and then one more day. and then one more day. Don't take your car here if you actually want it repaired. Manager very rude not respectful of peoples time or the fact that they need their cars to get back-and-forth to work or you know do things with their life. literally go to any other shop. that kid down the street that looks like a meth head that says he does brakes in his garage...go to him you'll get better service! read more

I went to this place because I was hearing a noise come from my front wheel I been to several places they were closed due to holiday but this particular shop was open I explained what was rong with my car they test drove it checked it out found out it was a tree branch lodged underneath the the car they did excellent service checked it out in timely fashion and didn't try to take advantage of me KUDOS to Carx I will return to them for all my care needs Jacob was superb when in town I will come back . read more

I went here last weekend for a long overdue brake job. I knew I needed pads and was expecting to need both front and back done. When I called around for quotes, this was the first place that suggested I might need less than I thought. Price was equal to surrounding service centers so I gave them a shot. Jacob was awesome. Didn't try to over sell me anything. Was able to cut my rotors and found I only needed one set of pads replaced. Kept true to his quote, and made sure I was happy. read more

I used to come here all the time, but the manager was not very nice. I was driving by one day, and I saw on their sign that they were under new management, and decided to give my favorite old shop one more try. I am so happy that I did! Took my car in for unknown exhaust problem. Vic handled everything expertly. Give me options to replace resonator $500 or repair for $250. I took the repair and it was quiet as before. This is the only auto repair shop that was able replace my breaks without replacing the rotor. Other places were telling me to replace the rotor because of warranty. Pads are lifetime warranty here and you just have to pay for labor. Highly recommended & ask for Jacob read more
