Funny story but it's totally fate. It's my birthday weekend and I don't like to celebrate it and all I wanted was to try the Soup n Fresh next door but when we saw the mile long line to get in, we changed our mind even after driving a long distance. First time trying this place, and the food was excellent I couldn't have been more satisfied! It was about two hours before closing, I was seated right away got the Caesar salad and the Cara Mia Angel hair pasta with chicken and man was that filling!! I wasn't expecting the servings for the salad to be that big so it was a nice surprise for sure! The music sold me it just made the ambiance that much better! I was told they have live bands on weekends so I'm curious about that will definitely stop by on a weekend to check that out and enjoy other menu choices! read more

Unfortunately, we chose the wrong night to try this place for the first time, as it was graduation dinner night, and super busy. Service was sub par due to the graduation parties taking place. That I can somewhat overlook. However, the food was mediocre at best. We ordered the Calamari appetizer, and it was super chewy with a frozen taste to it making it the worst Calamari I've ever tasted! The Salmon Linguine was super fishy tasting but yet extremely bland. I didn't taste the garlic butter nor the green onions. I added black pepper & fresh cheese which stepped it up a notch, but my hubby had to add tons of red pepper to make it taste worthy. He kindly switched his lasagna for my awful pasta. The Lasagna was really good, but an extremely small portion. My husband ordered the Italian Stallion and he said it was awful. I had the Pepperwood Chardonnay and it was a decent wine. They have no kids menu. Also, we were severely undressed which felt so odd, because we had no idea this was a fine dining restaurant or we would have spiffed up our attire a bit. It was a last minute dinner decision on our part, and I felt oddly out of place. Most patrons knew each other and the staff. Let's start by saying it was clean, but it went downhill when the host thought my son was my date & wanted to sit us in a romantic spot. Bruschetta was delicious, and the ciabbatta rolls were nice & warm. I love it when the butter is softened. Fettuccine alfredo was greasy. The spinach ravioli was drowned in cheese & sauce. Veronica, the manager, was our waitress and she was incredibly friendly and helpful. She happily answered all of our questions and gave us her full attention, while balancing all of her other staff members working that night. I've ordered through two different services while at a hotel. First two times the food was awesome. Generous portions, came hot, great food. Loved it. Another time, either it was an off night or the delivery was bad. Soup tasted old, sour, side sauce was half full. Really put a damper on my enthusiasm. I wasn't wowed by the place. Met with a friend and we were seated in the bar area. Service was pretty good, but the waitress was just so casual that it almost felt like we stopped at her house and she felt obligated to feed us. Some food was just dropped at the table with no words spoken, which felt a bit uncomfortable. We started with a shrimp and tomato sauce appetizer that was bland - not necessarily bad, but bland. Then I had grilled salmon with vegetables. The vegetables were fantastic, but one piece of salmon was raw and kind of cold inside, while another piece of the salmon was fully cooked inside. My friend had the chicken piccata, which came with the same great vegetables. The chicken was overcooked but edible. I am a regular and dine here frequently, and enjoy the food a lot. My sisters and I came here twice in September, two of us are servers! My Sister visits from Portland once in awhile and we love bonding and enjoying ourselves at our favorite places. Twice in September Veronica was our server and she came off rudely and put out by us. This is not okay, I don't go to dinner to feel this awkward vibe from waitstaff. I wish she would be nice! Normally we tip very well but we didn't the last time because we didn't enjoy our night. Once I arrived and went inside we were greeted with such a warm welcome. The order was all ready and on time. Paid for the bill and went on my way. Super excited to get my grub on. The order came with lovely warm rolls with spread. The pasta was cooked so dente and the sauce was not overbearing. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the lasagna fulfilled my cravings. My kids loved the fettuccini. The kicker was the panna cotta. Really good finish to a good meal. Hopefully when the quarantine is lifted I can enjoy a great meal in this establishment. We had a big party of about 40 people for a promotion party and it was well hosted. Veronica did an exceptional job at serving our guests and the food was exceptional. They were able to accommodate everyone from the Vegetarians to the carnivores lol. The lasagna is BEYOND delicious and baked in its own ceramic dish and SO filling. I had the scampi with linguine and took half home. The meal came with pasta, an appetizer of bruschetta and a non alcoholic drink for under $40 per person. That was a steal for the authentic recipes they created for everyone from Chicken parmigiana to lasagna and a spicy tomato sauce that was ro die for. Almost tasted like a cajun spice was grilled into the shrimp with the pasta sauce that complimented it so well. Many chose the angel hair, too, and it was seasoned perfectly with olive oil and garlic. This is one of my favorite places to dine in the IE. read more
