This restaurant is overpriced for the overall experience. We ordered several items, including a shrimp bowl (we simply asked for the burrito without the tortilla). The waitress confirmed that the burrito normally comes with beans, but when the bowl arrived, it was just rice and shrimp with no beans. That inconsistency was frustrating, especially considering the prices. What bothered me even more happened when we paid the bill. As she handed us the payment tablet, I noticed she had already preselected an 18% tip. I really don't like when servers do that--it feels presumptuous and a little sleazy. We had ordered a margarita, and it honestly felt like an attempt to take advantage of the fact that we'd been drinking by nudging us toward a higher tip. To be clear, I don't blame the waitress for the missing beans, and I probably would have tipped 18% anyway. But between the overpriced food, the missing ingredients, and the preselected tip, the whole experience left such a sour taste in my mouth. I do not recommend. read more

This place is not good has no seasoning. Very overpriced. Service was terrible. They charge you for chips and salsa and (beans we didn't even ask for) they also charge an extra dollar for the flavor of margarita. You also get charged $5 extra for paying with card and they don't let you know about any of these extra charges. We checked into the Best Western next door for the evening and didn't feel like driving any where. The front desk recommended this restaurant if we liked seafood which we do. We ordered the shrimp fajitas and they did not disappoint!! We were sharing the fajitas and there had to be over a dozen fairly large shrimp and plenty of veggies. I read all the good reviews about the Fajitas and decided to try them out. My oh my! They were delish. The vegetables mixed were full of flavor. I paired it with some corn tortillas that were nice, thick and moist. The employees are very nice and the place had a nice vibe. Low volume pleasant Mexican music was playing. Service was quick and the portion was big. I'm a big eater and the fajitas filled me up. The shrimp fajitas are $26.00 but well worth it and probably enough for two people to share. Middle of the road quality at best. I blame myself for not asking, when they asked if I wanted chips and salsa I assumed they were complementary like at most Mexican restaurants I've been to. They were not. Way too much cheese on everything...like double what I would want and I consider myself a cheese lover! Definitely could've used more meat in the nachos. My taquitos were over cooked, dangerously crispy and the insides were pretty dried out. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, with my limited time in town I won't be back again. The restaurant shares the parking lot with the motel. As soon as you enter the restaurant there's a tank with a few live lobsters. I feel so bad for them as they all have rubber bands around their claws. One of them was trying to take it off, but it was unsuccessful. There are two dinning areas, to the left you can enjoy karaoke on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays while you dine. There's also a bar attach to the left side. To the right, there are a lot of booths and countertops dinning. We ordered beef cocido, pork verde, guacamole, michelada, and jamaica. Overall, the food was just okay. Beef cocido didn't have the traditional broth flavor; instead all I tasted was the salt. It was very difficult to eat the vegetables (carrots, zucchini, and corn) as they are cut not into pieces but a long strip. Pork verde, the green salsa was more like from a can. When the waitress brought out the guacamole she also brought the salt shaker, which I thought was strange. When I tasted the guacamole it was bland. Then I know the reason for the salt shaker. Jamaica drink was from a powder mix. I thought it was cool that the michelada came with a shrimp. Service was exceptional. Our waitress was attentive. read more

The place was empty went on a Friday afternoon @4 they have a sign outside that says happy hour 1pm-5pm but the menu says it's until 4pm the waitress was nice enough to still give the happy hour price , we got 2 ultras on the happy hour menu.... We ordered 1/2 oysters to start .... They weren't detached so heads up as an entrée we ordered garlic shrimp with rice ( it's 4 pieces of shrimp) with hard white rice , and shrimp cocktail , I have never seen a clear cocktail It was very tasteless I added Tapatío & ketchup and still it tasted like cold shrimp in water . Won't be coming back again specially for the price of the food if it was good and tasty I'd say it's worth it but $25 for a tasteless clear cup of water with shrimp I don't think I'll be back , I'll just go back to Libra por Libra better service and food tastes like it's supposed to .... This is definitely a hidden gym that you must try on this occasion I chose to partake Kenzie fried whole red snapper a long with a watermelon Mojito red snapper was fresh and seasoned to perfection. Second time enjoying this amazing restaurant! Service is some of the best I have had in a very long time. Was greeted with a smile and seated right away. Was karaoke night, so sat on the karaoke side. I don't reserve her name sadly, but she has blonde hair and was an outstanding server! Smiled, took the drink order, and within two minutes an ice cold Modelo draft was on the table. She took the order and we listened to the singers doing karaoke. Ordered the Land See Air Molcajete. It was hot!!!! Fish fillet, Shrimp, Chicken, Asada, and Nopales. Was a lot. Plenty to share and still take home some. The spicy beans are crazy good! Addicting hahaha. Served with tortillas. I'm sorry to leave a bad review but unfortunately I can't let this go. First off it was empty. For it being a Saturday. Second my husband and bff and her kid got the worst food poisoning ever. I however, being vegetarian did not eat any oysters, shrimp or meat. They did. And within 24 hours all of them had severe vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pains. This is such a hidden gem! Walked over here from my office and it's a pretty large restaurant. We opted to sit outside, and came on a Tuesday (they have daily specials). The tacos were $3 and as much as 2 tacos don't normally fill me up, these did the job. I didn't get rice & beans but on the plate with the tacos, it had a fresh orange and lemon slice (the orange was soo sweet and juicy!) and it also had fresh lettuce that helped fill me up with the tacos. The FRESHEST Agra Fresca- we had pina and jamaica and it was absolutely delicious. Pictured is the chips and salsas it came with while we waited for our food along with a spicy bean dip that is so flavorful and spicy! Food was fresh and hot, part of 4 Meals, Drinks, Tax and Tip right at $150.00. Dinners averaged about $20.00 per person and $12.00 beverages. Carnitas Plate, good sized portion, meat was tender and flavorful, would have been nice to have some tortillas but otherwise no complaints, Shrimp Burrito was large and had good flavor, Shrimp Enchiladas very tasty, Chili Rellenos plate was good.
