I wish I could have remembered to take a picture of the Reina Pepiada but sadly it was SO DELICIOUS I could not wait to eat it (also I was starving ) It took a little more than 10 minutes to wait for my order which I find difficult to understand because I believed that Arepas were pretty much made already, but the wait was worth it because it was delicious, the meat, the avocado, everything in it was good! Definitely recommend this place and I would even recommended as a place to uber eats I didnt get to sit in but the area is pretty strategic and the place was clean and open! Bathrooms weren't working so that might me a thing to check if you are staying!

Love this place - been here twice & the arepas are always fresh & packedddd with meat & cheese. Not to mention the decor is adorable. Definitely a place for a solid meal & even better shakes!

No fue de mi agrado y costoso para su tipo de comida, un poco escandaloso, podría clasificarse como comida rápida

Off the bat, the exterior seems kinda plain but the inside the area is themed just like how it would be coming into a brick and mortar South American restaurant. Latin music, treats and snacks from their country. Service was swift, steady and courteous as it took no longer than 5 minutes for my food to reach my table. My lunch for the day was the Grilled Chicken Pabellon Lunch Special, Chicken Empanada, Tequequava and Tamarind juice. When the pabellon got to my table I thought it was a little on the small side but it was surprisingly filling. The Grilled chicken, a bit on the salty side still had taste to it and it was a good mix to go with the rice and beans. I loved the texture of the Empanada I had and the Tequequava (Cheeze & Guava stick) was actually superb. Never thought Mozzarella cheese could mix well with Guava fruit, but it was a solid blend. The Tamarind juice was sweet and savory. That was quite a meal I've ordered yet came just under $30 so everything was reasonably priced. The place is on a seemingly sketchy area of Cypress Hills but it's worth a second visit because the food is good and the menu has a bevy of choices there.

I had the crispy chicken sandwich, it was excellent! All the ingredients were fresh and so tasty! I…read morewaited for 10 minutes which I thought was relatively quick. I wasn't sure what to get and the staff were very nice and suggested the sandwich and they were spot on! The restaurant inside is cozy and CLEAN! Will be more prepared next time after looking at their menu.

I had to go touch the wall to see if the Halloween mural was painted or hung on the wall. No space was left undecorated. I've been here a few times for lunch but today is definitely the most memorable. Opens at noon and came for the lunch special. Lunch specials are around $16. We ordered the bistec( sirloin steak that came with rice and beans, salad and sautéed onions), salmon came with roasted potatoes and salad and the pork chop. All delicious. Asked the very attentive waitress if there were any happy hour specials and the Wednesday special is mojitos for $8.95 for any flavor. We ordered the passion fruit and coconut flavors.

It was pretty packed on a Sunday afternoon (Father's Day), but the service was still solid. We ordered the Papitas del Campo, the Bandeja Matiz, and the Lomo Saltado to share. Everything came out flavorful. Their house hot sauce? Insanely spicy in a good way, but definitely not for the faint of heart. The Bandeja Matiz was generous and filling. The steak in the Colombian breakfast was on the salty side, and the sausage was a bit too crispy for my taste, but otherwise, the food hit the spot. Would definitely come back to try more off the menu!
