Horrible atmosphere ice cold food rude staff. Go to literally any other pizza/bar. This place is laughable.

They only deliver through door dash. Order was wrong even though we ordered online, order took over an hour to receive. Food was cold. When we called to ask about missing food, they couldn't deliver it. Gave us a credit but it's a store credit, I'm not in hurry to order again. Go somewhere else. read more

I had been wanting to try this place for a while so Sis and I had lunch on a Sunday morning. We arrived shortly after it opened and the place was half full already. It looks big from the outside but the dining area is small and the bar area is even smaller (when comparing to a place like Chili's or Sammy's Pizzeria). I know that businesses are short staffer and we need to be patient but there was only 1 bartender and 1 waitress for the whole joint. We were sat at a table for 2 in the bar area. Drink and entree orders were taken. 2 Root Beers served were without flavoring syrup, just flat fizz. I made the bartender aware and they were replaced in due time. She only brought 1 root beer, not two and when I questioned why just one she snapped back that she didn't take my order. But I gave you two bad glasses!! Onion rings were delicious. Love that Chipolte Mayo. Sis's said her burger was good. Can't go wrong with a bbq burger. My hoagie however fell short. Even though it was a "hot hoagie " it was served more room temp. I could tell the cheese was melted and golden from a salamander oven but the bread was no longer warm to touch. It tasted better reheated up on my air fryer. Took a while to get our check since the place was at capacity and the waitress was busy with the dining room. Taking all things in to consideration, I'd rather do take-out vs dine-in in the future. read more

This carbone's is the best pizza place around. I'd drive 2 hrs or more just to get their pizza. All of the food is great, but I just can't get enough of the pizza. This place deserves 5 stars because the waitresses are very attentive and friendly and care about you. Give them a try right away. Its a nice cozy log house with a fireplace. read more

A Minnesota staple, this location caught my eye due to the wooden cabin build. I didn't hate or love it as I dined in on a Friday evening. There was a short wait and we were seated on the lower level near the bar and fire place. An extremely clean interior, I was more impressed with the building then the food. There were three spacious bathrooms, a bar, a second level, and a pull tab station. The pull tab station had a poor placement wedged right between the bar and kitchen where servers walk in and out causing multiple traffic jams. Additionally, the pull tab dealer was not the most pleasant. The upstairs was extremely loud as there were kids screaming and running free-for-all with limited observance from parents. Once the kids left, our dining became more enjoyable. In terms of the food, the full hoagie sandwich had far too much lettuce and not enough sauce. The pizza was fine. I wouldn't come back at my own free will but wouldn't say no if I got invited. read more

I was really looking forward to having a carbones pizza! We ordered the meat loves deep dish. Waited well over the time I was told upon ordering. When I got the pizza and opened (at home) it was the worst looking pizza I had ever seen. Undercooked, soggy and watery. The only thing edible was the crust. I called and the store manager explained that they were adjusting the ovens and thought they were good, alas not so. They were very great and gave me a credit. A few weeks later we decided to give them another try and use the credit. Ordered the same and got the same result. Watery pizza which was inedible. I did not call this time. Been to this restaurant several times recently as we are trying to support local businesses. This is a great place to go. Their menu consists of a variety of Italian style food that goes beyond pizza. I have recently tried the calzone, and the pizza sandwich that is pictured in the review. Overall the quality of food is good, great service, and perfect atmosphere. Their prices are right given the serving portions. They also maintain a high standard of cleanliness, which is important. Speed of service has consistently been right based on wait time for service, and speed of food after order. I also appreciate the friendly service. Good review on the pizza sandwich. Prefer it to the calzone. Nice beer selection with taps, and bottles. Next time I am going to try the spaghetti and meat balls. Thank you for some great meals. read more

This is one of my very favorite places to get pizza or spaghetti and I'm sad that I now live on the other side of the Twin Cities so I don't get it as often :(. But now it is a treat whenever I go up to visit family! It's always a difficult choice between the pizza (which is always perfectly balanced ratio of toppings and always comes out hot and cheesy) and the Spaghetti and meatballs (which has a great sauce and tender meatballs). This time though we added something new to rave about....the Steak bites!! They were Amazing!! The flavor was fantastic, they were perfectly cooked, and it was a really nice portion as well. The atmosphere is in a very nice cabin styled building with lots of log interior and a fireplace inside which makes it a perfect place for a meal especially as it gets cooler outside :). Parking is easy and the service is good, but the star is really the food!!. read more

I ordered a pizza for my elderly father to be delivered to his home. I ordered it online and it gave a window in which it would be delivered. I received a phone call well after the delivery time stating our ticket was "misplaced" and just found so they still had to make the pizza and have it delivered. No apology, no nothing. I fully recognize that things happen. But to not even apologize or show any amount of concern looses points in my book. The food is always good at Carbone's. Do not waste time ordering take out from here. We put in the order at 5pm for a 6pm pickup. My husband entered a black hole called Pick Ups. After the first 15 minutes of waiting I was hoping he canceled the order. He came out at the 25 minute mark and I recommended he speak with the manager. Another 5 minutes went by and he came out with the order. 'No Manager in sight. A 30 minute wait time is ridiculous!! And the broasted chicken wasn't that good. My husband and I visited Carbone's in Lexington this evening for dinner. We sat at the bar. We noticed multiple employees (like 5 or 6) not wearing a mask when within 6 feet of a customer. This included the owner/manager. Sometimes the mask was around the chin or hanging off one ear. But often a mask wasn't even present on the person. I love this place, the food and the owner/manager but was extremely disappointed with the lack of regard for public safety. This was my first, and last, time eating at a Carbone's Pizzeria. I did not like the food at all. I had Pizza Fries which was like a cracker with cheese. The sauce for dipping was good, thankfully or else there would have been no flavor. The bartender was very good and accommodating, unfortunately I did not get her name. Can't blame it on the pandemic because we stopped ordering from them 3 years ago for the same reason but wanted to see if they got any better. The answer is NO, not any better for online ordering. I like this place for casual dining. It is a pizzeria in a beautiful log cabin setting. It's a weird location but it works just fine. The pizza is good but the pizza fries are awesome. They are thin strips of pizza crust covered with cheese and a side of marinara. My husband likes the hot dago sandwich. Italin sausage on bread and covered with marinara sauce. The service us always great and tonight was no exception. Prices are great. They have a nice deck in the summer but you'll feel like you are in a nice ski Lodge when you sit inside by the stone fireplace. read more

1st thing: Thank you Yelp for existing. Normally, I would have dismissed this Carbone's in Lexington as just another Carbone's that is kinda outta my way. Why bother? With my growing desire to find good pizza outside of Blaine, I hit up Yelp and saw that Carbone's in Lexington was getting mass praise for what they do. So we dropped by on a Sunday around 4pm. Soo happy that we made that decision. This is my new "Dine-in" pizza spot in my neck of the woods. Lexington Carbone's Pizza is the standard Carbone's pizza (sweat sauce, mild sausage and extra cheese), yet they have one thing that other Carbone's do not. Incredible ambiance. A building that looks like a Chalet. With a mock fire place and wood structure all around. Like you are up North or in a European ski town. The service was A+ and they have many new craft beers on tap, as opposed to the 4 "light" beers ,1 Budweiser, and a token Samuel Adams or Summit, that floods my area restaurants. This is a nice place to enjoy a casual dinner. It resides in a 2 story log home style building that was originally an office for a log home builder. The architecture is kind of quirky for a restaurant, but it works for me. If you are kid averse, this may not be the best place because large family groups come here often. They tend to seat adult parties upstairs for a bit of separation. There is a small bar area. They always have a couple of premium beers on tap. Tonight was Mirror Pond.Pale Ale. Tasty. Most of the menu is either red-sauce Italian or burger/sandwich fare. I had Lasagna and my wife had Tilapia. Both of us had dinner salads with blue cheese dressing. I was a little disappointed in the dressing because I remember it having nice chunks of blue cheese in it. Perhaps we just had a bad batch. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was fresh and hot. The plates looked appetizing. My lasagna was quite good. The sauce was a little on the sweet side, but the flavor was good. My wife's Tilapia over rice tasted fine. I am not a big fish guy (especially with a mouth full of gooey lasagna), so I am taking her word on it. They also have pizza here. We order their pizza at home quite often. I would give it a 5 star because I love this place but the past 2x I've placed an order for a pick up which I usually get bbq chicken wings and fries. When I go to pick them up they said that they never got the order. I showed the proof both times as in phone call and the time when I called to place an order and they said "hm weird yeah we don't have it". Both times they were girls taking the orders and said they have it and even repeated the order back to me and told me the exact amount it'll be. All and all very tasty food but both times they didn't have my order which I placed over the phone and the girl said "you sure you called the correct location" I showed her the number and she said "yeah that's us" but I don't understand why they never got it :( read more

My family loves coming to this location! Very unique building with an up-north/cabin feel to it. My kids just love walking around the restaurant!
