Overall, not a good experience. I would say this more of a small town bar with a takeout pizza counter. Service was almost nonexistent and the food was subpar. We had to send the Kid's Mac and cheese back as it was reheated, old Kraft. Don't get me wrong, I love Kraft, but it does not reheat well and this was rubbery and not cheesy at all. We also had to ask for menus, silverware, plates, etc.. repeatedly. It seemed like everyone else at WiseGuys knew each other, and we stumbled in somewhere that we weren't really welcome. Stopped at this nice local bar/restaurant for an early dinner. There were a lot of people watching the game(s), eating, and having drinks. Even though they were busy, the service was excellent. As soon as someone came in, a server appeared instantly. We ordered a large sausage and mushroom pizza and were asked if we wanted fresh or canned mushrooms. Also ordered the baked meatball pasta. They make a good pizza but I would highly recommend not dining in. We recently were in to celebrate a birthday and were crammed into a smaller table then needed because a what I would assume was a regular had verbally reserved a table with the bar tender (throughout our stay they constantly had a smaller group then we did). Service was very minimal, getting refills on our drinks was really tough and the waitress made us feel like an inconvenience. I'm not sure if they were just short waitresses or that was their level of standard but it was less than ideal and I don't plan to dine here any time soon. There are much better options with better service in the area and I will choose to support them. read more

We enjoy this place a lot. Their food is fab, service is also excellent. They have a cozy small town vibe that is inviting and sincere. This last visit we enjoyed their salad bar, pizza and pizza fries. I love this place's pizza. It is a mess to eat, but the rich cheese and great crust more than makes up for it. The restaurant is totally small-town Minnesotan, with "good-ol" people drinking and ordering, and a bland yet decent interior of a few arcades and TV's. First off, this is a pizza pub...if you don't like the bar atmosphere, it probably isn't for you. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive, we got everything we needed without asking. Prices were about on par with a pub style pizza, Menu is about what you'd expect, nothing out of the ordinary for a pizza place. We shared 2 pizzas for 4 of us, and still had leftovers...it looks small butt is pretty heavy. It was awesome pizza, it really was. If you like cheesy, greasy, square cut pizzas - this place does it very well. We got one with vegies and peperoni, and another with just peperoni and sausage.
