The food is consistently good. When I've opted for delivery it's here in a timely manner.

I find it so hard now to get a delish pizza that has a thin crust, the right amount of cheese and the right amount of tasty sauce. For me, Carbones always fits the bill. I ordered a large 4 topping with a coupon from their website for $19.99. It was a combo of my fave things-pepperoni, mushrooms, green olives and banana peppers. It was cooked perfectly and tastes so dang good. They always have super friendly delivery staff, the website is easy to use and I think the price is reasonable. Def recommend! read more

If I could give their customer service at this location no stars I would! My husband was working in the garage and decided to give them a call to order a pizza, the guy working the phones was unreal, My husband asked him for the specials, and the response he got was "They're online" He told him he hadn't gone online so could you tell me the specials? Again, he just responds "They're online" so, needless to say, no pizza ordered as he was providing terrible customer service! We will not go to this location again, not worth being treated rudely. I think I can understand now why they have a 2.5/5 stars while all the other locations are much higher! read more

We ordered two small pizzas, cheese bread and BBQ wings tonight. The wings were not fried. They were cooked and loaded with BBQ sauce. They were not good! We could make them at home. The cheese bread was good. How can u go wrong with that? My hubby ordered a small pizza with meat and veggies. It was just OK. My veggie pizza lacked cheese. Called in a delivery yesterday--one pizza, with light sauce. The pizza came covered in sauce. Maybe it was a miscommunication but I asked if the person taking the order had gotten the light sauce part of the order, so on his part I knew he knew the order. Oh well. Maybe it was annoying for them to not put as much sauce on the pizza. I wished I could have returned it, but I didn't dare call. I would be worried about what would have come instead. read more

I guess I will add my name to the long list of those who won't order from the Century shop again. I placed an online order the nite before for a 4pm delivery ... plenty of notice, right? I was really looking forward to a good Carbone's meal. Well, delivery was almost 25 minutes late (with no apology OR excuses) the pie-cut that I chose turned out to be square-cut. Ok, not a big deal, but being so late, the pizza was cold and of course the cheese was pretty congealed. Plus, I had made a 20% tip (ahead of time ... my mistake.) so, today I ordered a family meal and I thought it said 2 lg 2 topping pizzas, cheese bread and a 2 liter of soda. so I placed the order for the 2 pizzas and everything was good, when the order was delivered they only delivered 1 pizza, cheese bread. After ordering from here a few times- I recently decided to NEVER order from here again. My order took an hour and a half, when the delivery guy FINALLY got to our house, had me sign the credit slip (left a generous tip) then he realized he had the completely wrong order. Walked away without another word. Over a half an hour later, another delivery guy shows up with the correct order, charging full price, no apology from the company or the delivery guy for the mix up, the cold pizza and sandwich, nothing. Still cannot believe this absolutely awful customer service. I will definitely not be giving them any more of my money. Pizza couple times before that incident had been fine, definitely not great by any means, along with not great customer service. Terrible! This is the fourth Carbones I've eaten at in my life and the best one is on 7th Street east towards downtown St.Paul... unfortunately they're closed on Sundays which is why I tried to reach out to other locations. This one on Century Avenue was the worst I've ever had. I ordered garlic cheese bread that's all I wanted the sauce was nothing more than tomato paste with extra sugar and the garlic cheese bread it's sufficient... had almost nonexistent cheese and absolutely zero garlic and it wasn't even crusty and solid toasted....it was like warm limp mush..... EVEN the location on 7th at least uses compostable take out containers!!!! Century Ave still uses styrofoam..... WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS CENTURY AVE LOCATION AGAIN. This is the USA.... meaning "WE VOTE WITH OUR DOLLARS" I will will forego ever ordering Carbones again on a Sunday to give my dollars to 7th ave location. read more

No complaints about this spot but no highlights, either. It's our #2 pizza spot when we don't feel like waiting 45 min-hour for Savoy's. The service is fine and the delivery is fast. Pizza is good, too, but it just doesn't have that Savoy je ne sais quois. read more

It needs some more garlic to get the garlic flavor in to that ,,pizza base has to be little more thick ..don't add too much olives in the veg pizza ,it will change the whole taste of the pizza. Ordered a 14 inch pizza through door dash and the pizza arrived hot but one side was only sauce up to edge- no toppings. Over an inch of dark crust and sauce. The crust all round edge was overdone to the dark brown point while center of pizza was so floppy and underdone it was hard to even pick up a piece. We've had pizza from here before and never had this issue. read more

If I owned a pizza place, the words cold and soggy would be the last ones I would want to see in a review. I would be so worried about that happening that I won't sell people cold, soggy pizza. What makes this Carbone's different is that they aren't constrained by such fears. I just got a cold, soggy pizza that made up for it's lack of adequate heat and crispiness with a real lack of flavor. If I were attempting to recreate this at home, here's what I would do. Dip a Totino's party pizza in a bucket of mop water and then dry it off with the heat of your armpit for a few minutes. Be sure to remove it before it hits room temperature. Then put it in a box and have someone drive it around town for about an hour. Do that and, depending on how much you pay the fake delivery guy, you should have a better pizza experience at a fraction of the price. I will certainly do this before ever buying another Carbone's pizza. read more

We love this Carbones location! The delivery time is right on or under what they quote us. Lunch specials are a great deal. Pizza and hoagies are very tasty (not sure what that secret sauce is on the hoagies, but mmmm good)! We have never had any problems here and we order frequently. read more

We were very disappointed. We ordered a Bacon Cheesburger pizza with no bacon and it came with bacon, then the crust could barely hold the toppings without everything sliding off. this carbones has a very limited menu compared to other carbones in the metro. the guys that work there are cool but i thought their pizza sauce was too spicy and the salad i ordered was wilted and the blue cheese dressing tasted like wallpaper paste ( im not a proud man. i have eaten wallpaper paste before on a dare. ha ). the $4.95 for a 6 pack of soda delivered is a good deal tho read more

I've been a customer of Carbonies Pizza for a long time, till I was treated like I was bothering when I called to make an order over the phone. It was rude and inconsiderate. I asked for a owner to call me back and never received anything. I still like Carbones pizza I will never order either online or call from here again. Until the owner calls me. Also the point reward system is terrible because it cant receive them by calling in. And they don't care or try to help you receive them. Based on all this I now go to and spend my $60 (after delivery) some where else. Don't be suprized to expect friendly service here. read more

Love their pizza but was trying to call an order in for carry out during the massive snow storm yesterday and they just kept letting the phone ring and ring.. I called at least 4 times. Love I said it was snowing I was out getting gas and thought I'd pick up a pizza. So I then just drove there and ordered.. I was a little angry. Then another woman came in and said she was trying to call on an order and wondered if phone want working. I said yeah me too!! I've been eating here since I moved to the area in 2000. And I loved the sh*t out of this place. I ranted and raved about it to all of my friends and family. I loved the pizza sandwiches. They were the best! I mean it. The only thing was when I ordered, the same guy always answered and he was so rude it really pissed me off. But I loved it so much I kept calling anyways. Even when I was going out of my way to sound sweet and nice this guy was still a freaking jerk. But I digress. Anyway I don't think he works there anymore because the phone guy is nice-ish now. Anyway, a few years ago I ordered a pizza sand, and was uber excited, because I moved out of the area (I'm back now) and they changed the sauce. And I know for a fact they did, I've been eating them for years. I know what's up in the carbones pizza sauce world. It tasted cheapish. And I was heartbroken. I mean it. Heartbroken. So I stopped ordering for a while. Well, like a month ago I decided to give it another shot, because it meant that much to me. It seemed normal, like they changed back and I was elated! Fast forward to tonight, I ordered again, I started eating it. And there was something terribly wrong with the onions. I don't know what but it was gross. I mean they left the most disgusting taste in my mouth, in fact I still taste it as I write this. I can't even continue to eat it. So I called to tell them about it. And I don't know who I talked to, but he was acting like I was making it up. He was kind of rude in his voice and said " we've been using the same batch since Tuesday and.we haven't gotten any complaints" ok its Thursday... and I'm sure they didn't get a huge 50 pound onion that they use the same onion for every pizza. Like one onion could have been bad. Like he thought I was making it up and was rude about it. And then tells me he's gonna make himself a pizza with onions on it test it out. Do you you really think they would admit they had gotten complaints if they had? No. And he didn't even offer to make it right. How fckd is that? I'm seriously done with this place. I have been a loyal customer for YEARS. and they treat me like this because they are cheap a holes. Screw this place. I have always been nice and polite to this place when they didn't deserve it.
